Hi, I am using STM32F103VG micro-controller. I am trying to program the memory in range 0x8014000 to 0x8090000. My code is able to program the memory till 0x807FFFF but after that it failed to write into memory i.e. problem happens after I start writing to bank2 once bank1 programming is finished.I am using STM32 HAL library to write to memory. If I directly write to bank2 memory area without first writing into bank1 memory area and then to bank2, it gets passed without any failure.

I tried to do following;Installed TouchGFX 4.12.3, CubeMX 5.4 and CubeIDE 1.1.0.Use any F7 Discovery board (No Nucleo board). I am using 32F746G-Disco and 32F769I-Disco.Start with CubeIDE1.1.0 and create a C++ project.Toggle (ON-OFF-ON) led LD1 every 5 seconds or any led of choice. This step is just to make sure everything is working properly, before using TouchGFX.Create a ON-OFF button on LCD using TouchGFX 4.12.3.Toggle the led LD1 now using ON-OFF button on the LCD screen of the Discovery board. That’s all so simple, but I can’t make it work on either Discovery board. In fact, I can't even make LED flash as in #4.ThanksKM

I'm trying to save the current selected page for a SwipeContainer in the tearDownScreen handler when a screen closes, so when that screen reopens the user is taken back to the same page they left it on.However, I can't seem to find a way to access what the currently selected page is for the SwipeContainer. I see there is a method to set the selected page. I also see that the widget maintains the CurrentPage internally. But, I can't seem to get access to it from the view.

Please any one help how to differentiate the system memory & flash memory in STM32MCUs, Whats the use of the both memory?Where we need to store the user code & where we need to store the customized setting? How to store FAT(File Allocation Table)? How we get the EEPROM in STM32MCUs, through which Emulating Software?

I'd like to discribe the devices which I try to demo my test.    nucleo-l053R8 ,plugged with X-NUCLEO-NFC04A1 (embed with st25dv)    ST25R3911B-Disco conneced with PC with the soft ST25R3911B Discovery GUI.    then ,I want to test receiving a file transmitted from the ST25R3911B Discovery GUI .When I read the documentation for ST25R3911B Discovery GUI,I learned that ST25R3911B Discovery GUI will first partition the hole file to some segment, and then add a header int each segment combined to form a message which is sended one by one.what puzzles me is that how ST25R3911B Discovery GUIget the fact the previous message has been read by the host and then it will transmit the next message?I think there is two possibilites:just tranmitted in some time after previous transmittming or poll the regist of ST25DV by sending relevant cmd to the ST25R3911B-Disco?Is it true.I need your help, thanks.

Hi, Can someone help me find the minimum voltage Vcc of stm32f103c8.Lowest voltage that will allow for maximum clocks frequency. And wont interfere with usb (pullups at data line to vcc). And adc.2.4 V is minimum when using adc. But will it run at max clocks at that voltage?

Hello, I have a stm32f769 discovery board and I run LCD_PicturesFromSDCard example from STM32Cube_FW_F7_V1.15.0.There is function for drawPixel that save RGB_code to hltdc.LayerCfg[ActiveLayer].FBStartAdress. I understand pixel color is saved to SDRAM via FMC interface. But how it's sended to LCD after that ? There is no configuration for LTDC to read from FMC. Also there is no DMA configuration for that. Maybe DSI interface have configuration for that ? I created project with the same configuration in CubeMX and it's works but I don't know why.Regards,Adrian

Hello,I am Sai hope you are doing well I am facing some issues with the timers .I am using stm32f4,f7 micro controller to pulse step input of stepper motor driver. I have configured my timer using HAL layer. i want sweep the frequency from 100hz to say 200khz at the rate of few milliseconds(12ms) .In my application peripherals are configured as tim3 as base timer and tim1 as output compare toggle mode(using it for step pulse) and at every timer 3 update event i am updating the period of timer1 in order to change the frequency(without knowing weather update event of tim1 occurred or not ). Everything is working as expected but most of the time my motor takes jerks i am assuming that multiple times updation of tim1 period creating some glitches in step pulse . I dont have any way to confirm. If i generate step pulse using GPIO in output mode then motor is accelerating smoothly without any **** but same thing i want to do using timer. Is it feasible to update the timer ARR value frequently

I accidentally overwrote the FW loaded by ST for P-L496G-CELL 02. So I cannot access the voucher code. Is there any way to retrieve the voucher code?

I cannot find the ??-> STM32F405Rx_User_Manual <-?? in the STM32F4xx_HAL_Driver package in the STM32Cube_FW_F4_V1.24.2 in my repository. Is it available? Also I would like one for the STM32F4 Discovery's 407VGT6 MCU as well, but the 405RGT6 would suffice.

Hi. I just bought an STLINK/V2 dongle, trying to install and debug an example project (SimpleLEDBlinkExample) on an STM8 MCU via its SWIM pin, working within the IAR Embedded Workbench. For the dongle, I installed the recommended USB driver and the current STLINK firmware upgrade. I plugged the dongle up to a USB port and its COM LED is on. In Windows Device Manager under 'Universal Serial Bus devices', the dongle shows up as 'STM32 STLink' and appears to be installed properly. First thing I notice is that the dongle's VDD pin has no voltage. Shouldn't it be putting out 3.3V (or perhaps the USB's 5V)? Attempting to execute Project>Download and Debug throws an error, but I assume I need to understand why there's no voltage from the dongle first.  What have I missed? Any suggestions? Thanks.

I'm using STM32F746G-DISCO Board. when i open the .ioc generated by he touchGfx on a new project on that board. the GRAPHICS periferla is not present, which was in previous release.Any way to re-enable that?

I am trying to communicate my Maple Mini clone board with PC without using a USART hardware. I've configured MCU with STM32Cube IDE which has STM32CubeMX in it. I've enabled USB hardware, set it to FS, set FS mode to CDC. After I flashed that firmware, when I plug board using a USB cable, there is no device shown on Device Manager.CDC_Transmit_FS functions returns 1 which I think corresponds to HAL_ERROR. I've set the CDC_SET_LINE_CODING in usbd_cdc_if.c as recommended in some other thread. I've tried another USB cable in case other one does not have working data bus. No matter what I've done, I could not get it working.I am using Windows 10 64 bit version. As I know, I should let Windows to take care of driver installation./* USER CODE BEGIN Header */ /** ****************************************************************************** * @file : main.c * @brief : Main program body ****************************************************************************** * @attention * * <h

Hello,in the last days I worked a lot with STM32CubeMX without any problems (STM32L432KC). I2C, SPI, UART and CAN work pretty well. Now, I try to configure a simple PWM timer. When I only activate a timer (lets say TIM15 / The behaviour is the same for other timers) and I just generate code the following line will be created in main.c.MX_TIM15_Init();This seems to be exactely the same like for all other peripherals... But when I compile the project, it says, that MX_TIM15_Init(); is not defined. An overall search confirms, that there is just a declaration in tim.h but no implementation. Can anyone reproduce this issue? Best regards!

I freshly installed STM32CubeIDE (with J-LINK and ST-LINK selected during install) and created a new projekt. When trying to create a debug configuration Segger J-LINK is not selectable as debug adapter - only ST-Link.Tried on Windows and Linux. Also tried to install Segger JLINK tools afterwards with no effect.Best,P

HelloI want to configure timer which increment count by every millisecondwhat are value of prescaller or other parameter should configure in it ?i am attaching you my clock configuration with this RCC->APB1ENR |= (1<<1); // Enable clock for TIM3 TIM3->PSC = 65535;  // Int clk divided by 1000(999+1)   // 2160000    // 65535 TIM3->EGR = TIM_EGR_UG; // Forcing to generate a update TIM3->ARR = 9999; // Counts from 0 to 7999 TIM3->CR1 = TIM_CR1_CEN; // timer start TIM_CR1_OPM I want that TIM3->CNT should increment by every millisecond

Hello, currently we are shifting to a stm32H7 MCU. When trying to setup a debug configuration, I can't select JLINK as a debug Probe. Is this a known problem?

I purchased a NUCLEO-G431KB to begin and test firmware development of my project, using the latest STM32CubeIDE with the STM32Cube_FW_G4_V1.1.0 library BSP.Following several USBPD library examples of a sink application -- and some considerable configuration to FreeRTOS and the initial STM32Cube-generated code -- I am able to build the firmware, flash the target, and debug via ST-Link running on the little NUCLEO device. I can verify the USBPD middleware thread and the TRACER_EMB utility thread are being created by FreeRTOS. But the main USBPD process that listens for USB Type-C cable attach/detach seems to hang and never return (and it never calls any of the installed callback functions). This function is part of the CAD module I believe and is named USBPD_CAD_Process(). Unfortunately this function is implemented in the library core USBPDCORE_PD3_FULL_CM4_wc32.a (binary distribution), so I don't have any visibility into why it is hanging or not calling my callback functions.

How to generate PWM so that the LED lights up for 5 seconds? Now, my LED is just blinking. I watched a lot of tutorials, but I don't know where I'm wrong. I need help...My code: #include "stm32f10x.h" #include "stm32f10x_gpio.h" #include "stm32f10x_rcc.h" #include "stm32f10x_tim.h"   #define Period 0xffff #define Pulse 0   int main() { RCC_APB2PeriphClockCmd(RCC_APB2Periph_GPIOB | RCC_APB2Periph_AFIO, ENABLE); RCC_APB1PeriphClockCmd(RCC_APB1Periph_TIM3, ENABLE);   //PB1 GPIO_InitTypeDef pwmGPIO; pwmGPIO.GPIO_Pin = GPIO_Pin_1; pwmGPIO.GPIO_Mode = GPIO_Mode_AF_PP; pwmGPIO.GPIO_Speed = GPIO_Speed_50MHz; GPIO_Init(GPIOB, &pwmGPIO);   // TIM3, channel 4 TIM_TimeBaseInitTypeDef pwm; TIM_OCInitTypeDef pwmOC;   pwm.TIM_Period = Period; pwm.TIM_Prescaler = (SystemCoreClock / 4800000) - 1; pwm.TIM_ClockDivision = 0; pwm.TIM_CounterMode = TIM_CounterMode_Up; TIM_TimeBaseInit(TIM3, &pwm);   pwmOC.TIM_OCMode = TIM_OCMode_PWM1;

I am working on STM32F103VBTx ADC. I am using HAL drivers. I dont find the setting where I can set the resolution. In old HAL drivers we had "hadc1.Init.Resolution = ADC_RESOLUTION_12B;" this field to set resolution. But in new drivers I dont find that field. By default it is 12bit , but hoe to set 10bit?? I have generated code from STM32CUBEMX. I am new to ADC. Can anyone help?

Hi? I set my ADC1&2 in simultanous mode. I write these 2 data halfword to 1 - 32 bit variable word. How can I divide this 32 bit variable into 2 separate variables? To get values of ADC1 and ADC2 separate?ADC is 12 bit.Thank You :)

Hi!I have a Nucleo F401RE that works great! But the problem I have is that the board cannot be call the function HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback after it has recieve its bytes.I have:Using DMAEnable global interuptUsing USART2Calling DMA inside HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback functionUsing STM32CubeIDE 1.1.0 and firwire 1.24.2I'm expecting a LED lamp to light up, the one in the function below. But it does not light up because the function won't be called, why?But when I try to send some bytes via CuteCom software, nothing happens. Here is a minimal C-code from me.This code waits until it have got 41 bytes, then this function will be called.void HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback(UART_HandleTypeDef *huart) {     HAL_GPIO_WritePin(Digital0_GPIO_Port, Digital0_Pin, 1); // If this method be called, then light up LED lamp     // Convert ADC values to   TXData[0] = (uint8_t) (ADCValues[0] >> 8);   TXData[1] = (uint8_t) (ADCValues[0] & 0xFF);   TXData[2] = (uint8_t) (AD

Is there touchGFX documentation in .pdf?

In my STM32H7 application I start a timer, stop it in an update interrupt handler (by setting ARR to 0), then when appropriate I set a new ARR value thus restarting the timer. This happens very frequently. During each such period I execute a number of compare interrupts. They happen say every 10 us. The timer prescaler is set so one timer count is one microsecond. I observe some jitter between the timer start and the first compare event time. I suspect a reason for this is that the timer doesn't really start from 0 (even if I write 0 to CNT after restarting the timer, just in case). My guess is then, that the prescaler counter, that counts the actual 240 cycles before incrementing CNT, doesn't get cleared when I stop or restart the timer, or when I clear CNT.Am I correct? And if so, is there a way to clear the prescaler counter so I'd be able to restart the timer from a REAL zero?
