I would like to show a text from a .txt file (FatFs).The .txt file contains a log of the HMI, so it gets every time bigger.Is there any solution to show any dynamic text?I can do it with a wild card and set the buffer size very high. But someday the text from the file will get bigger then the wildcard buffer.RegardsDejan

I was wondering why the library function  LL_I2C_HandleTransfer is not available in th F4 LL library?

Ok, so I'm finding my way through STM32CubeIDE, MX and TouchGFX. I've read a lot, whatched videos and read tutorials. Cutting to the chase, I'm using a 747HDisc0 board, STM32CubeIDE v1.4.0 and TouchGFX 4.14.4. I'm obviously trying to use them together and, like many in the past, struggling to get going.I've created non-graphical projects in CubeIDE and successfully run them on the Disc0 board. I've created projects in TouchGFX and successfully run them on the Disc0 board.There isn't much that I can find on the latest releases, but plenty on IDE 1.2 and TouchGFX5.5. The main advice seems to be: Create an app in TouchGFX, generate the code and import the resulting .ioc into CubeIDE.Two issues:I don't see an .ioc file when I generate code from TouchGFX.If I open CubeMX > Software Packs > Select Components, X-Cube TouchGFX 4.14.0 has no download option (although I have it installed) and states that 'This pack cannot be used on the selected processor", and the 'generator' option is gr

I have PWM setup on my STM32L412, but there is no output on the pins. I move a value to CCR1, CCR2, CCR3 but there is no output. I'm using cubeIDE to generate the HAL setup, but I notice that the timers aren't enabled, but this isn't the solution - even if I set this bit there is still no output. Can anyone help? The HAL setup is belowstatic void MX_TIM1_Init(void) {   TIM_ClockConfigTypeDef sClockSourceConfig = {0}; TIM_SlaveConfigTypeDef sSlaveConfig = {0}; TIM_MasterConfigTypeDef sMasterConfig = {0}; TIM_OC_InitTypeDef sConfigOC = {0}; TIM_BreakDeadTimeConfigTypeDef sBreakDeadTimeConfig = {0};   htim1.Instance = TIM1; htim1.Init.Prescaler = 0; htim1.Init.CounterMode = TIM_COUNTERMODE_UP; htim1.Init.Period = 0; htim1.Init.ClockDivision = TIM_CLOCKDIVISION_DIV1; htim1.Init.RepetitionCounter = 0; htim1.Init.AutoReloadPreload = TIM_AUTORELOAD_PRELOAD_DISABLE; if (HAL_TIM_Base_Init(&htim1) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } sClockSourceConfig.ClockSource = TIM

Hi guys,I am using an stm32L552ZE with an NX2016SA-24MHZ-EXS00A-CS10820 oscilattor. Everithing runs as expected until i get to HSERDY waiting. I get a timeout at this part. For startup I am not running a cutom code and the HSE on code is:SET_BIT(RCC->AHB2ENR,RCC_AHB2ENR_GPIOCEN);SET_BIT(RCC->AHB2ENR,RCC_AHB2ENR_GPIOHEN);SET_BIT(RCC->CR, RCC_CR_HSEON);tickstart = GetTick_ms();  while (READ_BIT(RCC->CR, RCC_CR_HSERDY) == 0U)   {    if ((GetTick_ms() - tickstart) > HSE_TIMEOUT_VALUE)      { /*This is done to turn on a led when i get a timeout*/           SET_BIT(RCC->AHB2ENR,RCC_AHB2ENR_GPIOEEN);            MODIFY_REG(GPIOE->OTYPER, (0x01<<7), 0x00000000);            MODIFY_REG(GPIOE->PUPDR, (GPIO_PUPDR_PUPD0 <<

Hello Everyone,We are working on STM32F413RH. We are storing sum data into internal flash at some interval of time. Simple mechanism is used, first we are erasing sector and then we are writing our data into internal flash.But when we are erasing chip via ST link utility and try to store our data, we are getting hard-fault.Please help us regarding the same.Thanks and RegardsMilan

This module is advertised in manuals to several ST development boards, e.g. the 'F413 Disco.Why is there no product folder for this module?JW

Hello,I want to use multiple uart to communicate this board to pc. I have successfully established connection between uart1 and pc using only rx and tx pins of uart1 (no handshaking and no dtr/rts pins) using ft232 converter. But this connection only works if somehow manually rts and dtr pins wakes up the board. Can any one tell me how to disable this rts/dtr pin wake up so that board can communicate to pc using only rx/tx. Further more this uart1 pins will be connected to some other communication interface like wifi/lan etc that only have rx and tx. @Nick K Kindly help or any other member kindly help.Thank You

In STM32F098CC/RC/VC pin definitionsit is saying that PB4 has USART5_RX for LQFP48 but when i looked at PB4 AF's in Table 13. I would like to achieve scrolling to the left on an item in the scroll list will reveal a set of buttons that can perform some operations on the item. As you can see on iOS.The scrollable container dosen't seem to receive horizontal scroll.Is there any fix or is it not possible?

UM1725, the HAL User Manual, mentions the function HAL_RTC_SetWakeUpTimer() in one place in passing, and nowhere is it described.Where are the doc's for this function (and related)?Thanks,Dave

Hello! Hi all.The en.MB1272-DK2-C01_Schematic.pdf states thatARD_A0 : PF14 -> ADC1_IN0ARD_A1 : PF13 -> ADC1_IN1ARD_A2 : ANA0 -> ADC2_IN6ARD_A3 : ANA1 -> ADC2_IN2I've spend quite some time to figure out that this is wrong and the correct pinout is:ARD_A0 : PF14 -> ADC2_IN6ARD_A1 : PF13 -> ADC2_IN2ARD_A2 : ANA0 -> ADC1_IN0ARD_A3 : ANA1 -> ADC1_IN1Can you please verify and if it's so then update the pdf?Regards.

I need to generate an interrupt if a low level is hold more than specifical time.I wanna achieve that executing Timer reset and start counting on failing edge, stop on rasing edge, if the duration is larger a compare register, a interrupt generated and then handle it.Could I achieve that by only configuring the Timer and without CPU or DMA cycle?

Hello, there,I need CRC8 in my design. Thinking with the Polynomial programmability in Stm32G4 . It should be straight forward.When I tried to test with the example "CRC_UserDefinedPolynomial" coming with stm32cube_fw_g4_v130 in "Examples_LL" folder, the result (0xA6) matches the "expected value" set in the code.However, when the same group of the data is tested with other CRC calculator for Poly 0x9B, eg. https://crccalc.com/, the result is 0x88 instead of 0xA6. Then I tried another example (different data set 0x1, 0x2, 0x3, 0x4) with HAL, the result doesn't match either. The CRC hardware is a blackbox so I couldn't figure it out why. Is there anyone having running into similar issue and knowing the cause of the mismatch? I would like to appreciate any inputs.Thanks.

I'm sending and trying to receive 5 bytes. If I run the peripheral at 3MHz all is well. If I run at 6MHz I miss receive bytes. If I break and inspect hspi4.RxXferSize I can see this will be stuck at 2. The TxXferCount has counted down to 0, and so there are no more clocks being sent to collect any further received bytes. So we become stuck with hspi->State = HAL_SPI_STATE_BUSY_TX_RXI've looked at the errata and can't find details of an issue like this. The datasheet claims 50Mb/s and obviously I'm nowhere near this.This is reliable and repeatable. Run at 3MHz and all works, 6MHz and it doesn't. Is this a bug in the libraries or just me? I'm conscious I am a little sparse on details but I was wondering if anyone had some insight?

Hello everyone,I'm in the community and I started to study the STM32H7 microcontroller familly and the TOUCHGFX. After reading a few post here i discovered that there are some microcontroller the are not suppported by the TOUCHGFX enginne (apparently all the DUAL CORE MCU). If so, I would like to confirme if the STM32H743IIT6 if supported by the TOUCHGFX.Bruno

Dear Community,When I try to do some basic configuration of LCD with 769i disco, I see synchronization problems, that I could not proper image (attached image). LCD is dedicated B-LCD40-DSI1 board.Code looks like this: BSP_LCD_Init(); BSP_LCD_LayerDefaultInit(0, LCD_FB_START_ADDRESS); /* Enable the LCD */ BSP_LCD_DisplayOn(); /* Select the LCD Background Layer */ BSP_LCD_SelectLayer(0); /* Clear the Background Layer */ BSP_LCD_Clear(LCD_COLOR_BLACK); /* Some sign */ BSP_LCD_DrawPixel(400,0,LCD_COLOR_WHITE); BSP_LCD_SetTextColor(LCD_COLOR_BLUE); BSP_LCD_SetFont(&Font12); BSP_LCD_DisplayStringAt(0, 0, (uint8_t*) "Hello world!", CENTER_MODE); I thought it might be some configuration issue, but i saw in driver, that I try to use, clocks are already setup: stm32f769i_discovery_lcd.cIn siimilar way i try to use DSI to HDMI interface with ADV7533 and define USE_LCD_HDMI with similar results.In STM32CubeMx I generate def

I am trying to develop a custom boot-loader on Nucleo-H743ZI2 evaluation board. But the boot-loader is not jumping to application code. I had referred to the other posts regarding the topic and adopted some code from those also. I had flashed the codes of application and boot-loader to the respective memory locations at 0x8020000 and 0x8000000.Please do point me to the problem in the code provided.

HiOut of the Box, there is a luxury firmware on board running, with many Sensors shown in the BLE App.But after flashing other example Projects, there is no code or binary file with the initial firmware.Where to get this?Greetings

Dear community,I am programming an ST32F407VE for the first time (I don't use the Cube32IDE though). First, I made an on board LED blink, so I am pretty certain that my toolchain and framework work properly. In the next step, I wanted to implement a low-power IrDA interface.However, if I try to write to the registers of USART6 (see code below), according to my debugging tool, these registers don't change at all. They simply keep their reset state. Other registers like the Rx and GPIO registers do change according to my code. #include "irda.h" #include "Arduino.h" #include "stm32f4xx.h"   static char irda_initialized = 0;   void initIrDA(void) { if (!irda_initialized) { USART6->GTPR |= (1<<USART_GTPR_PSC_Pos); USART6->CR1 |= (1<<USART_CR1_UE_Pos); /* USART6->CR1 |= (1<<USART_CR1_UE_Pos) // Enable USART | (1<<USART_CR1_PEIE_Pos) // Enable Interrupts for parity errors | (1<<USART_CR1_IDLEIE_Pos) // Enable Interrupt
