I used STM32F446VET7 on the board I PCB printed. When I use HSI, I can debug without any problem, but when I want to use HSE, SystemClock_Config(); function enters ErrorHandler().Can you help me?

I can not find any instruction in documents about gpio configuration in alternate function mode. For example I want to configure SPI GPIO. Examples found in the internet have different configuration. Is it unimportant to configure push pull and pull up/down parameters?

Hi allI'm working with an STM32F405 and one LSM6DSO32 and one LIS2DU12, eveyrthing works fine, but sometimes, for unknow reason, I go a strange whoamI from my captor, I got 0x20 value, I reset my mcu and it's works fine, any idea ? For my driver I use STM driver coming from stm github rep. Here is my i2c init function : I2C_HandleTypeDef hi2c1; void I2C1_Init(void){ hi2c1.Instance = I2C1; hi2c1.Init.ClockSpeed = 400000; hi2c1.Init.DutyCycle = I2C_DUTYCYCLE_2; hi2c1.Init.OwnAddress1 = 0; hi2c1.Init.AddressingMode = I2C_ADDRESSINGMODE_7BIT; hi2c1.Init.DualAddressMode = I2C_DUALADDRESS_DISABLE; hi2c1.Init.OwnAddress2 = 0; hi2c1.Init.GeneralCallMode = I2C_GENERALCALL_DISABLE; hi2c1.Init.NoStretchMode = I2C_NOSTRETCH_DISABLE; if (HAL_I2C_Init(&hi2c1) != HAL_OK) HANDLE_CRITICAL_ERROR(ERROR_INIT_I2C); }

I've installed the latest Cube, 1.16.0, and configured a DAC and PWM.   The code generated fine but I wanted to add FreeRTOS.  So I added it under the Middleware dropdown and it does appear to install.   However, when I generate code I do not get any FreeRTOS support.      Previously, in 1.14.0, I would see FreeRTOS in the Middlewares directory.  Now I don't even have a Middlewares directly and there is not FreeRTOS support in my generated code.  Any ideas what is going on here? thanks,Jeff

Hello,I have an STM32L432KCU chip that's on a custom board. I have exposed SWD pins for debugging and flashing. Currently I'm only able to flash and debug the chip if I supply the STM with 2.2v from my external power supply. If I run the STM at the standard 3.3v, I get the "No STM3 target found" message when using CubeIDE, plus running CubeProgrammer, I also cannot connect to the STM to read the flash contents but can at 2.2v. These are fresh chips with no previous firmware flashed onto them, so I don't believe they should be in low power mode. Even if they happen to be in low power mode from the factory, I flash them at 2.2v with a default program to ensure they aren't running in a low power mode. After flashing the chip at 2.2v, I can supply the normal 3.3v and the chip runs just fine. However, for me to debug or flash new firmware, I can only get it to run at 2.2v. Any ideas?

I have been trying to figure out which code exactly needs to be put in SRAM4 memory region for the LPBAM tool to work. All the examples I could find only use SRAM4 and fail to explain which parts are strictly needed to be placed in that part of the memory. The most concrete explanation I could find is from a workshop on LPBAM:https://rristm.github.io/tomas_materials_v2/RRISTM/stm32u5_workshop/master/handson4.md/3I have followed that advice and was able to get my application to work only under a debug session. With no active debug session I was getting DMA linked list update error. I tried placing all object files related to my LPBAM application (the folder generated by Cube) in SRAM4 and my application still would not run without an active debug session. If like in the examples I only use SRAM4 then my application works in both cases which makes me belive that there still is some part of the code that I am missing that needs to be placed in SRAM4. Any help would be appriciated.

For a project I am using a number of timers to generate and/or monitor digital signals in a custom protocol. I stumbled upon a glitch in a timer Output Compare channel which I would like to share to find whether this is recognized and if there is a possible solution. One of the timers is used in Encoder mode to detect the start and stop of the applicable protocol. Only when one of the signals is high, a rising edge on the other signal identifies the start of a message where a falling edge while the other signal is high identifies the end of a message. When detecting a start, one Output channel 3 is set high (output compare functionality). When detecting a stop the Output Compare channels is set low again. Doing so I generate a signal which is high while a message is present. The protocol is shown in this picture. The top line is a clock signal and the second line a data signal. As shown, only during the first and the last clock, the data signal changes. During the clocks in between the d

Hi,recently I detected "complex.h" and the float complex data type for C++ project files. Since then dealing with complex numbers got very easy. I would appreciate the same ease of use for 3D float vectors, i.e. I need a float vector data type and the vector operators. Is there a comparable include for 3D vectors?THXCheersDetlef

We developed custom PCB with CR95HF on it. PCB on itself was tested and RF circuit tuned(PCB and antenna design is based on development kit), antenna frequency is at 13.56MHz(+/- 0.5KHz), at around -60dB, uart communication working, can put CR95HF to sleep, wakeup, set register and protocols, but the problem is that we can not detect NFC tag (we use 14443A). Also we can't successfully finish calibrate process, described in datasheet, since the tag is never detected. We don't have a lot of experience with RF system, so looking for any kind of help.Commands we use:-protocol setup 0x0202020000-tag respond request 0x04022607 Kind regards,Klemen

Hello, I am trying to boot a Hi-Speed USB Device application using the STM32MP135F-DK by loading it from an SD card to DDR3, but it is not working. To investigate the issue, I am trying to boot CDC_Standalone that is included in STM32Cube_FW_MP13_V1.1.0 by loading it from an SD card to DDR3, but it is not going well too. I am following the procedure as below.Change the linker script of CDC_Standalone to use DDR_BASE as attached "stm32mp13xx_a7_ddr.ld.txt" and define USE_DDR.Reference: Build application for DDRChange CDC_Standalone to sign the application via postbuild steps and scripts.Reference: Create signed application.Create a loader for the signed CDC_Standalone based on SD_Ext_Loader in STM32Cube_FW_MP13_V1.1.0.Write the application to an SD card via UART interface by using STM32CubeProgrammer and try to boot it.Reference: How_to_load_and_start_STM32CubeMP13_applications_via_microSD_cardAfter following the procedure, the blue LED lights up momentaril

Hi,  I am attempting to obtain readings from the LIS2DTW12 accelerometer on board, utilizing the SPI interface and an STM32F098RCT6 microcontroller.I’m accessing the ‘who_am_i’ register along with the high and low registers for the x, y, and z axes. Upon debugging, I’ve found that the high and low values for the x, y, and z axes are consistently 0xff, resulting in raw x, y, and z values of 0xffff. Notably, these values remain unchanged even when the board is in motion.Please help me.Here is the code:     #define LIS2DTW12_WHO_IAM_I_ADDR 0x0F #define LIS2DTW12_OUT_X_L_ADDR 0x28 #define LIS2DTW12_OUT_X_H_ADDR 0x29 #define LIS2DTW12_OUT_Y_L_ADDR 0x2A #define LIS2DTW12_OUT_Y_H_ADDR 0x2B #define LIS2DTW12_OUT_Z_L_ADDR 0x2C #define LIS2DTW12_OUT_Z_H_ADDR 0x2D uint8_t LIS2DTW12_ReadReg(uint8_t reg){ uint8_t Received_data = 0; uint8_t address = reg | 0x80; HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOA, GPIO_PIN_4, GPIO_PIN_RESET); HAL_SPI_Transmit(&hspi1, &address,1

Hello, My STM32G030F6P6 is working fine with the power supply from Laptops USB Port. I am just running simple I2C Scan program. When I power up the STM with charging adapter it is not able to show me the i2c scanned devices on serial monitor. I am using Arduino to get data through uart and display it on the serial monitor. Please provide the necessary circuitry to make stm chip work with any power supply like various charging adapters.

Can NFC tags be used between one another to create a grid? Or do I need to rely on BLE?For example, and without extreme accuracy, to understand that tag1 is located in back right corner of a small room. Tag2 is located in back left corner of same 10x10 small room. And that tags 3-10 are in additional locations in the same room. Assuming that each tag is within 1-3 feet of one another. Thanks, jan

Dear Team,Under what scenarios does the api rfalNfcvPollerExtendedReadMultipleBlocks () return RFAL_ERR_NOMEM ?I am reading a maximum of 15 blocks always and the flags is RFAL_NFCV_REQ_FLAG_DEFAULT.Most of the times this works as expected and it fails rarely (example: 1/100 times). Could you please tell the scenarios this could happen ?RFAL version used is 2.8.0regards,Daan

I want to configure a stm32wb55rg as BLE gateway and ESP32 as BLE node such that ESP32 can send data sensor. The  data also needs to be sent to UART or Mobile Phone. Can anyone suggest me a MOOC or may be a document that can  be used as a manual to perform this task.

Hi,I need to use the STM32C011F4 multichannel ADC like I used to 20 years ago with other microprocessors. That is:Select ADC channel (0, 1, 5 or 6)Start ADC conversionWait for EOCRead ADC valueStop ADCIn this application I don't want to use DMA or Interrupts. Can someone please help me with this? I'm not able to find any example of this basic operation.gaston

I am using LSM6DSOX for my project. As far as I understand, meta-classifiers need to be separate for each function (for my project). But I cannot separate two_hands_free and pushing_chart functions. I think this would pose a problem for machine learning. Is this really the case? Will this cause a problem? What should I do to separate these two? And also how is the meta-classifier determined? Should I collect more data to separate these two?

Board: NUcleo 64-G474  I just want to read 2 channels of an ADC but am presented with a bewildering array of incredibly confusing options: Ranks, Continuous mode, discontinous mode, number of conversions, oversampling, triggers, etc, etc, etc. The embedded "help" is completely useless.I have two SE channels of ADC1 enabled (1 and 2), and I want to sample them both NOT in DMA. Seems reaonsonable but after hours of trying I can find nothing that works, and no resources to help. I'm trying the code below and various offshoots of it.   while (1)  {   HAL_ADC_Start(&hadc1); // start the adc  HAL_ADC_PollForConversion(&hadc1, 1000); // poll for conversion  adc1_val = HAL_ADC_GetValue(&hadc1); // get the adc value   HAL_ADC_Start(&hadc1); // start the adc  HAL_ADC_PollForConversion(&hadc1, 1000); // poll for conversion  adc2_val = HAL_ADC_GetValue(&hadc1); // get the adc value  HAL_ADC_Stop(&hadc

Hi everyone,I am currently using this board to connect to my Ndivia jetson nano device, i checked the usb devices connected to the jeson nano and it still reconize the board. Also, i have successfully generated STUHFL.so file and a STUHFL_demo.out file as the document instructed . However, when i access the .out file the device couldn't reconized the board FW which result in v0.0.0.0 and the program terminated. How can i fix this? Also, the board still work well with window OS devices

I'm developing a system with a GMS module, where AT commands are sent to the module via an STM32L0.In this case, I'm having problems with the AT+CSTT command, which was giving me an ERROR. After a lot of thought, I realized that the error was due to the fact that the command was going to the module with the T for AT missing (A+CSTT). I'm working with the commands like this:void sendAT(char command[], char answer[], int waitForAnswer) { char ATcommand[500]; uint8_t buffer[500] = { 0 }; uint8_t ATisOK = 0; sprintf(ATcommand, "%s\r\n", command);     DEBUG_PRINT("Sending AT Command: ");     DEBUG_PRINT(ATcommand); while (!ATisOK) { HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart2, (uint8_t*) ATcommand, strlen(ATcommand), 2000); HAL_UART_Receive(&huart2, buffer, sizeof(buffer) - 1, 300); buffer[sizeof(buffer) - 1] = '\0'; HAL_Delay(500); ATisOK = !waitForAnswer; if (strstr((char*) buffer, "OK")) { ATisOK = 1; } DEBUG_PRINT("GSM: "); DEBUG_PRINT((char* ) buffer); HAL_Delay

I have an ADC voltage ranging from +10V to -10V.How can i read both the positive and negative value ranging from +10V to -10V on the same ADC pin.  Thanks & Regards,Prakash

Hello,I plan to use a cover glass on top of a VL53L8CX sensor. I understand that I need to perform a calibration to account for the crosstalk effect. According to the forum and datasheet, this calibration requires using an object with a known reflectance percentage. I have two questions about this process:Can I use a board covered with printing paper, setting the reflectance percentage to 88%, and place it approximately 1 meter away from the sensor for calibration, as suggested in the comments? The datasheet mentions measuring reflectance with "vl53l8 REFLECTANCE_PERCENT." Can I use the value obtained from measuring my detected object's reflectance to calibrate the sensor when the cover glass is applied?Thank you.
