Missing dependencies problem (STM32CUBEIDE offline setup)

Sungjae Kim
Associate II

Hello, I'm having an issue with the STM32CubeIDE configuration.

Due to company policy, my development PC does not have internet access, so I need to set up STM32CubeIDE offline.

So, even though I installed the relevant STM32Cube for G0 series, I’m getting a “missing dependencies” error.

Why is it happening? What else do I need to install to resolve this issue?
Also, is there a way to check which dependencies are missing?

-> I cannot generate code from IOC because some dependencies are missing.

 Thank you in advance.

Hello @Imen.D ,

I followed the instructions from that link, but there wasn’t much progress.

Here are the results I found after further investigation:

  1. If I only download and install version 1.X.0 (without applying any patches), then create a new project using the MCU selector while choosing 1.X.0 as the Cube version, the project is created successfully.

  2. If I apply a patch, the problem persists even when selecting the correct version (in some series the patch applies properly, but usually the issue occurs).

  3. Even with only version 1.X.0 installed, if I create a project through the Board selector, the problem can occur as well (depending on the board).
