Hi,i have troubles finding the external loader for the H745I-Disco schematic. I have to admit that i drew my own board without trying it on the disco board first. The schematic says that for two Quadspi flash ICs the MT25QL512A should be used. I have two of them on my board now. Can anybody point me in the right direction? They seem to be missing in the official stm external loader github repository. I searched @Tesla DeLorean github and found external loaders that say they are fixed and tested on h745I-disco but they didnt work for me.  Should i switch to MT25TL512? Also what kind of programmer should i use. I read that v2 isnt the best for dual core. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance!!Martin

Hello,I am currently working on a medical device of safety class C that requires functional safety compliance, specifically adhering to IEC 61508 standards. We are considering using the STM32H723 series MCUs for our safety-critical application and would like to confirm if this series has been pre-certified for IEC 61508 compliance.Could you kindly provide the following information:Functional Safety Certification: Are the STM32H723 MCUs SIL (Safety Integrity Level) certified under IEC 61508?Safety Manuals & Documentation: Is there any available functional safety package or certification documentation that you could share?Development Tools: Do the development tools and libraries for the STM32H723 support functional safety compliance under IEC 61508?Support for Diagnostics: Does this MCU series provide any built-in diagnostic features such as ECC memory, lockstep cores, or self-test routines that would aid in achieving compliance? Our use case involves developing a safety-critical medi

Hi,Do you have any suggestions on how to start developing or integrating a third-party PROFINET stack on an STM32 evaluation or discovery board? I would like to create my own application for a PROFINET master and slave. If there are any example codes available, that would help me understand quickly Thanks regardssiva

Hello team,is one of the STM32 MCUs suitable to run a RS485 interface with 12MBit/s? This is related to a UART interface which should be clocked by at least 192MHz.Best regards,Jochen Ruopp

Subject: Issue with Displaying Speedometer Values on STM32H747XIH6 Board Dear ST Community, I am currently working on a project involving the STM32H747XIH6 DISCO board, using TouchGFX to create a speedometer display. I am facing difficulties where the speedometer values are not being displayed on the screen. Additionally, I am encountering some errors during the build and execution process. Project Setup: Board: STM32H747XIH6 IDE: STM32CubeIDE with TouchGFX integration Peripherals: FDCAN for receiving data (speed values) Middleware: FreeRTOS and TouchGFX Problems Encountered: The speedometer values are not updating on the display, despite the data being received via FDCAN. During the build process, I am receiving the following errors: Undefined reference to __sf_fake_stdin, __sf_fake_stdout, and __sf_fake_stderr in FreeRTOS. Undefined reference to HAL_FDCAN_Init. Actions Taken: Verified the initialization of FDCAN in both STM32CubeMX and in the code. Checked that the necessary

Hi all.I'm working with the F767ZI Nucleo today, specifically trying to compile and evaluate an example in the F7 Firmware repository: C:\**\STM32Cube\Repository\STM32Cube_FW_F7_V1.17.2\Projects\STM32F767ZI-Nucleo\Applications\LwIP\LwIP_HTTP_Server_Netconn_RTOS.After the required conversion to enable it to compile in CubeIDE, everything thereafter was absolutely fine, although I was aware of some on-screen information relating to backing-up of the original source code files. I didn't take too much notice of it and perhaps I should have. The project compiled with zero errors and zero warnings.  Flashing the board was also sucessful.  The project runs as expected, displaying the demo webpage from the assigned IP address.However.  I decided to copy the original project to another directory on another drive so I could take a deeper dive into the code and now, both the original Repository copy and the copied project have errors:    Error: Program "make" not

Hello everyone,I'm working with the Nucleo NFC07A1 board, which mount the ST25DV64KC chip, to create a simple Tag-Reader system. At the moment, I'm testing the ST25 with my smartphone, using the ST25 Android app.A user from the ST community suggested I use the "Send Custom Command" function on the Android app to send commands via the RF antenna coils.I started with simple commands, and they worked fine. For example, I was able to read and write to the EEPROM and check the configuration of some registers, all without any issues. However, when I try to use the Mailbox read and write commands, nothing seems to work. Here's what I did:First, I enabled the Mailbox in the "Mailbox Management" menu. Then, I verified that FTM mode was enabled by checking the MB Control Dyn register in the "Dyn Register Management" menu (it was set to 0x01).Next, I sent the following message through the "Send Custom Command" menu using this configuration:Option Flag: DisabledAddressed mode: EnabledSelect mode: Di

Hi, I have a customized STM32G0B1RCT6 board, and I'm trying to use its USB host function to connect to a flash drive. I used the file handling function to create a text file and store text files from the controller to the USB. I tried the same steps on the STM32F429I-DISC1 board, and it worked well. However, it's not working on my G0B1RCT6 customized board. Why is this happening, and how can I interface the USB host with the STM32G0B1RCT6 Controller? On the STM32F429I-DISC1 board, the power supply is coming from the EN and ENABLE pin connected to OTG_FS_PSO, which is in turn connected to PC4. How can I determine the VBUS power supply on the STM32G0B1RCT6?Anyway, I am sending my code.

I have an STM32U535RET6 chipset and I'm trying to enable it's voltage reference buffer, but I can't. I have the latest version of the STM32 Cube IDE, and I'm stuck at the "VREF+ is double bonded with VDDA in this package" message. What's interesting is that a colleague of mine, somehow can enable the VREFBUF-er. I've attached 2 screenshots below, as well as the .ioc file. It's the same chipset, so I'm relay confused about the actual problem. Can somebody help me out please?

Hi,Id need to measure the frequency of an input signal using TIM4. My device is a STM32L475RCT and to do this I've used the TIM_InputCapture example from CubeIDE. In my application TIM1 is not available. The problem is for the TIM4 I'm not able to set the Input Capture Interrupt from NVIC Interrupt table. How can I do this? I've also observed the TIM17 is available and I think this timer can be linked to TIM1 somehow. The Input Capture Interrupt for TIM1 is feasible.Any idea?regards, gaston

Hello, can you create a dynamic Page with Touchgfx? That means when the board is running, create a new widget. The widget and the number of windows are not predetermined and change while the program is running. best regard

Hi,I'm working on the project using STM32H723 with an external flash (GFX02Z1), I'm moving the application code to that 8MB external flash on GFX02Z1, I saw the guidence mentioned that only read access after memory mapped enabled? The reason I asked is that we will need to support firmware upgrade, so we may need to conside other solution if not have the write access after memory mapped mode enabled. Please help to confirm, thanks. Best Regards,James Shih

The thing is,i have a custom design board with STM32F446RE  and it's Nucleo varianti have a code with multiple timers but when i run the program on my custom board it goes to Hardfault error after a timer callback but the same problem dosent happens with the Nucleo board although the code remains the same

Hi,I'm trying retarget printf. My uart_write function is working correctly and i'm able to see character on Teraterm. But when i try to use printf it is not working. i even tried semihosting to execute printf but it fails. i'm attaching the screenshots -Disassembly of the code stucks at "bkpt 0x00ab" -any solution for this problem?

Hello, I am trying to work on the STM32MP257F-EV1 development board and am running into an interesting issue. Whenever I have both the USB (For booting) and the ST-Link (For power and using minicom) plugged in at the same time booting the image to the board doesn't work, it will boot up to partition 0x03 and then reconnect and start over until I force cancel it. Is there anything I can do in order to allow both of those to be plugged in at the same time? Thanks,Carson

Hello,  I am currently working on bringing up a STM32MP257F-EV1 Development board and I am having troubles. I am working on getting the STM32MPU-Ecosystem-v5.1.0 working so that I can start working on the board with Cube Programmer but all the online resources on how to get that installed are done through Linux and I am operating off windows. Is there anywhere where I can just do 1 install like for the starter-package? Or if not is there anywhere where there are Windows instructions? Any help would be so greatly appreciated. Thanks!Carson Kirk

Hello, I have made a lot of posts over the last few days while trying to bring up an ST development board trying to fix the issue, and I think I finally figured out what's wrong. I am following two guides being these sources: STM32MP25 Evaluation boards - Starter Package - stm32mpu and Populate the target and boot the image - stm32mpu. I am using a windows computer, and I now see that it is because I don't have VMWare, and upon going to your link in the PC prerequisites tab it leads to a download page in which hasn't been working for a while it seems, I am wondering if anyone knows any alternate download spots, I can go in order to get the required software. Thanks!

Hello,  I am working on bringing up the STM32MP257F-EV1 Development board and have a question. I was wondering if the SD card is actually required or if it and the EMMC are completely interchangeable and the whole board can work off completely off the EMMC.  Thanks!Carson
