Hello ST community,I am interested in measuring the acceleration with two LIS2DS12 sensors at the same time. Therefore, I start the measurement (nearly at the same time) with a sampling frequency of 800Hz for 10 seconds with +-2g full scale range for both sensors. The test case is the following. Both sensors lie on the table and I apply slight shocks at the table. My expected result is seeing the vibrations at the sensor data at the same time at both sensors. Maybe there is an offset between the two sensors due to an inaccuracy at starting both at the same time. But this offset should remain constant over the 10 seconds measurement time.As you can see in the attached picture (measurement.png), I succecfully measured the vibrations with both sensors. There is also the offset due to the inaccuracy in starting both sensors at the same time. But if we take a closer look the offset will not remain constant. It shifts. Picture first_shock.png as the name says, shows the first shock of the me

I was taking a look at this repository to get a bit used with the lis2dw12 accelerometer. Trying to use the Activity example I've got the expected results but got a bit confused with the routing of the detection to the interrupt pin. From line 185 on it does the following: /* Enable activity detection interrupt */ lis2dw12_pin_int1_route_get(&dev_ctx, &int_route.ctrl4_int1_pad_ctrl); int_route.ctrl4_int1_pad_ctrl.int1_wu = PROPERTY_ENABLE; lis2dw12_pin_int1_route_set(&dev_ctx, &int_route.ctrl4_int1_pad_ctrl);What is the difference between "lis2dw12_pin_int1_route_get" and "lis2dw12_pin_int1_route_set". In my understanting this part of the code is just routing the Wake up bit to the Ctrl4_Int1_pad_ctrl but what is the "route_get" command doing?Looking inside the function it only reads the current state of the register, is there any particular reason for this?int32_t lis2dw12_pin_int1_route_get(stmdev_ctx_t *ctx, lis2dw12_ctrl4_int1_pad_ctrl_t *val) { int32_t ret; r

When I use stm32cubemx to configure FMC Nor Flash, I can only configure Timing with Address setup time in HCLK clock cycles/Data setup time in HCLK clock cycles and Bus turn around time in HCLK clock cycles, but I think it should have more settings to configure, like BusTurnAroundDuration and CLKDivision and so on

HiI have Implemented lib_NDEF for st25dv04k and was able to store the ndef format, I can read it with my phone. But with my custom which uses st25r95 I m not able!I m able to read the ndef format from a different tag st25ta (ISO/IEC 14443 Type A) from the documentation I have Implanted the reading command!What are the commands need to be send to read the ndef format or a block of emmory for ST25TV(ISO/IEC 15693 type V) seems not the same as for A type. I find some document , trying to implemet reading a single block but nothing.ThanksReg suads

I've designed a board with a stm32F302C8T6 but the MCU dosent show up on windows. I didn't have a pull up resistor on D+. Could it cause that problem or the pull up isint mandaatory?

Posted on April 19, 2018 at 20:16Hi,Where is the STM32H7 DMA request mapping table documented ? we want to use DMA on USART1 RX and TX.In STm32Cube for STM32H7, example UART_HyperTerminal_DMA , the DMA mappings are:/* Definition for USARTx's DMA */&sharpdefine USARTx_TX_DMA_STREAM DMA1_Stream7&sharpdefine USARTx_RX_DMA_STREAM DMA1_Stream5These mappings are different from the ones defined in Table 1 of AN4031 - Using STM32xx .. series DMA controller?ThanksVivek#stm32h7

I can manually start Tera Term and connect Serially, but I cannot find how to do this from within the IDE. Is this possible? Maybe a project option that needs enabled? Using STM32CubeIDE 1.6Thanks

Hi,I am quite new in this MCU world and I bougth a BluePill board (STM32F103C8T6) to start doing the basics and learn.At first I tried to use the IAR Embedded IDE to program the board but when I tried to debug the following error appears.Then I tried to use the STM32CubeIDE and I've got the same problem.When I connect the board with the USB to the computer, I look for it at the "Device Manager" window but it doesn't appear. I already downloaded the drivers for this board but it is still not being detected. I am out of options on what to try.

Hello, can someone help me on the current question already posted :I have a custom container common to several screen (with OK button in it).How can i call a callback of the current screen when a button is pressed in the container ?I do call the callback of the custom containe, but don't know how to propagate it to the current view.(for example when OK button is pressed i want to execute the action in each view containing this custom container)I there an example of this ?thanksregards

Hello, I would like to replace STM32L072CBT with STM32L4Q5 in my development. I found that there is: STM32L4Q5CGT6P and STM32L4Q5CGT6. Unfortunately I can't find a data sheet for STM32L4Q5CGT6P. In the CubeMX I see that PIN46 and PIN22 with VDD12 are connected. Where can I find data sheet for STM32L4Q5CGT6P? On the website there is only for STM32L4Q5CGT6. Many Thanks.

I found a zip file on the Evaluation board with STM32F756NG MCU web page name “STM32756G-EVAL compiled demo binary 1.0?，downloaded and unzip it. But it just some media files such as audio vedio picture and music. It has nothing about compiled binary file?Then I turn to CubeMX software and find an example about STemWin. It saids that it was the demo example on the  STM32756G EVAL board. I open and transfer it into MDK project,then compile it. I found an readme.txt .It said "Use "STM32CubeDemo_STM327x6G-EVAL_VX.Y.Z.hex" file provided under Binary with STM32 ST-Link Utility to program both internal Flash and external NOR memory".I do install ST-Link Utility ,but can not find such a file in my PC!Can anyone help to solve this problem?Thank you!

it just gets stuck on this screen forever.

I know that  I-CUBE-LRWAN v2.0.0 is now available, but there are still tutorials, etc, referring to the old version.The 'Debug' configuration builds OK, but the 'Release' fails with:make: *** No rule to make target '../STM32L072CZTx_FLASH.ld', needed by 'mlm32l07x01.elf'. Stop.The problem is that there is, indeed, no such file as STM32L072CZTx_FLASH.ld - only STM32L072CZYx_FLASH.ldThe 'Debug' build uses STM32L072CZYx_FLASH.ld - hence it succeeds.

Hello everyone,I'm using the STM32H743 and I would like to implement two SPI communications with DMA (SPI1 & SPI2). I followed the example provided with my Nucleo board which is working perfectly when I'm only using SPI1 but when I add SPI2 initialisation (by copying and modifying the code for SPI2), SPI1 does not work anymore (SPI2 never worked yet).It seems that is coming from the initalisation of the DMA with SPI2 because when I remove that part, SPI1 is working as expected.Before focusing on that issue, I have a little question about the initialisation.In the example code, the initialisation is done in a similar way in the main : SpiHandle.Instance = SPI1; SpiHandle.Init.BaudRatePrescaler = SPI_BAUDRATEPRESCALER_256;Can this code be replaced by something like this ?void SPI_Init(SPI_HandleTypeDef *hspi) { if (hspi->Instance == SPI1) // SPI1 { hspi->Init.BaudRatePrescaler = SPI_BAUDRATEPRESCALER_256;and called in the main like this ?SpiHandle.Instance = SPI1; SPI_In

I have an STM32L432KB that I'm trying to use with STM32CubeIDE and an ST-LINK v3. It is on a small board, and the onboard hardware peripherals connected to the MCU are:   USB-C connector to dedicated USB pins.   Quad-SPI flash storage chip   I2S audio chipThe debugger is connected to:   Vcc   GND   RST   SWCLK   SWDIOI haven't tried to see if the peripherals work yet because I'm just trying to get it debugging reliably. About 1 time out of 10 tries, it will break on main correctly, allow me to step through for a while, then usually will lose connection. When it loses connection, it usually loses it aroundMX_USB_DEVICE_Init();or sometimesSystemClock_Config();The other 9 out of 10 times, it does not break at all. When this happens, the IDE automatically opens a tab right after debugging begins and switches to the file calledstartup_stm32l432kbux.sbut it does not break o

ST25R3911B, using the ST25RFAL001 and the NDEF library v1.0.4. I'm using the read example found in the ndef.chm file. It's detecting the card fine, but ndefPollerNdefDetect() is returning 0x5 (invalid request or requested function can't be executed at this time). Every very rare once in a while I'll get the same return code from ndefPollerReadRawMessage() so I know I'm close.The software loop is very small. It is being called in an endless loop with HAL_Delay(1), so it runs every 1msec.int nfc_loop(void) { uint32_t now; static uint32_t next_tick; rfalNfcState nfc_state; static uint8_t buf[256]; int err, nread;   rfalNfcWorker(); now = HAL_GetTick(); nfc_state = rfalNfcGetState();   if (rfalNfcIsDevActivated(nfc_state)) { rfalNfcDevice *nfcDevice;   rfalNfcGetActiveDevice(&nfcDevice); if ((err = ndefPollerContextInitialization(&ndefCtx, nfcDevice)) != ERR_NONE) { platformLog("ndefPollerContextInitialization returned (%d)\n", err); return; }
