Hello chocho,
Using MCSDK v5.4.8, the Potentiometer cannot be enabled directly from WorkBench, you will have to generate one of the three Potentiometer examples (Speed ramp with Potentiometer on ...) and copy the Potentiometer part to your F1 project.
