Live expressions not showing

I have a problem with showing live expressions. They worked on a previous project but now that I created a new one and copied the code to it, they are not showing anymore.

Any idea what could be the issue?

A complex system that works is invariably found to have evolved from a simple system that worked.
A complex system designed from scratch never works and cannot be patched up to make it work.
