Hi STMicroelectronic,
I have the MCU pard number STM32F101RCT6 and I would like to know the date code of this IC.
The markking on the IC show 815 but I am not sure it mean from 2008 or 2018. see picture as attached.
Could you please advise on this?

The STM32 family was introduced 2007, so I think 2008 it was not that far spread. Maybe other devices on the board can a hint too. And maybe the unique number. Some families have the run number encoded. I wonder why four digit date codes are not used.

Hi Jan,
Difference will not be immediate :) . A question can be lost within the thousands of other questions we receive.
An idea has to be reviewed and switched to some status.
A review is on going for ideas submitted on 2020.
