Hello!I have these code to store/read data in the EEPROM of my STM32L031K6..The write function works, the data is saved in flash correctly...When i want to read the data back, i falling in the HardFault Handler.... :\This is my Code: eeprom.h#define EEPROM_BASE_ADDRESS 0x08080000UL   HAL_StatusTypeDef writeEEPROMByte(uint32_t address, uint8_t data) { HAL_StatusTypeDef status; uint32_t eepromAddress = address + EEPROM_BASE_ADDRESS; HAL_FLASHEx_DATAEEPROM_Unlock(); status = HAL_FLASHEx_DATAEEPROM_Program(TYPEPROGRAMDATA_BYTE, eepromAddress, data); HAL_FLASHEx_DATAEEPROM_Lock();   return status; }   uint8_t readEEPROMByte(uint32_t address) { uint8_t data = 0; uint32_t eepromAddress = address + EEPROM_BASE_ADDRESS; data = *(__IO uint32_t *)eepromAddress; return data; }i think, the convertion from uint32_t to uint8_t is wrong, but it works to write the data...

Hi. Is there a way for an STM8 MCU to determine programmatically if the SWIM interface / ICP / STVD debugger are being used? I've tried checking the SWD bit in CFG->GCR and SWIM->CSR. But neither byte seems to change from SWIM debugging to a power on restart. The reason I ask is because an area of data EEPROM memory is always being overwritten while debugging and evidently isn't while running without STVD.

In CubeIDE 1.4 in the graphical configurator, using a STM32F091, if you select the PA8 pin function as MCO,the generated code in main.c / GPIO init will configure the pin as AF0 with LOW speed.This should really be HIGH speed, it doesn't get any higher than the system clock frequency ;) And you won't see much on the scope with that limited analog bandwidth, when you configure this for the purpose of checking whether the MCU really runs at the desired clock speed.

Hi All,I use FreeRTOS and I try to use USART by interrupt. When I call xQueueSendFromISR my application hangs out. I've set full assert but it never reaches assert_failed or Error_Handler functions. I use NUCLEO-64 STM32F411RE board with 1.25.0 firmware package and STM32 CubeIDE 1.4.0. from Linux. Here is the interrupt code :void HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback(UART_HandleTypeDef *huart) { if (huart == &huart2) { sh_receive_complete(huart); return; } }   /** * receive completed interrupt function */ void sh_receive_complete(UART_HandleTypeDef *huart) { BaseType_t hptw = pdFALSE;   if (!(huart && huart == configuration->uart)) return;   xQueueSendFromISR(receive_queue, &receive_buffer, &hptw); HAL_UART_Receive_IT(configuration->uart, &receive_buffer, 1U); }when this code reached xQueueSendFromISR never come back. My FreeRTOS config params:#ifndef FREERTOS_CONFIG_H #define FREERTOS_CONFIG_H     /* Ensure definitions are only use

Im using a STM32L412KB for the first time and Im a little confused about the clock options. I can't seem to change the clock speed (input frequency) in cubeIDE, it's always stuck on 8MHz. However I notice there is an internal oscillator - does this mean I don't have to use an external crystal? This would be very good for my design, but I'm not sure - what are the disadvantages of using an internal oscillator?

Hello,I tried to port an TouchGFX-Application from ARM5-Compiler (ARMCC) to ARM6 (ARMCLANG). Both compilers are from KEIL (µVision).Well it does compile, but it doesn't link:Warning: L6869W: abstractpainter.o requested the Rogue Wave Standard C++ Library which has been removed from the product. This might cause link errors because libc++ is used instead.Error: L6242E: Cannot link object abstractshape.o as its attributes are incompatible with the image attributes.(There are a lot more linker errors)I do believe the provided TouchGFX-Library is not compatible with ARMCLANG (and there is no other library supplied in ...\TouchGFX\4.10.0\touchgfx\lib\core\cortex_m7\Keil)Is that the case, or did I miss something else?

In the datasheet of the STM32F765ZI and many other datasheets I have read, the specification value of hysteresis voltage between Schmitt trigger switching levels is missing. There is a comment (8) under the table (here table 66 I/O static charasteritics)  which should be the right comment, but the (8) was used in the row "I/O pin capacitence" where a capacity was specified and not the hysteresis voltage i search for.

HellloIs it possible to change the pin configuraion in stm32cubeide after code generation? no .ioc file is available from stm32cube.

As far as I read datasheet it says there is a support for that, but in STM32CubeIDE under FMC I cannot select NAND. There is simply no option for that. See attached file.

Hi, I'm trying to execute a default CubeMX project for STM32F407 Disco with FreeRTOS. However, when I debug, it crashes with Hard Fault Handler, at the point of this function:prvPortStartFirstTask();So I can't start the system. I don't know why, if it's all by default.

Hello,i want lis2hh12 to scan for x,y and z-value with 10Hz.When signals are ready i want to get a DRDY signal on INT2.When i read out the data via SPI the INT2 shall become low.My problem is that INT2 is high and it never goes low.My configuration:CTRL1 = 0x97CTRL2 = 0x00CTRL3 = 0x00CTRL4 = 0x06CTRL5 = 0x00CTRL6 = 0x01CTRL7 = 0x00Reading out of x,y and z values does work.Temperature does also work.Only the information via INT2 that data is ready does not work.I hope anyone can help.Thanks a lot,Holger

Hello,I am using STM32L073V8T .I am trying wake up from standby with WKUP1 pin. It is PA0. According to techinical documents, low to high transition should wake MCU from standby. But, It doesnt work in my case. Is there any special configuration what I missed ? Maybe a flag wich I shoud clean before standby ? Or GPIO configuration ? My sleep function :void wakeupWithPin(void){// __HAL_PWR_WakeUpPinCmd(ENABLE); dbg_printf("wakeup source is WKUP1 pin\n\r"); HAL_PWR_DisableWakeUpPin(PWR_WAKEUP_PIN1); __HAL_PWR_CLEAR_FLAG(PWR_FLAG_WU); HAL_PWR_EnableWakeUpPin(PWR_WAKEUP_PIN1);}void pwr_lowPowermode(void){ // RTC_AlarmConfig();// wakeupWithRTC(); wakeupWithPin();  dbg_printf("standby\n\r");   HAL_PWR_EnterSTANDBYMode();}Related GPIO configuration: GPIO_InitStruct.Pin = WakeUp_Pin; GPIO_InitStruct.Mode = GPIO_MODE_IT_RISING; GPIO_InitStruct.Pull = GPIO_NOPULL; HAL_GPIO_Init(WakeUp_GPIO_PORT, &GPIO_InitStruct);

Hello ST community,In LIS2DS12 application note, section 5.9.1, it is mentioned that the minimum threshold can be set where 1 LSB = FS/64. I would like to confirm if the value in this register has the unit of g. Also, if +- 2g is the selected full scale, 1 LSB in STEP_COUNTER_MINTHS is 2/64, right?Regards,Anusha

Hi,I want to design a combined USB<->RS485 converter cable based on the CDC profile with integrated charger detection. The MCU of my choice is the STM32F401CB. The release of battery charge is done by switching an overcurrent protection chip TCKE805NL. This chip only should be released if a charger or a charging downstream port is detected or if a standard downstream port was successfully set to a MaxPower of 500mA instead of 100mA.To detect all kinds of charger devices I use an additional BQ24392 charger detection chip.My problem now is, that the communication also should work on a standard downstream port with only 100mA granted current. In this case with deactivated battery charging.The Maxpower parameter in the configuration data is set to 0xFA (500mA). Im now afraid that if I try to connect to a port only able to deliver 100mA the enumeration and so the connection will be rejected by the host and I don't know a possibility to repeat the enumeration with a Maxpower reque

I'm trying to UART Transmission to computer using FTDI board with below [Environmets.]But it have a [problems] like below..Please, let me know the reasons and solutions..:sad_but_relieved_face: [Environments]MCU : STM32L432 Nucleo-32 boardFTDI Board : MIKROE USB UART Click BoardComputer Interface : watching a data using PuTTY on Window 10IDE : STM32CubeIDE workspace 1.4.0 MCU Pin/Clock Setting : Attached file(clock configuration), Attached file(pin setting)PuTTY Setting : Attached file(PuTTY Setting)[Problem]Problem : As you can see in the Attached file(prob), My computer cannot recieve data from Nucleo board.Self diagnosis : (1) Using Osilloscope, I checked the UART TX Signals to FTDI(Click) Board. Hi , My USART1 works fine when i send a character and i recieve a character in comport , but i need to also configure USART2 ,i have configured the apb1 register and also apb2enr for the GPIOA clock enable ,i know for the fact that the clock on apb1 register in 36Mhz if running core on 72Mhz,I did try to set the BRR register but not sure if its the correct hex value,I cant find the solution.I am recieving data on serial port but its garbage value and nothing else. basically im recieving the value and want to just throw it back to the comport.Please help me out .The code runs fine otherwise ,I think the problem is not being able to set the baud rate.Im using the stm32f1 series.Thanks, /* USER CODE BEGIN Header */ /** ****************************************************************************** * @file : main.c * @brief : Main program body ****************************************************************************** * @attention * * <h2><center>© Copyright (

I have an STM32MP1-DK2 and have tried to install pip using several python mechanisms, but there are missing modules. The notable ones that I found missing are runpy and xmlrpc. Even when I go into python and type help() it spits out an error about pydoc missing. All available python packages have been installed via apt-get install.I'm wondering do I have a bad image or is there a way to get these built-in packages?

I have successfully set up this timer to output one high pulse with following low state.However after finishing the period the output toggles to high until next activation.I need it to be low inbetween activations. How can this be achieved?I tried all combinations of PWM1 and PWM2 with high and low polarity.Delay->Pulse is no problem but Pulse->Pause always sets the Idle value wrong.

HiI am trying to get my ADC measurements of the interal chip temperature and data transfer to a global variable via DMA working properly. The ADC1 is triggered every second via timer 4. Configuration is stream0, channel channel 0. I do get several error bits in the DMA ISR:FEIFO (FIFO error interrupt flag)DMEIFO (Direct mode error interrupt flag)TCIFO (Stream transfer complete interrupt flag)I seem to misunderstand how I can have a stream complete flag set, but I cannot see the ADC value in the actual variable when using the watch window.Also, when leaving the DMA ISR, I monitor the ADC status register, and see the overrun flag being set meaning that there is data lost along the way. What am I missing here? :\Thank you./* * STM32F407 DMA setup * Uses internal temperature measurement and transfers data to SRAM via DMA */   #include "stm32f4xx.h" #include <stdio.h>   void funcADCInit(void); void funcGPIOInit(void); void funcTIM4Init(void); void funcISRInit(void); void

When I reimport the project from my PC or try to open it in the cloud. I have a short view to the design and next always the same question : "Sign in with your corportate ID" and then I can do nothing
