UHF RFID reader

Hi Team,

Do you have any MCU/MPU that supports UHF RFID reader/writer?

I see the ST25RU3993 was into this category, but becomes EoL. Do you have any replacement for the same?

Regards,

Jenitt

Hello Jenitt,

unfortunately "No": https://community.st.com/t5/st25-nfc-rfid-tags-and-readers/replacement-for-st25ru3993-coming/m-p/60581

Actually ST25RU3993 is not an MCU/MPU but an analog frontend with hardwired logic.

What do you mean by, "supports" ?

As @Ulysses HERNIOSUS said, the ST25RU3993 isn't an MCU/MPU anyhow; and, as the datasheet says, you can use pretty much any MCU/MPU with it:

I think the same applies to most RFID chips - they have standard interfaces allowing them to be connected to any microcontroller.

But it seems that ST don't have anything other than NFC now?
