Hi,
We are trying to develop a ESC for Drones of smaller size i.e. with low payload... Currently we are using motors of T Motor Make F2004 1700KV model, Ideally we should be achieving motor speeds up to 20000 RPM , We were looking into two of STM reference design to start the development i.e. BG431BESC1 and STEVAL-ESC001-V1, Can you please help decide which would be platform suited for this kind of application...
We already have BG431BESC1 with us is that suitable to go ahead with the same.
Thanks and Regards

Hello @sijeo-philip,
B-G431B-ESC1 has a better rated voltage range and a higher clock frequency.
On MCSDK WorkBench, an ESC example is provided based on B-G431B-ESC1, and an associated user manual is available here.

Hi,
Thank you very much for your response, we are currently working with B-G431B-ESC1 to evaluate further for our application ... As mentioned Earlier i am trying to achieve the RPM of 20000 (which is necessary for my drone ), We went through couple iterations to achieve speeds up to 16000 but beyond that it is stopping with indication of overcurrent fault... the current observed at the16000 RPM was around 20A pk to pk, Please find enclosed excel sheet with the observations we made with this Motor and the ESC board, it also contains the motor parameters for your reference... also attaching the SDK/.stwb6 with the latest setting where we achieved speeds up to 15500 as per the observations in the 2nd last column of the excel sheet... Can anyone help to understand what can be done to achieve this speed of 20K, i.e. what are we missing out... Please help
Looking forward to hear
Regards
