HelloFor now, I have a Bluetooth application that sends data through a custom app with notify.I see my device on the ST bluetooth tool box with my data. However, to update my application, I want to send data only if I am correctly connected to my phone to not miss data.I tried to work with aci_hal_get_link_status() function but the status stay at 0. Here's a snippet of my code : uint8_t link_status = 0; uint16_t link_connection_handle = 0; aci_hal_get_link_status(&link_status,&link_connection_handle); main_CreateBufferBle("color:red\n size:1.5\n length:100 \n",0,count); Custom_APP_Send_Data(0);  So I do see the data on my phone but the link status and link connection handle stay at 0. I haven't found an example of using this function so I might use it wrongly.Kind regards,Pierre Lobert

After one of the program updates, the "Command Shell Console" stopped opening. As usual, I click on "Open console" button, then on "Command Shell Console", but nothing happens.I rebooted the computer, restarted the program. But nothing changes - just no reaction. CubeIDE 1.17.0, Windows 10, Core(TM) i7-8750H, 32 GB RAM.

Posted on January 16, 2018 at 15:48In RM0390 rev.3, in Figure 347. SPDIFRX States, sync_done internal signal is mentioned (and nowhere else). Isn't it the same as SPDIFRX_SR.SYNCD, at least from the programmer's point of view? If so, please replace sync_done by SPDIFRX_SR.SYNCD in that figure, which removes unnecessary confusion (and also allows to remove the note in that figure).JW

Hi, I am kinda new to this community.I am working with STM32L432KC micro controller and using it to control a PTC heater having power rating of 20Watts.The control is basically ON/OFF control with single pin activating the relay and switching the heaters ON.I am continously measuring the temperature of these heaters through k thermocouple and MAX6675IC.The problem is when below a certain threshold temperature heater is switched ON the the temperature immediately drops to zero. Any one having any insights on this Problem?

Hello,While debugging STM32H5 SPI2 (slave and master) in receive mode, the debug suddenly stopped and somehow I can't work in debug again.

I'm trying to develop an application for the STM32H750 using USBX to implement two classes on the same USB device: CDC ACM and MSC. I've managed to get each one working individually, but I'm having trouble combining them. When I connect it to a PC, no driver is assigned to the CDC, although it's recognized as both a mass storage and communication device. Has anyone encountered this issue before? Is there any example I can use as a reference?

Hello!I am having weird behaviour on my STM32G071 MCU.I set up the ADC to measure in sequence and I want to get an interrupt when the sequence has finished. The ADC is set up with DMA and I am starting conversions manuallty within my loop that runs once a second. In the interrupt handler I check for EOS and EOC. When I enable the EOS and EOC I get thousands of EOS interrupts in a second and no EOC interrupts. When I enable the EOC and disable the EOS I get an EOS interrupt for every channel that I have in the sequencer, but no EOC interrupts. It seems like all the channels are measured during the interrupt, but I shouldn't even have these EOS interrupts. Although this kinda works for my application, this still isn't normal. When I check the regs, the EOCIE is 1 and EOSIE is 0. I also added the reg data as a file. There you can see that the EOS flag is set, but the EOC is not, while EOCIE is set, but EOSIE is not.My IRQHandler looks like this:/** * @brief Interrupt handler for ADC. */ vo

Hi, We are trying to solve some problems regarding our SPI bus (bus stability, due to multiple branches in noisy environments) and reduce costs by eliminating a SPI sensor and make our STM8 to read a NTC. We would like the system to answer as the old SPI sensor, so we want to connect its CS to the STM8. The STM8 already had its own CS, so now it has two CS pins and we need it to answer to both of them. Is there a way to make this work? Thanks in advance! EDIT:Attached you can find the schematic diagram of what I am trying to do. Basically we had a branched SPI bus (the master device can host up to 4 slave modules, each one has again a division of the SPI bus in two branches). We are eliminating the second branching, so there is only four branches with no extra division. The STM8 now has to read the NTC, extract the temperature and answer to the commands that were meant to be sent to the old temp sensor. We are trying to implement this in order not to change the FW in old

Hello,I am trying to put the Lorawan keys (DEVEUI,APPEUI, APPKEY) from a serial terminal using uart communication for end node application. I am using uart interrupts for this. There is cubemx generated usart_if.c file which contains HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback() already. This is the code snippet: void HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback(UART_HandleTypeDef *huart) { /* USER CODE BEGIN HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback_1 */ /* USER CODE END HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback_1 */ if (huart->Instance == USART2) { if ((NULL != RxCpltCallback) && (HAL_UART_ERROR_NONE == huart->ErrorCode)) { RxCpltCallback(&charRx, 1, 0); } HAL_UART_Receive_IT(huart, &charRx, 1); } /* USER CODE BEGIN HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback_2 */ /* USER CODE END HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback_2 */ }  How to modify this with my code so that I can receive a command from serial terminal and proceed accordingly. Thank you.

Dear helpers,Thanks to valuable assistance from members of this forum I managed to get my project running on a STM Nucleo-H723ZG board, even with a USB-OTG connection to a VCP on my desktop PC. There is only one issue with this connection I can't solve. A Nucleo board has two USB-micro connectors, one for the ST-Link and one apparently for the USB-OTG. When I plug a USB-cable between this connector (CN13) and an USB-port on my desktop the Windows Device Manager shows a (new) port and I can stream my results to the Windows machine. So far, so good!At first sight this looks fine, but: the Nucleo board appears to receive power via this USB connection, which I don't want to happen. It took me some time to become aware of this phenomenon, but I observed the MCU remained powered while I had switched my DC-supply off !  This also explains the changes in current output of my DC-supply: by minimal changes in voltage, the contribution of the two pa

We are having trouble understanding the NRST pin characteristics. The STM32H742xI/G STM32H743xI/G datasheet gives these parameters:I have three questions:1. What does 'input filtered' and 'input not filtered' pulse mean?2. Is it by design true that a filtered reset trigger with a duration shorter than 50ns, will never be detected?3. We use a 3.3V Vdd. Does a not-filtered pulse require 300ns or 1000ns duration to detect a reset?

I am developing a graphic application on the STM32U5G9J-DK2.To save memory space I configured L8_RGB565 image format. After compiling I notice a good saving of resources in flash, but the following crash occurs:assertion "0 && "L8_RGB565 Indexed Bitmap format is not supported!"" failed: file "touchgfx_nema/source/LCDGPU2D.cpp", line 1011, function: void touchgfx::LCDGPU2D::blitCopyL8(const uint8_t*, const uint8_t*, const touchgfx::Rect&, const touchgfx::Rect&, uint8_t) How to solve? My environment is the following:STM32CubeIDE 1.17.0STM32CubeMX 6.13STM32TouchGFX 4.23.0STM32Cube_FW_U5_V1.7.0

Dear ST Community, I am experiencing issues while attempting to connect my STM32MP1 to a Wi-Fi network using the steps outlined in the official tutorial: How to setup a WLAN connection. The specific issues are as follows:IPv6 connection but no network access: After following all the steps in the tutorial, the wlan0 interface connects successfully, but only obtains an IPv6 address. However, I cannot access the network or perform any connectivity tests.Manual IPv4 configuration required: To gain access to the network, I have to manually set a static IPv4 address on wlan0, along with the default gateway to the router. Once this is done, I can connect to the internet without issues.dhclient command not working: I attempted to obtain an IPv4 address automatically using dhclient, but the command is not available on my system. I saw some forum responses with this command but is not recognised in my board. This raises concerns about whether the tutorial might be outdated or if there’s a mi

Hello, I use HRIM on STM32F334 for a buckboost. Before entry in control loop I need to force TA1 output high during 20mS to pre-load capacitor.To force TA1 output, I use :   output_config.SetSource = HRTIM_SET1R_SST; output_config.ResetSource = HRTIM_OUTPUTRESET_NONE; HAL_HRTIM_WaveformOutputConfig(&hhrtim, HRTIM_TIMERINDEX_TIMER_A, HRTIM_OUTPUT_TA1, &output_config);  It's ok to set TA1 ON, but when I want reset the output I use :   output_config.SetSource = HRTIM_OUTPUTSET_NONE; output_config.ResetSource = HRTIM_OUTPUTRESET_NONE; HAL_HRTIM_WaveformOutputConfig(&hhrtim, HRTIM_TIMERINDEX_TIMER_A, HRTIM_OUTPUT_TA1, &output_config); HAL_HRTIM_WaveformOutputConfig(&hhrtim, HRTIM_TIMERINDEX_TIMER_A, HRTIM_OUTPUT_TA2, &output_config);  No effect, TA1 stay up. if I use   output_config.SetSource = HRTIM_OUTPUTSET_NONE; output_config.ResetSource = HRTIM_RST1R_SRT; HAL_HRTIM_WaveformOutputConfig(&hhrti

Dear experts,I'm trying to receive continuously from a USART with interrupts. For some reason I don't want to use DMA (the Tilen Majerle's DMA example on github works well, though)So I'm enabling RX FIFO and Receive timeout (RTO) for receiving less than FIFO threshold. Then, loss of data occurs. Many sent bytes are not received in the ISR.Without RX FIFO threshold interrupt + RTO; only with RXNE interrupt; RX works well as expected.Does anybody have idea what is missing for RX FIFO threshold interrupt? Below are two variants : with only RXNE interrupt (working) and with RXFTIE + RTO interrupts (failing).Note that in both cases the FIFO mode is enabled, and any RX errors are ignored.I've tried to reproduce the logic from the HAL UART driver, HAL_UART_Receive_IT.Cannot use this function as is because need continuous RX (unlimited size) .// INIT void UART_init(UART_HandleTypeDef *pu, USART_TypeDef *U) { pu->Instance = U; pu->Init.BaudRate = baud_rate; pu->Init.WordLength = UART_

Hi, I am using an STM32F030C8T6 on a Bluepill PCB with STLink-V2 programmer. I have been successfully programming this board and others like it for a couple of years now. The issue is that on CubeIDE 1.15 on my laptop, the IDE refuses to program/ detect the ST-Link. ST-Link utility and cube programmer are able to detect the ST-Link easily as well as the STLinkUpgrade function within the CubeIDE can detect the ST-Link. It gets weirder as when I restart the PC, I can open the CubeIDE and program the STM32 once. If I try to enter the debug mode, the process gets interrupted midway but the Run command succeeds once. After that I get the message. "No ST-Link Detected. Please connect ST-Link and restart the debug session". The hardware works perfectly on two other PCs only my laptop is the issue. I have tried using other ST-Link devices on this laptop but there is no change. I've uninstalled and reinstalled CubeIde, CubeMX, ST-Link-server and ST-Link USB bridge but n

Hi, I upgraded CubeIDE from 1.14.1 to 1.15.1 and CubeMX from 6.10.0 to 6.11.1. After the upgrade I built my code, and everything worked fine but I changed some parameters in CubeMX and tried to regenerate the code. CubeMX asked for upgrade of FW_WBA from 1.3.0 to 1.3.1 and I did this upgrade also.STM32 Board: STM32WBA52CGWith FW_WBA v1.3.1:1. Dear, All.I am trying to use HSE, but I ask for your help by continuously returning HAL_TIMEOUT from the HAL_RCC_OscConfig() function. The test environment is as follows.BOARD: NUCLEO-F303K8T6IDE: STM32CubeIDE (latest version)FIRMWARE: STM32Cube FW_F3 V1.11.3The code generated by CubeIDE is as follows, and it is automatically generated, and the code has not been modified at all. RCC Mode is set to BYPASS Clock Source and Master Clock Output is disabled.RCC_OscInitStruct.OscillatorType = RCC_OSCILLATORTYPE_HSE;RCC_OscInitStruct.HSEState = RCC_HSE_BYPASS;RCC_OscInitStruct.HSIState = RCC_HSI_ON;RCC_OscInitStruct.PLL.PLLState = RCC_PLL_NONE;if (HAL_RCC_OscConfig(&RCC_OscInitStruct) != HAL_OK){Error_Handler();}If HSI is used, it works fine even if it is set to 64 MHz.With HSE, several other NUCLEO-F303K8 HAL_TIMEOUT returned from the same location. And I don't remember exactly when I tested it, but when I tested it with CubeIDE a few years ago, everything worked fine. The code that c

Hi all I want to know About WKUIE bit in IER STM32F407 disc board. I have configured filters for Fifo so do I have to enable WKUIE bit in IER register because even I have not enable it still I am able to receive data as RXinterrupt in rxfifopendingmessage . so can you explain me is it okay to let it disable or enable . I have a problem here:When calling strcat() on a target string with odd length and odd source, the controller goes into hardfault, SCB_UFST_UNALIGNED is set. If I deactivate the unaligned trap (SCB_CCR_UNALIGN_TRP == 0), the following happens. The controller goes into hardfault on calling putchar(), SCB_BFSR_IBUSERR set. Many previous calls to putchar() work fine.I use CUBEide with GNU Tools for STM32 12.3rel1.The code has already been compiled for other STM32 derivatives and other versions of GNU Tools, and works fine on these systems.
