Hi, Im interfacing STW81200 with SPI without no success. I do have the following questions:What the SPI mode? Its not clear on the datasheet. It seems that CPOL = 1, and CPHA = 1.In either way, I have tested the communication with several modes and none of them works. On the MCU side, which is the one that will act as a master on spi, whats the configuration for the GPIO pin? Im using STM32L412 and I have set the MISO as an alternate function with push pull open drain and this does not work either.I can confirm that the SPI signal for SCLK and MOSI its working because the data is being pushed out of the pins. Please see the logic analyzer graphs, but MOSI line is not responding.Im following the datasheet section Example of register programming, its required when programming in SPI to have enabled a reference clock or this can be absent? Also, when the MCU is configuring for spi, it clear HW_PD, PD_RF_1 pins.

I have a design using USART1 on an STM32F3 as a LIN slave receiver using the old standard peripheral drivers from ST Micro.  The code is too much to post here, but I have LIN Break Detect and RX Not Empty interrupts enabled, and for some reason under some condition (not sure the cause yet), an interrupt is firing in USART1 and not getting cleared so the code is stuck in the ISR.My first question: are there any LIN examples from ST Micro using the standard peripheral drivers? E.g. functions like USART_ReceiveData(), USART_GetITStatus(), etc. I have not been successful in finding any.My second question: what is triggering the USART interrupt and why isn't it getting cleared? The code for the setup and ISR for USART1 is below.  The idea is, a LIN Break Detect interrupt on USART1 indicates the start of a LIN message, so clear the message buffer and reset the buffer index.  Subsequent RXNE interrupts are for the message bytes being received; after receiving 0x55 (LIN sync) and

Hello,I am developing a new product with the STM32h753, and we are trying to use both SBSFU and SFI. The secure boot implementation was already integrated and working before tackling SFI. When tackling SFI, I first tested it with a simple program without secure boot. This worked perfectly, exactly as advertised. Then I tried using SFI on our debug binary. This binary was the combined SBSFU + User application binary where the bootloader exists at the normal program counter and the user application exists in the first slot. This version of our bootloader had all the protections disabled. (RDP 0 WRP 0 etc.). This is the working firmware of our application, and I tested it with normal programming before testing SFI. So finally I build the SFI image to test the SFI and the STM32CubeProgrammer had some errors, but it seems to complete correctly. Then the device became inaccessible. I tried accessing the device with USB and UART while enabling boot 0 as well as STLINK and the device just does

Hello, Friends, I am using ADC(16 bit) to measure the STM32H747 Internal Temperature and VrefInt based on external reference voltage (VDDA 3.3V, Vref+ 2.5V). The VrefInt result is 1.221V, which looks good. However, the temperature result is 150C, which seems not correct. From the STM32H747xl/G datasheet, there are temperature sensor calibration values TS_CAL1(30C) and TS_CAL2(130C). The formular to get real temperature is (130-30)*(myADCValue-TS_CAL1)/(TS_CAL2-TS_CAL1)+30. Here are my questions: 1) Is the formular correct? 2)Which reference voltage value is used when TS_CAL2/TS_CAL1 values are read during the calibration? I am using 2.5V external voltage in my design.    Regards, YH

I am currently working on a H723 based HS USB device with external USB PHY (USB3320,USB3340,USB3300 tested). While testing i have noticed that seemingly randomly between debug/flash cycles HS USB stops working with usually no activity on the bus but the HAL Phy setup usually still succeeds enabling the PHY but leading to an unknown device for the host. After replacing the H7 everything works again indicating some internal damage. This has happened several times on different revisions each with other protection attempts already so i can rule out a random bad or damaged chip. The closest matching report is this post hinting at possibly the weirdly unprotected analog switched PC2_C and PC3_C pins which are also present and used for DIR and NXT on the H723V.There has never been activity on any ULPI pins coming from the STM after the initial HAL PHY setup with these damaged parts so damage within or behind the analog switch seems plausible that it does not see the NXT/DIR signals but could be

Hello,I'm looking for some troubleshooting advice. I saw a few tickets regarding this kind of problem and confirmed that __HAL_RCC_PWR_CLK_ENABLE() is called before setting the initial voltage scaling. This test code is completely auto-generated from IOC configured for 160MHz SYSCLK/HCLK (driven by PLLCLK which is sourced by 24MHz MSIS) and LL library for RCC, with no custom code. The code works on several of our custom development boards but does not work on their production counterparts. Both use STM32U585QII6. I assume there is some unexpected hardware difference (they're supposed to be "the same"), but I am not sure how to investigate. The debugger will crash with no debug info when stepping into or over the MODIFY_REG() statement below, where VoltageScaling is LL_PWR_REGU_VOLTAGE_SCALE1.__STATIC_INLINE void LL_PWR_SetRegulVoltageScaling(uint32_t VoltageScaling){MODIFY_REG(PWR->VOSR, PWR_VOSR_VOS, VoltageScaling);}When I inspect the PWR register on dev boards that work

I have been using STM32CubeIDE (Version: 1.10.1) with STM32CubeMX - STM32 Device Configuration Tool Version: 6.6.1-RC2.But when i do some modification in device configuration and then try to generate the code , it does not generate the code. But when i create the new project using same device configuration file (project.ioc) it does generate the code with new changes , just popup appears for less than a second saying "device configuration Tool updating code .." and then just disappears without updating the code or any error. What could be the problem?

Hello, I am using an STM32WB series processor. I am working on an MSC project involving an SD card that I communicate with via SPI. When I connect my circuit to my computer through the USB port, I encounter the following issue: "Please insert a disk into USB Drive (E:)." I am sharing the library I am using for the SD card and the modifications I made to the usbd_storage_if.c file. Could you please help me resolve this issue?

I have recently purchased an STM32H753ZI board and want to configure the differential ADC to read signals directly from a function generator. I have configured it based on the following setup, but I am facing several issues with the output.Issue 1: I am unable to read the ADC value properly. The negative side of the signal is getting clamped. How can I correct this?Issue 2: When I input a 1V peak-to-peak sine wave to the differential ADC of the STM32H753ZI microcontroller, I am getting a square wave at the output. Why is this happening, and how can I fix it?I have attached the output below when I am providing 1v peak to peak sine wave.

Hello all,A very good afternoon, I hope you all are doing goodI am implementing Diagnostics in my project and in the during the implementation of service 11 I am facing the issue for software rest, I want to know which API performs the software reset in autodevkit and here I am using the example "AVAS Compact - Test Application"(shown in snippet) as my base code.So can I know which API I need to use inside my project so that it will do software rest (this is needed for me for SID_11 implementation). Thanks & Regards,Aishwarya UM

(1)I am trying to develop a product using the STM32WB5MMG.Can I leave the unused IO pins of the STM32WB5MMG as NC?Do I need to do pull-down (or pull-up) in HW?The STM32WB5MMG has a lot of IO pins.If I need to place a pull-down resistor, I'll have to place dozens of resistors. That doesn't seem realistic. (2)Are you able to provide an internal schematics of the STM32WB5MMG?If so, please provide a link.

The following are some questions related to the absolute maximum ratings of the TSV912IQ2T which are not clear from the datasheet. Can the voltage on the input pins (2,3,5 and 6) swing to values greater than VCC + 0.2V (for example 50V) if the current is limited assuming there is a clamping diode to the supply pin? In the datasheet, there is the statement " VCC - VIN must not exceed 6 V ". In the example mentioned, 3.3V (supply voltage) - 50V (on input) = -46.7V. It is assumed that this is ok since it does not exceed 6V. Is that correct? In case the answer to question 1 is Yes, what would be the current limit value ?

Hi, I'm developing a STM32H750VBT6 board that need SDRAM, the datasheet said that only LQFP144 package does not support SDRAM, but I cannot find SDRAM option in FMC configuration. Can someone please help me.

HelloI am trying to merge USB CDC code into an existing code which is a Keil multi project code. I am using the USB CDC code generated by stm32cubemx for data transmission and reception testing. The multi project is position independent build and when i add the files from USB CDC test application into it, it throws following errors and warnings. I am new to PI concept and would really appreciate if someone could guide me over this and help me resolve these.Thanks.************************************************ Using Compiler 'V5.06 update 4 (build 422)', folder: 'C:\Keil_v5\ARM\ARMCC\Bin'WARNING: usbd_cdc_if.c(150): warning: #1357-D: static initialisation of variable "USBD_Interface_fops_FS" using address of CDC_Init_FS may cause link failure -ropiUSBD_CDC_ItfTypeDef USBD_Interface_fops_FS =linking....\objects\zero.axf: Error: L6248E: usbd_cdc.o(.data) in PI region 'ER_RW' cannot have address type relocation to USBD_CDC_Init in PI region 'ER_RO'.**********************************

Hi everybody,i am currently working with the STM32H755ZI (Revision V) on a NUCLEO-144 Board and I need to use all three ADCs. To use these ADCs I need to calibrate them according to the reference manuals and the application notes. Calibrating the offset error with or also without the HAL-Library is pretty straight forward. To calibrate the linearity error the application note AN5354 (https://www.st.com/resource/en/application_note/an5354-getting-started-with-the-stm32h7-series-mcu-16bit-adc-stmicroelectronics.pdf) states that the ADCs are calibrated when fabricated and the calibration values are stored into flash. I could not find any information about the location in flash (like an address) where these calibration values are stored. Could you help me here how to locate these values and also how to load them into the ADC-Registers to use the calibration values? If you got any further tips about calibrating the ADCs please write them below this post. Here is my init function of the

Hello Friends,I use STM32F373 for 16-bit SADC.I have single-ended input 0V to 3.3V. VREFSD+=3.3V and VREFSD- =0VWhen input Voltage change from 0V to 3.3V I get values 0 to 32767. Is it not possible to get 16-bit (65535) data?Always signed?my configuration;ConfParamStruct.InputMode = SDADC_INPUT_MODE_SE_OFFSET;ConfParamStruct.Gain = SDADC_GAIN_1_2;ConfParamStruct.CommonMode = SDADC_COMMON_MODE_VSSA;Thanks a lot.

Hii have STM32G0B1KEi was configuring the cube-eeprom-v7 emulation to use the last two pages from bank2 to store some configuration.when i came to set `START_PAGE_ADDRESS` i need the address of the second last page.reading in the 'Table 11. Flash memory organization for 512 Kbytes dual-bank devices' in RM0444 Rev 5  I see that the last page start  address is 0x0807F804 , is this correct or it should be 0x0807F800?because the last page size is  slightly less than 2K in size and since i need the second last address i usually subtract  0x800 from the last address, so what is the address for the second last page? is it  0x0807F004 or 0x0807F000 ?

Hello,I am getting an error in HAL_FLASH_Program, error: 'FLASH_TYPEPROGRAM_BYTE' undeclared (first use in this function); did you mean 'TYPEPROGRAM_BYTE'?why is this programming type not supported FLASH_TYPEPROGRAM_BYTE. Can anyone suggest a solution for this issue.Attached the screenshot below,Thank you in advance for your assistance!

Hello,I have installed and used STM32cubeIDE 1.15.1 on some workstations, and I want to replicate exactly this development environment on a new workstation. In the downloads page, this version 1.15.1 is no longer available for Linux Debian.Where can I download it?Thank you !

Give me the link to the SW Stacks source code (ST25SDK and/or iOS NFC Tap).

i was tried with cubemx 5.4 and fw 1.5.0 ethernet ping is successfully done. but now im trying to ping with cubemx 6.11.1 and FW 1.10.0 but im not able ping . so anybody done with cubemx 6.1.0 and above version. plzz help me on this.... thanks,,,,,,, and main problem when i use 6.1.0 version and above . i need to tap the run button 3 to 5 times to start the execute the program . and another one  after some time control goes  to hard fault.

Can I know what is difference between internal adc of STM32f429 disc1 board and an external 12bit 1MSPS adc.Which adc to use for any application that needs more accuracy whether I should go for external or internal adc. Will internal adc produces any noise compared to external.

Greetings,I have just received my custom made STM32H757 based boards, when I try to connect with it using the USB cable its not detected at all in my windows 10 PC but I am able to connect with it in DFU mode or using the stlink-V2 through SWD.This is the first stm32H757 base board I have designed and I am not so sure about whats wrong. Below is the schematics for powering the board do let me know if something seems wrong.I am able to flash codes through SWD and DFU mode and verify it, but doesn't seem to be running. How can I verify if the MCU is booting properly?Regards,

While using the Quad SPI mode of the OCTOSPI peripheral for four lanes, it was observed that when used in input mode all the pins except IO2 function properly. We can see the signal coming to the pin when probed externally, but it just does not seem to get sampled. Because of this the data captured seems similar but falls short of the actual value as the data from this GPIO always seems to be zero. It does not seem to be due to a faulty board also

Hello ,  I have an issue in STM32u575 IN SPI DMA , Even IF I Tried the Example code (/SPI_FullDuplex_ComDMA_Master)  there is no data received from the other side  iam using the aardvark to test it  when check the return of this function  HAL_SPI_GetState(&hspi1); will be : HAL_SPI_STATE_BUSY_TX  I tried all steps and Do the same in another project every Time I faced this issue even if using the Linked - list  mode or stander request mode  I receive the same issue with no data may please support in this point ?
