Minimum duty cycle on a STSPIN240

HBouc.1

Hello,

As it is written in the datasheet, the propagation delay (Tpwm/d(on)) is 125ns. Does it means that if my PWM has a duty cycle less than 125 ns, the output will stay low? Or it is just a delay before seen my output getting high?

Regards,

Hugo

Hello @HBouc.1,

input pulses shorter than 200 ns could be distorted.

For each output pulse it is necessary to consider the following timings: 2x propagation delay, rise time, fall time and dead time.

Also considers that the timing values reported in the STSPIN240 datasheet are relative to VS = 5 V.

With lower supply voltage these timings increase.
