Why isn't it possible to create a CubeMX project on L552 using Makefile "Toolchain / IDE" ?

Thank you for your question,

In fact, the Makefile toolchain still not supported for multicortex products (including STM32L5), and there's no plan to support it for the moment, sorry for that.

I propose you to use the available Toolchain instead, such as STM32CubeIDE =)
