Hi.I am developing an electronic lock using an STM32 L4 and a ST25R95 NFC transceiver.According to document "ST25_product_overview-July2018.pdf" ST25R95 is supposed to be a 230mW transceiver. I would like to know what reading distance I can reach between the reader and the tag, in centimeters? In my project, for security reason and in theory, my reader would work with a maximum distance of 15cm from the tag, better to not work with more than 15 to 20cm.Is it possible to make it work this way? it has a DPO...And also, is it easy to use an SMD inductor instead of copper traces around the board as antenna? From which values of inductors should I start? Can recommend a part number? 7mm height max for example.Consider that the antenna of the reader is placed inside a door lock, so there is a obstacle. My main doubt is if I can (or can't) select the output power of the reader via SPI registers.Regards.

According to this values on eDesign Suite:What would be the resistance of the entire trace, from one edge to other, in ohms? NXP calculator gave result as 2,05 ohms on their tool. But I am here to ask what would be the actual resistance of the antenna above? I need to know the resistance to calculate the EMI filter and coupling components. Can I rely on that 2,05 ohms value?Regards.

I made a simple test program, transmitting a string using stm32cubeide. If i switch to async mode it works. In Single Wire mode the output is not correct (invalid random chars). Testing LL does not help

I'm currently working with the Seed STM32MP1 SoM which has STPMIC1 attached to I2C2. I've been working on setting up a device tree for it, but I've been hitting some bugs. When booting the mainline ATF with my device tree (modified DK2 board, just with the PMIC on I2C2) it worked fine, but I wanted to use UART and the cube programmer so I did the same with the ST v2.2-stm32mp-r1 ATF branch. I hit this error:PANIC at PC : 0x2ffdd907   Exception mode=0x00000016 at: 0x0000d8c3I narrowed the issue down to a commit which disables clocks based on the boot mode. Hello everyone,I am new to the STM32 environment and I am trying to change the BOR level of STM32L452. I think I have corrupted the flash while trying to do this. And now when I try to reprogram the device it fails and gives the following error:Open On-Chip Debugger 0.10.0+dev-00021-g524e8c8 (2019-04-12-08:48)Licensed under GNU GPL v2For bug reports, readhttp://openocd.org/doc/doxygen/bugs.htmlsrst_only separate srst_nogate srst_open_drain connect_assert_srstInfo : The selected transport took over low-level target control. Hello Everyone,I have a Communication (UARTs) and DMA intense application running on stm32f439z. I am getting a strange Hardfault, not very rarely, I would say one per hour average, related to a wrong address access on the bus. Not happening always for the same address or same point of the code, however, the behavior is same, 1 bit is flipped or corrupted or changed somehow and getting a faulty bus access. For the example below, while it was trying to read from address 0x2000002c, the register( r3) content is somehow 0x2020002c and this address is out of bounds of course ( Ram end: 0x20030000)Could anyone have any guess about such a Fault? Could this be a Flash corruption or Flash-read error? Could this be related to a voltage/clock error? I am using internal 16MHz HSI RC, and system clock is 80 MHz. APB1 PCLK is 40MHz, APB2 PCLK is 80MHz.Hw is custom PCB, Vcc of MCU is 3v3.Any hint to go further debugging of such fault? The details of the debug of one example on STM32CubeIDE environm

On the ST web site, there are CubeIDE 1.3.0 and 1.4.0, but both have some issues with TouchGFX : the first one is too old for TouchGFX, and for the other, TouchGFX is too old.For more details and if I understood well : TouchGFX generate a CubeMX project that works with the version 5.6.1 of CubeMX. CubeIDE 1.3.0 is working with CubeMX 5.6.0.CubeIDE 1.4.0 is working with CubeMX 6.0.0.CubeIDE 1.3.1 is working with CubeMX 5.6.1.

Hi,I'm getting errors when building the latest kernel for Developer-Package's linux-5.4.31. (Please see error below). Anyone else successfully built this version?/Developer-Package/stm32mp1-openstlinux-5.4-dunfell-mp1-20-06-24/sources/arm-ostl-linux-gnueabi/linux-stm32mp-5.4.31-r0/linux-5.4.31/scripts/dtc/yamltree.c:9:10: fatal error: yaml.h: No such file or directory #include <yaml.h>

It also doesn’t erase after starting new debug session. Is that expected behavior? I am using STM32L476, and I downloaded X-CUBE-EEPROM software package, included it into my project and it works fine. EEPROM content is retained after NVIC_SystemReset() and after power up, which is great. But I want to start with clean EEPROM every time I flash new code or start a new debug session. In X-CUBE-EEPROM example code, in EE_Init() it calls EE_Format() if no active page is present, but it never goes there, except first time every EEPROM is initiated.I couldn’t find any way around this?Appreciate your help.

I accidentally connected 3.3v to the mki173v1 - could I damage it?

I have two questions about the STSPIN250:What is the overcurrent threshold? It's not listed anywhere in the datasheetAfter what interval is the overcurrent threshold triggered? The datasheet mentiones a Toff time, but that's for the PWM current control if I read it correctly.I did some tests myself, and I found out that above 2.5A the fault pin (so an overcurrent happened) is triggerd, while it's listed in the datasheet that it should handle 2.65A RMS. Am I measuring wrong or is something else not right?

Hello ; We need to drive a sensored (HALL) BLDC motor ; we need to decide STSPIN32F0 series but we confused which one is the best choice for use ; we need speed control using the hall sensores . Also when to use volt control mode and when current control mode , could you help please?Thank you inadvanced

Hi, I'm trying to use SPIN3201 to run a bldc motor and the maximum current rating of the motor that i want to use exceeds SPIN 3201 rating, although SPIN 3201 is rated for 15A i don't see whats capping the maximum rating as the MOSFETS are rated for 80 A. And what hardware modifications can i make to SPIN3201 to run a motor with 25A nominal current.

Control Board:NUCLEO-F303RE Power Board:NUCLEO-IHM07M1BLDC motor , encoderI'm working fine in position mode, but I switch to speed mode, and it doesn't work, and I'm still working in position mode,In the code, I'm trying to executeMC_ProgramSpeedRampMotor1 0 (600/6100);But it didn't work out, why??

I'm trying to make FreeRTOS application which is involving ADC and sending messages via virtual UART to Cortex A7. So I began with example called OpenAMP_FreeRTOS_echo in the cube fw version 1.2.0. That example worked good. I saw echo on /dev/ttyRPMSG0. Then I tried to incorporate ADC into that code but without success (I made succes with ADC + virtual UART without using FreeRTOS, but I want to make FreeRTOS working). I had a lot of trouble using System Workbench in terms of ST-Link detection (I always had to change COM port in the Debug Configuration) and I read on this forum that there were troubles in using FreeRTOS and those troubles are solved in Cube IDE 1.2.1. https://community.st.com/s/question/0D50X0000BI0vctSQB/freertos-does-not-run-on-stm32mp1-m4-coreSo I recently switched to Cube IDE v1.4.0, but there I have trouble on stopping on breakpoint. I placed break point on lines after main which must be executed (i.e. HAL_Init), but the debug is not stopped. Thanks in advance for t

Hello,I'm working with the NUCLEO-F722ZE EVB on STM32CubeIDE.I'm Looking for a C example that explains how to use the device's DAC (Digital to Analog Converter)

Hello, i am new for using STM32 cube ide. İ am following some online courses and when i was in debug part, i got this error : i looked some solutions on google but , i couldn't fix this. What should i do ??

I want to create to custom app for my acceleration sensor, and WB55-USB_Dongle have to receive the FFT data. Thanking in advance.

i am using stm32wb55 nueclo board, and i created a ble service for read, write and notify. In write and notify services i am able to send the data(20 bytes) to the client. but i want to send upto 100 bytes. How can i extend payload size?

I have a NUCLEO-L011K4 dev board, and unfortunately I can't get any of the sample programs to work. The board doesn't show up on the host machine. I'll walk you through the steps I tried on Windows, but I also on Mac and it didn't work there either:I downloaded and installed the ST-LINK USB drivers: https://www.st.com/en/development-tools/stsw-link009.htmlI downloaded and installed the Cube IDE: https://www.st.com/en/development-tools/stm32cubeide.htmlI confirmed the JP1 jumper is ONI plugged the board into the laptop via USB. LD1 flashes red, LD2 is on solid red, and LD3 is flashing greenIf I open Device Manager, no device shows up. Device Manager appears the same whether the board is plugged in or not. (On Mac, I checked System Information and again see the same problem - no device shows up)If I try to ignore that problem and launch Cube IDE anyway, I am able to compile a sample application, but I am not able to run it on the device. When I go to Run > Debug As > STM3

I am trying to migrate a project from IAR to STM32CubeIDE. In this project, I have two lines of code in the main (as global variables) that store the compilation date in the final binary file. These two lines are the following:char const compilation_date[] ={'<','c','>',__DATE__[0],__DATE__[1],__DATE__[2],__DATE__[3],__DATE__[4],__DATE__[5],__DATE__[6],__DATE__[7],__DATE__[8],__DATE__[9],__DATE__[10],'<','/','c','>'};   #pragma required=compilation_dateThe first line builds the compilation string date while the second tells to IAR compiler that, although the variable is not reference in the code, it must include it in the final binary. To migrate it to STM32CubeIDE (that uses gcc compiler) I need to use __attribute__((used)) instead of #pragma required=compilation_date. So, the ported lines of code arechar const compilation_month[] __attribute__((used)) ={'<','c','>',__DATE__[0],__DATE__[1],__DATE__[2],__DATE__[3],__DATE__[4],__DATE__[5],__DATE__[6],__DATE__[7],__
