I am Using X-nucleo-ihm07m1 along with nucleo-f030r8 for controlling a bldc motor. once my motor enters in FOC Mode it shows over current error. what Could be a possible reason? What Can I Try

Are you using the STM32 Motor Control Software Development Kit X-CUBE-MCSDK?

If so, what version?

Could you share more details on your application?

  • Single o three-shunt configuration
  • Sensored (Hall or encoder feedback) or sensorless (BEMF detection)

According to these hardware and firmware settings you can check the OC threshold set and verify if the over current protection is properly triggered by application.

Were you able to figure out the problem? I'm having the same issue.

i have the same problem while using single shunt (sensorless) , motor pilot didn't even connect to the board
