I have a Linux Computer with 6 dual threaded cores, which shows as 12 cores and 32 GB RAM. When I am running the IDE for the STM32MP1 it runs painfiully slow. Minutes to do things that used to take a second.

am getting things like Multiple Problems have occurred. Compacting Resource Model. Refreshing Workspace, Workbench Autosave Job.

An internal error occurred while showing an internal error.

It says look at the .log file. I have not found where that is on my Linux computer.

I am running workspace 1.5.1 it looks like the latest is 1.8. Should I just wipe out the STMCubeIDE and start over?

I think a java update for the IDE yesterday killed this. I remember seeing it say something about running out of mermory. My whole system is using 5.6 GB out of the 32 GB installed.

I looked in the project file and there are 270 files that end with .log.

I have a crash.log

/home/kip/STM32CubeIDE/workspace_1.5.1/Heidenhein-157-M4/external/mesa3d/src/freedreno/.gitlab-ci/reference/crash.log

But the forum will not let me upload it from its location because it will not let me look at a hidden directoty. (,getlab-ci)

I had to copy it to the desktop then upload from there.

There is a .log file.

It has a few lines.

Superblock has invalid MMP magic. Fix? yes

Pass 1: Checking inodes, blocks, and sizes

Pass 2: Checking directory structure

Pass 3: Checking directory connectivity

Pass 4: Checking reference counts

Pass 5: Checking group summary information

test_filesys: 11/128 files (0.0% non-contiguous), 19/512 blocks

Exit status is 0

But it was dated yesterday not today.
