Could you please try to delete \.stm32cubemx folder and check! 

Otherwise, could you check if some antivirus/firewall is activated?

Hi, I followed your instructions and deleted the \.stm32cubemx folder and was able to open cubemx successfully.

I'd like to ask if the deleted folder is redundant, I'd appreciate your guidance on this
