Ahoy ST,1) I read a press release ( https://www.st.com/content/st_com/en/about/media-center/press-item.html/n3798.html ) that says there are Apple HomeKit solutions available, but I cannot find them. Where are they?2) NXP and Microchip advertise Apple HomeKit SDK's ( https://www.nxp.com/support/developer-resources/run-time-software/nxp-software-development-kit-sdk-for-homekit-accessories:HOMEKIT-SDK , https://www.microchip.com/promo/homekit ), will ST be releasing one as well? Perhaps the answer to question 1 is the answer here as well. Anchors away,CL

Does stm32wb support homekit?

I read the datasheet, a = device generation a, but I don't know what the difference is. Can you explain it in detail?

HiWhat is the difference between the Click, Touch, Toggle buttons?Andrzej

Hi,I was wondering if we can use the ST25R3916 or 3917 with two antenna. We connect one on the output/input of the RFO1/RFI1 and the other on the RF02/RFI2. Is that something possible ? I can't seem to find my answer in the datasheet.Also, I want to know what is the major difference between 3916 and 3917, as they have the same datasheet.Thanks !

What is the maximum power that i can use? Which pin can i use to feed the board with external power? What is the max power that is transmitted to the RF circuit of the board? Which are the limitations in power?

I have concern on the usage of malloc() in the generated USB Host MSC library.In file usbh_msc.c, take a look at the usage of USBH_malloc)_:static USBH_StatusTypeDef USBH_MSC_InterfaceInit(USBH_HandleTypeDef *phost) { ............. MSC_HandleTypeDef *MSC_Handle; ......... phost->pActiveClass->pData = (MSC_HandleTypeDef *)USBH_malloc(sizeof(MSC_HandleTypeDef)); MSC_Handle = (MSC_HandleTypeDef *) phost->pActiveClass->pData;   if (MSC_Handle == NULL) { USBH_DbgLog("Cannot allocate memory for MSC Handle"); return USBH_FAIL; } }where it is defined as following on usbh_conf.h:/** Alias for memory allocation. */ #define USBH_malloc mallocMy questions:Why it uses dynamic location malloc()? To my understanding for real time application this is risky.Why currently the malloc() return NULL memory allocation? I have defined my heap size 0x2000 in the CubeMX project config which should suffice to serve the requsted 256 byte (i.e. sizeof(MSC_HandleTypeDef)).Why in the code

I'm working with STM32F479ZG and ZI both have working ethernet.In the lastest CubeMX 5.1.0 it shows that those MCUs are not supporting ethernet.Is there a work around for this issue?

Also, while the MB1137 version allows the embedded STM32 chip to be programmed through the STM32 STLink-Utility software, it appears that the MB1364 version requires an additional hardware device known as the STLink-V3E. Can anyone verify? If not, what software will be required for the programming of the embedded STM32 chip on the MB1364 version? Much help will be appreciated, thank you!

Hi,I currently have a STM32L4R9VI (that contains the DFSDM + DMA) and I am planning to sample an IF signal ( up to 10 MHz frequency) using an external Sigma Delta Modulator AMC1305M05 (20Msps - 20 MHz frequency - 16 bits resolution). I am not an expert in DFSDM so I would like to know if and how it's possible to get 1 sample per clock edge (16 bits) in a single line.Thanks in advance,

Hello,I have a problem with the bluenrg-2. I'm using a STEVAL-IDB008V2.I measured the current while in different sleep state and here are the results :CPU-HALT : 1.6 mAWAKETIMER : 1.9 mANOTIMER : some nA.The problem is that I'm supposed to have some µA in WAKETIMER but I have more than in CPU-HALT.I found that I'm around 1.6 mA when I'm in the BlueNRG_Sleep() function until the 4 last lines of the function CS_contextSave().I tried with the simpliest code possible but I still have the problem.Any idea ?

Hi, I did some power measurements with a Joulescope which measures the full power given to the card (no distinction between VDD, VDDCORE, etc.) - we chose this way for first measurements without card's resistors modification.I mostly followed the same steps as explained in the AN5284 application note.For point 3.1 with CoreMark, I've same iterations per seconds and a much higher power measurement which is normal as I measure the full system. But the difference between 1 or 2 core is the same as in the document.For point 3.3 with data acquisition : Here again, I have higher power measurement but it's still consistent as the ratio of power reduction is the same than in theorie.Then I was interested in point 4.3 (various low power modes) but I did get results I don't understand. Know that I changed the /etc/systemd/sleep.conf as explained here and used the systemctl suspend commend for MPU.When the card is idle (just powered on, but no program running) : 3060 mW When the card do a fo

I need an NFC module that reads data from NTAG216 cards and also supports Android and IOS phones that send NDEF message from the phone to the NFC module. STM has many variants and models for NFC . I am totally confused and dont know where to start. Can someone help me find a good NFC module as per my requirement.Thanks in advance

When the installation comes to the 7th step, it does not do anything, it wants me to exit the installation. When I looked at the directory where the program should be installed, there is no exe file.

Interfaced i2c_lcd with stm32f401re and try to program without any library .but getting junk data always,tried changing delay but same. void I2C_WriteData(uint32_t data){ uint8_t data1=0,data2=0,data3=0,data4=0;   data1= data & 0x000000ff;  data2= (data & 0x0000ff00)>>8;  data3= (data & 0x00ff0000)>>16;  data4= (data & 0xff000000)>>24;  uart_printf("The data1 is %x :\n",data1);  uart_printf("The data2 is %x :\n",data2);  uart_printf("The data3 is %x :\n",data3);  uart_printf("The data4 is %x :\n\n\n",data4);  delay(100);  while(!(I2C1->SR1 & (1<<7))) ;/* Wait for Bit 7 TxE: Data register empty */  I2C1->DR=data1;  while(!(I2C1->SR1 & (1<<2)));/*Wait for the byte Tranfer */  while(!(I2C1->SR2 & (1<<1)));/**Wait for busy flag*/  delay(10);  while(!(I2C1-&g

Started today with my STEVAL-STWINKT1B, with default firmware and an outdated version of ST BLE Sensor app.I was happy, the app connected and I was able to do a first trial, gather some data and export the data as csv by email.After that, I did an update of the app to the latest version. After starting the app, it told me to upgrade my STWINKT1 and I did so.Now I ended up, that the app can detect the board, but neither the clear logs, nor the export logs buttons in the App work.Nothing happens, when I press the buttons.What to do?Best wishes,Steve

Hi All,To get around a problem I was having with timer capture using DMA (another topic) I changed my timer code to use interrupts. The seems to work when I debug step through it but not when I run. I am using TIM8 in input capture mode for CH1 and CH3. Here is the IRQ:void HAL_TIM_IC_CaptureCallback(TIM_HandleTypeDef* htim) { if( htim->Instance == TIM8) // 1190 ------ bp#1 { // Check if/which capture flag is set // read CC register & store value in buffer1 or buffer2 // clear flag CCIF // process result if(__HAL_TIM_GET_FLAG(htim, TIM_SR_CC1IF) != RESET) // 1196 bp#2 { __HAL_TIM_CLEAR_IT(htim, TIM_DIER_CC1IE); // 1198 buffer1[0] = htim->Instance->CCR1; g_nFrefSignal = !g_nFrefSignal ; } if(__HAL_TIM_GET_FLAG(htim, TIM_SR_CC3IF) != RESET) // 1202 ----- bp#3 { __HAL_TIM_CLEAR_IT(htim, TIM_DIER_CC3IE); buffer2[0] = htim->Instance->CCR3 ; } } If I only enable break point #2 or #3 the break points DO NOT get hit. If I

The STM32H743 datasheet says nothing about clocking the timers. Reference manual has a chapter dedicated to each timer's counter clocking. For each type of timer the only clock is so called "Internal Clock" CK_INT . What is it? Opened my project's CubeMX Clock Configuration and I don't find such label there. Trying to guess which clock could be used to run timers, I'd assume one of those: APB1 Timer clocks or APB2 timer clocks .But again - which one is that mysterious CK_INT from the reference manual ? And is it one for all timers or are they using different clock sources?Please help to understand this.

Hi Everyone,Hope you are doing well.I am not able to connect my new custom board based on STM32H743BI with STM32CubeProgrammer using STLINK-V3SET. and get the "Error: No STM32 target found" when i try to connect.As suggested in different threads i have confirmed the following:Reset is pulled highBoot0 is pulled lowVDD is stable at 3..28V at all desired pins of the board VCAP 1&2 connected to 2.2uF capacitors showing voltage of 1.01V.VDDA is 3.28V, VSSA is Grounded, I am using a 10 pin SWD connector.The Circuit diagram is shown belowThanks,

I'm starting a new STM32H7A3 project in STM32CubeIDE. I've got the peripherals assigned and would like to understand more precisely how each peripheral and things like CPU frequency affects current draw. When I first click on the Tools tab without changing any of the default settings, the run step current in 69.9 mA. If I drag the CPU Frequency slider from the default setting of 280 MHz to 90 MHz, I get a run step current of 7.9 mA. That's a decrease in current of almost 9X for a decrease in CPU frequency of about 3X. Seems like power should scale roughly linearly with clock frequency. And then when I drag the CPU frequency slider back up to 280 MHz, the run step current is 26.5 mA which is roughly 3X the 90 MHz value, about what I'd expect. I'm guessing the initial 69.9 mA value is just wrong but I could use some confirmation before I spin up a board.
