Where to get hex file for STLinkV2/1 firmware to flash blank STM32F103CBT6 ?

Facing some problems related to emulation circuit in STM32MP157C-DK2. STM32F103CBT6 micro-controller used in this application requires firmware i.e. STLinkv2/1. Please provide the hex file for firmware-STLinkv2/1 and necessary details to program the blank chip (STM32F103CBT6) and use it for STM32MP157C.

ST does not provide publicly the STLink firmware.

Can you tell how to get firmware for STLinkV2/1 or STM32F103CBT6 chip with preloaded firmware for STLinkV2/1?

The firmware is already preloaded into the STM32F103CBT6 if you own a ready-made STM32MP157C-DK2. You can then directly connect the ST-LINK/V2-1 to your computer and update the firmware using e.g. STM32CubeProgrammer. Use a direct USB connection, i.e. without USB hub inbetween, if you encounter connection issues.

At a module level ST offers the ST-LINK/V3MODS

The bootloader and firmware files float around in the internet.

Actually we are making a custom PCB board based on STM32MP157C-DK2. So for that we require STlink-v2.1 firmware hex files to flash the blank chip (STM32F103CBT6).

Okay, but we are unable to find any. Can you provide the link for STLink-v2.1 firmware hex file (not StLinkv2)?

The ST-LINK/V2-1 acts as debugger/programmer and is normally not required for an end application with the STM32MP157C. The firmware of the ST-LINK may only be used for original development kits from ST. As already mentioned by @Community member STMicroelectronics provides an ST-LINK/V3MODS if you want to include it in your board.

BTW: please read the Terms of Use and the Open Reference Material License Agreement, which can be found at the website of the STM32MP157C-DK2.
