Solved

I am doing a project on STM32F013C8T6 MCU Where i need some USB functionality.I am bit confused in many STM32 MCUs. So I need some suggestion. which one i should buy.My requirements are as following.1: My STM MCU should work as USB Host and Client.2: MY STM MCU should be capable to make composite USB device(1CDC + 2HID) or any other USB class. Note : I have successfully implement a project where keyboard+Mouse+Point of Scale are all together as custom HIDs on my STM32F103C8T6.Let me Know if you can help me in anyway or any Query about my Question. Thanks & Regards@Vivek Yadav

mode 1：SW pin short to GND or VDD，how to short ？connect direct or use resistance（what is the best value？）， internal swith will not workmode 2 ：SW pin NC or connect to VM，but the internal swith is working still。in high temperature ，High efficiency ，Long life condition，what is the best of two ？

When I tried to open my existing project for the first time in CubeMX 5.5.0, it gives me a pop up window (See attached)But I can't click the link that is refered in the window "Stm32cubemx_gfx_mw_migration) note.

I tested 2 sample with no connection of COMP2 with port pin PB4. If I set INPSEL to 01=PB6 or 11=PA3 the comperator works!   (INMSEL 0011= Vrefint)   The ST Support told me that a Nucleo-64 board (LQFP64 package) would work. For the QFP32 they dont' have a setup?! No answer from the support since weeks.   Have anyone a STM32G071KB to check this double?   There is also a second bug with COMP2 with port pin PB6 (INMSEL 0011= Vrefint). Interacted with TIM1 Channel "Input Capture direct mode from Remap -> COMP1_OUT"! The COMP2 works only independet if I use INPSEL = 11 (PA3).     Regards Stefan

RM0440 table 7, even in rev. 2, does not describe the flash layout of devices with less than 512 kB flash in dual bank mode.Is there a gap between the two banks is this case or not? The textual description doesn't even mention devices with less than 512 kB.And STM32Cube_FW_G4_V1.1.0 package doesn't contain any project/linker file for those devices either ...

In the while loop I have this:HAL_ADC_PollForConversion(&hadc1, 1000); adcValue = HAL_ADC_GetValue(&hadc1);The ADC works okay until I execute this line, which is inside a function:HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOB, GPIO_PIN_7, GPIO_PIN_SET); HAL_Delay(3000); command_dutyC = 0.5;This delay is used just once in the whole program, i .e, when the delay's completed, it won't execute more. The rest of the program continues working well after the delay, but the ADC gets stuck, it displays the same value all the time, even when the input is changing. This is my ADC init:static void MX_ADC1_Init(void) {   ADC_ChannelConfTypeDef sConfig;   /**Common config */ hadc1.Instance = ADC1; hadc1.Init.ClockPrescaler = ADC_CLOCK_ASYNC_DIV16; hadc1.Init.Resolution = ADC_RESOLUTION_12B; hadc1.Init.DataAlign = ADC_DATAALIGN_RIGHT; hadc1.Init.ScanConvMode = ADC_SCAN_DISABLE; hadc1.Init.EOCSelection = ADC_EOC_SEQ_CONV; hadc1.Init.LowPowerAutoWait = DISABLE; hadc1.Init.ContinuousConvMode = E

In the 'Check for Updates' portion of 'Help' there is a reference to updating the 'Available Software Sites preferences.' How do you set this to insure that the proper STM site is checked for updates?

hello,How can I get the flags from the DMA with HAL drivers. Like the LL comands e.g. LL_DMA_IsActiveFlag_HT5 for the half transfer flag of stream5.lg erik

I am debugging my software on STM32L452CCU6 and it is mostly in sleep mode. By default, this disables clocks to the debug port, and the debugger (using STMCube) prints out the message "Target is not responding, retrying...". After a couple of times, I lose the debugger.Setting the correct bits in DBGMCU keeps the clocks running in sleep mode so that debugging can continue. I am able to do this in my code, but I do not want to accidentally leave it in my compiled code as this could increase power consumption. How do I set DBGMCU using the debugger so that it is always set when I start to debug, but it is never part of my code?

When I generate code for the STM32h750 via cubeMX, I see in stm32h7xx_ll_delayblock.h:#if defined(HAL_SD_MODULE_ENABLED) || defined(HAL_QSPI_MODULE_ENABLED)I have QSPI enabled, but SD disabled, and the code following the #if is accounted for in the compilation, as expected. This code makes use of a const called DLYB_MAX_UNIT.The issue is that stm32h7xx_ll_delayblock.h, which contains the definition for DLYB_MAX_UNIT is never included when SD is disabled. This seems to be a bug either in the #if mentioned above (which should not contain the || defined(HAL_QSPI_MODULE_ENABLED)) or in the stm32h7xx_hal_qspi.h file, which does not include "stm32h7xx_ll_delayblock.h".Notice that if SD card is enabled, the code should compile because of the following lines in stm32h7xx_hal_sd.h:#if defined (DLYB_SDMMC1) || defined (DLYB_SDMMC2) || defined (DLYB_SDMMC3)#include "stm32h7xx_ll_delayblock.h"#endif /* (DLYB_SDMMC1) || (DLYB_SDMMC2) */My STM32H7 package is V1.5.0

Hi !I'm making a small project using Touchgfx and STM32F746.I want to add video playback but I can't find any examples or projects to reference.so, Can I get examples or projects of playing video using Touchgfx?(like MjpegReader in STM32H7Cube..)and Are there plans to add a video player widget in the Touchgfx designer?I look forward to your good response... :)

I downloaded the latest STM32CubeMX v5.4.0Under "Additional Software", TouchGFX v4.13.0 says that it is only compatible with STMCubeMX v5.5.0Where is STMCubeMX v5.5.0?...or...How do I get STM32CubeMX to download a version of TouchGFX that it is compatible with?Cheers,Murray

i want to generate sine wave pwm using advanced time1 of discovery board how can i do this?

Hi, This may be an easy thing to answer, but I haven't had much experience. I have a JSON message that I'm sending down to my F446RE board.I am using the HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback function, this works great, however, for this to work I need to know the length of the message, but I have 10 different messages that can be sent which vary in length. How can I handle this?

When trying to create a Debugger configuration for a project opened from sources + Makefile, STM32CubeIDE fails to create the configuration and shows the following error messages:" Not able to get board target."" An internal error has occurred. Update LCD"The project is using the STM32F405RGT6.How can I create this configuration and start debugging the project? Thanks

Hi,i just installed cubemx 5.5.0 to check if touchgfx handling is now better. to my surprise with the new version their is no touchgfx / graphics option to select. Then i found out, that under Help -> Manage embedded software packages i can install the TouchGFX Designer 4.13.0 My problem now: how can i use this software package with cubemx. I did not yet found anything in the new cubemx version to configure graphik libraries. (i want to use a stm32f429 disco board with touchscreen)would be great if anyone can help me.Regards

Hello,I am trying to add s RAM section at the end of the RAM to savesome data (states) between warm reboots, when the watchdog kicks due somewiring problems (i2c).I changed the ld file as:I reduced the stack -2kI reduced ram -2kI created a RAMAUX and afferent section./* LD file ... */ /* _estack = 0x20028000; -- taken out */ _estack = 0x20027800; /* new stack - 2K */   //... MEMORY { RAM (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x20000000, LENGTH = 158K /* was 160 now is - 2K */ FLASH (rx) : ORIGIN = 0x8000000, LENGTH = 512K AUXRAM (rx) : ORIGIN = 0x1FFFF800, LENGTH = 0x800 /* use 2 K */ }   /// then later on at the end.   .my_ram : { KEEP(*(.my_ram)) } > AUXRAM   /* Remove information from the standard libraries */    The program wont start. I hangs in the startup file here:The start hang here. Anything else I am missing.The intend is to access it in C likeuint32_t ram_end __attribute__((section (".my_ram"))) ;   static void* __attribute__((optimize("O0"))) _ram_st

I need to add functionality to some framework code (in this case, the painters). What is the best way to do this? I can think of couple of possibilities:Duplicate files I want to modify in the framework and add these new files along side the framework files. Then add these files whenever I get an update to the framework.Or would it be better to add this functionality into the "third party" section of the "Middlewares" folder?I'd appreciate any advice offered.

What's the anticipated availability of this part?

I have a board named NUCLEO-L552ZE-Q, but i can not use CubeMX to generate initial code, In CubeMX environment, STM32Cube_FW_L5_V0.7.0.zip can not be downloaded.

I'm layout a SDRAM to STM32F767. For convenience to layout the tracks, I want to rearrange the address and BAx lines as above. I've never done SDRAM with STM32, so I wonder if it will work well to do this? Thanks.
