Hello everyone
I changed my PC to one with Win11 and I cannot install the CubeMX.
After I downloaded and started the setup, the extracting windows appears and after the splash screen remains opened for few second and then close.
Nothing else, I have a project to finish at my job and I do not have success with any of the trick in the forum.
Please help me

Hello @LeonardoOrazi ,
Could you please check that you have administrator rights and execute the install steps as admin?
Make sure to follow the section "Installing and running STM32CubeMX" in the UM1718 and check the Javaâ„¢ Runtime Environment used.
Thanks
Imen

Hello @Imen.D,
Thank you for your reply. I have tried installing it as an administrator, and I do have administrative rights.
I attempted to install version 6.13.0, which includes the bundled JRE, as mentioned in the documentation you provided.
On Windows 10 and in a Windows 10 virtual machine created to bypass the issue, the same installation works without problems.
I also temporarily disabled the antivirus, Defender, and firewall restrictions. The Event Viewer does not report anything relevant.
As I mentioned in my first message, after the file extraction, the application’s splash screen appears for about two seconds and then disappears.
Best regards
Leonardo

Is your physical Win11 PC provided by your work and bundled with mandatory "security" software?

NOD32 is the only security component added to the laptop. With this "security" disabled thing do not change.

Open a command prompt window. Run CubeIDE from this window. Look for useful messages.
