  Hello STM Community,   I want to implement on STM32H723 ultrasonic sensor and I use TIM8 Input Capture mode to read time between falling edges. It worked on interrupts, but I want to use DMA in order prevent interrupt storm and to speed up calculations.  For such a purpose I want to use DMA1 Stream 0 for Channel 1 and Stream1 for Channel2. I configure it using Low Layer library: #define CAPTURE_BUFFER_LENGTH 1 static uint16_t captureBufferCH1; static uint16_t captureBufferCH2; LL_TIM_InitTypeDef TIM_InitStruct = {0}; LL_GPIO_InitTypeDef GPIO_InitStruct = {0}; LL_APB2_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_APB2_GRP1_PERIPH_TIM8); LL_AHB4_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_AHB4_GRP1_PERIPH_GPIOC); GPIO_InitStruct.Pin = LL_GPIO_PIN_6 | LL_GPIO_PIN_7; GPIO_InitStruct.Mode = LL_GPIO_MODE_ALTERNATE; GPIO_InitStruct.Speed = LL_GPIO_SPEED_FREQ_HIGH; GPIO_InitStruct.OutputType = LL_GPIO_OUTPUT_PUSHPULL; GPIO_InitStruct.Pull = LL_GPIO_PULL_NO; GPIO_InitStruct.Alternate = LL_GPIO_AF_3; LL_GPIO_Init(GPIOC,

 #include"STM32H743.h" /* CAN Handle */ FDCAN_HandleTypeDef hfdcan1; /* Function to Initialize CAN Peripheral */ void CAN_Init(void) { /*CAN GPIO Configuration (PB12 as RX, PB13 as TX)*/ GPIO_InitTypeDef GPIO_InitStruct = {0}; __HAL_RCC_GPIOB_CLK_ENABLE(); // Enable clock for GPIOB // Configure PB12 and PB13 for CAN (RX and TX) GPIO_InitStruct.Pin = GPIO_PIN_12 | GPIO_PIN_13; // Combine pins GPIO_InitStruct.Mode = GPIO_MODE_AF_PP; // Alternate function push-pull GPIO_InitStruct.Pull = GPIO_NOPULL; // No pull-up or pull-down resistors GPIO_InitStruct.Speed = GPIO_SPEED_FREQ_VERY_HIGH; GPIO_InitStruct.Alternate = GPIO_AF9_FDCAN1; // Alternate function for FDCAN1 HAL_GPIO_Init(GPIOB, &GPIO_InitStruct); hfdcan1.Instance = FDCAN1; hfdcan1.Init.FrameFormat = FDCAN_FRAME_CLASSIC; hfdcan1.Init.Mode = FDCAN_MODE_NORMAL; hfdcan1.Init.AutoRetransmission = DISABLE; hfdcan1.Init.TransmitPause = DISABLE; hfdcan1.Init.ProtocolException = DISABLE; hfdcan1.Init.NominalPre

We want to change the font and color of text fields at runtime. The text always remains the same. We only want to change to one of the predefined fonts. Is this possible with TouchGFX?Thank you for any advice.Regards, Roger

I have setted:SYSCLK: 250 MHzHCLK: 250 MHzAs a SysTick source I tried: HCLK, HCLK/8, LSISTM32Cube FW_H5 V1.4.0I'm getting 2ms instead of 1ms in any configuration. Any idea how to fix it?

Hi, i need help with a strange behaviour of the FDCAN RX interrupt. I have 2 controllers which communicate with each other over CAN bus (Classic CAN). The first (my problem mcu) sends a command message and the second answers with 3 messages. The problem is, that on the first MCU the RX interrupt is only called twice and the third message stucks in the fifo until I send a new message. I have made some debug output which shows my problem a little bit clearer: 106 CAN TX: 0E 07 00107 CAN RX: 01 0A 02 FF FF FF FF FF108 CAN RX: 02 08 00 00 01 0E 00 EBFIFO: 11118 CAN TX: 0E 07 001119 CAN RX: 03 08 FF FF FF FF FF FF1120 CAN RX: 01 0A 02 FF FF FF FF FFFIFO: 22130 CAN TX: 0E 07 002131 CAN RX: 02 08 00 00 01 0A 00 F82132 CAN RX: 03 FA FF FF FF FF FF FFFIFO: 33142 CAN TX: 0E 07 003143 CAN RX: 01 0A 02 FF FF FF FF FF3144 CAN RX: 02 08 00 00 01 0C 00 FBFIFO: 44154 CAN TX: 0E 07 004155 CAN RX: 03 FB FF FF FF FF FF FF4156 CAN RX: 01 0A 02 FF FF FF FF FFFIFO: 55166 CAN TX: 0E 07 005167 CAN RX: 02 08 0

Dear STM Community,I am currently working on enabling USART6 for data transmission on my STM32F7508-DK board, but I have been unsuccessful so far. I have checked the datasheet for the correct RX and TX pin configurations, and I have tried two different pin combinations:PG9 for USART6_RX and PG14 for USART6_TXPC6 for USART6_TX and PC7 for USART6_RXWhen I use USART1, everything works perfectly, but I need USART1 for other tasks, so I am planning to use USART6 for terminal output.Could someone help me or provide a solution to get USART6 working as expected?Thank you in advance for your assistance.Best regards,@AS5

Hi, My project use STM32H750IBK6 MCU and it works well with STM32CubeIDE v1.16.1. But it stop running after migration to STM32CubeIDE v1.17.0 with FW H7 V1.12.0. Any suggestions? BRs, -Engin

Hello, I am a beginner in Embedded systems and I have the board DevEbox STM32H7XX with STM32H743VIT6. when i come to select it in Stm32cubeide I don't find this board. how can i fix it? Thank you in advance

Hi everyone,I'm currently working on a project where I need to use Port1 IO[7:4] of OCTOSPI1 on the STM32H735IGT6 MCU to interface with a MT25QL512ABB NOR Flash in Quad-SPI mode with dual-quad mode disabled.I configured the OCTOSPI1 peripheral in CubeMX as follows:Mode: Quad SPIClock: Port1 CLKChip Select: Port1 NCSData [3:0]: Port1 IO[7:4]After generating the code and implementing test logic for writing, erasing, and reading from the NOR Flash, I observed the following:Clock and Chip Select signals are fine (verified using an oscilloscope).IO[7:4] signals are null (unchangeable), meaning no data activity is visible on the lines. My test code follows the standard configuration steps to enable writes, send commands, and perform operations like erasing and programming. I even tried reinitializing the peripheral in a loop for multiple operations, but the IOs remain inactive.I'm attaching a screenshot of my CubeMX configuration and some excerpts from my code: int main(void) { /* USER

Shouldn't CubeMX 6.01 create the #defines that coorespond to newly added User Labels in an existing project ? Of course it works if I add the User Labels as #defines manually. If this is the expected design behavior, please let me know...Thanks,Heather

Can the memory generated by DMA be accessed and used as data? And how?

Hello,I am programming my ISPU code that work on interrupts INT1 and INT2 in STM32CubeIDE and testing it in STEVAL-MIK109V3 with adapter board MKI229A (LSM6DSO16IS) and showing my output value in MEMS Studio.I configured the conf.txt linking the interrupts NT1 to function "algo_00" and INT2 to function "algo_01".conf.txt:     acc_odr 104     acc_fs 2     acc_mode high_performance     gyr_odr 104     gyr_fs 500     gyr_mode high_performance     ispu_irq_rate 104     ispu_int1 enable     ispu_int2 enable     ispu_latch disable     algo 0 enable     algo 1 enable     algo_int1 0 enable     algo_int2 1 enable After building and uploading the ispu.ufc in the sensor with MEMS Studio happens that when INT2 is 0, it freezes all my custom ISPU Output data. And when INT2 is 1, it

I downloaded the firmware STM32Cube_FW_G0_V1.6.2 for testing code using the development board NUCLEO-STM32G071RB. However, the folder ../Drivers/BSP/STM32G0xx_Nucleo is missing. Where can I obtain it and the nucleo-specific files?Thank you!

Hello,I am currently designing a product which uses the STM32G491REI6 (UFBGA64 package) as the PCB cost more because of the usage of micro and blind vias, i am thinking to switch to the LQFP64 package. I checked the datasheet https://www.st.com/resource/en/datasheet/stm32g491ce.pdf especially the 4.9 Pin definition section and it seems that both packages are compatible. I am asking the question now to confirm if both packages are fully compatible and if the only change required is a pin assignment change in the SW side. I would like to use LQFP64 as it will help me lower the cost. Could you support me in this issue?Thank you.

You want to use TIM1 to trigger GPDMA to move the GPIOB->IDR data to a variable. The previous implementations were based on stm32L4, but I don't know how to implement gpdma. Attached L4 project.   *This post has been translated from Chinese to comply with the ST Community guidelines.

I tried the bsp example among the examples of the stm32 h7s78-dk board. I integrated it into my own code. My aim is to use the LCD screen and broadcast the camera output on it. In the first stage, I try to print any text on the screen. The BSP example code works but cannot be debugged. I also get an error about pll3 when trying to initialize lc in my own code. I have shared the reasons for the error step by step in the pictures while debugging.

HiI don't know how to configure the CAN filter bank registers to receive extended IDs in ID list mode.Naturally, I read the manual, but there was no explanation.Even if there was, it would probably be difficult to understand.  I found the following diagram in the manual.I would like to know the settings of the filter bank register to receive 0x18DAF1DA.Please tell me the code for ???? using canId variablecanId = 0x18DAF1DAsFilterConfig.FilterMode = CAN_FILTERMODE_IDLIST;sFilterConfig.FilterScale = CAN_FILTERSCALE_32BIT;sFilterConfig.FilterIdHigh = ????sFilterConfig.FilterIdLow = ????sFilterConfig.FilterMaskIdHigh = ????sFilterConfig.FilterMaskIdLow = ????Since it is in ID list mode, you can set two CAN IDs, but the same setting is fine.It seems that the IDE bit needs to be set to 1.... Help Me!!

Hey St Forum, Just getting a new project off the ground, and working with the STM32H7S7 Dev Kit. So far, I've been able to get some example code up loaded into CubeIDE, and upload to the board. However, when I try and debug, I get this error: Viewing the ASM shows that we're getting hung up on a b.n instruction very early in program memory: I'm not 100% sure what this means. It seems that this is some kindof width check instruction, But I'm not sure why it would be referencing it's own instruction address. After I disconnect the power from the devboard, and plug it back in, the firmware runs fine. I'm doing the GPIO example, where LD 1 -> 4 all flash in 100mS delays. Before this I did have to specify that I needed to load the program from external flash. I followed this thread for that advice. But, they recommended using an "ExtMem_Boot" for there example, which is missing on the STM32H7S78 example selection. My s

I have read through a couple posts on this but did not get a clear answer.I have two projects in a workspace.  One shows the tree as:  (This is how I want to see it!)The other just shows Core with only .c files.I can't see what is the difference as far as settings between the two projects that is causing this? How do I show the Src and Inc as separate directories with all the .c and .h files listed?

Hi,    I am trying to interface a graphical LCD (ST7567) with the STM32G0B1RCT6 using the U8g2 library and a software SPI interface. I have the U8g2 driver, but I don't know how to configure the ST7567 driver with the STM32G0B1RCT6. I will attach the graphical LCD ST7567. Can anyone help me?

in an STM32CubeIDE V1.17.0 project I add folders Application and Application/Src. I add Application/Src to the list of  source locations. I add a couple of new C++ template source files to the Application/Src folder. These compile OK.But why does the IDE show these files in two places and how can I stop or hide this behaviour?
