I'm using an X-NUCLEO-IHM17M1 shield with a NUCLEO-F401RE board to control a 6V BLDC motor (motor specifications are attached below). Both the 6-step and FOC control algorithms are functioning as expected, and the motor operates continuously as specified in its datasheet.
However, I am encountering an issue when the motor’s impeller experiences increased load, such as when operating underwater. In these situations, the motor’s speed decreases, even though it is not reaching the maximum current draw specified for the motor.
Could anyone advise on how to increase the current drawn by the motor under load to maintain speed?
