Hello community,I'm actually working on an NFC application using m24lr04e. I use hal_i2c_mem_read/write to read and write data to eeprom. I'm able to read and write user memory area. but for system memory i can only read it. I'm not able to change sector security status for RF, but i can read them. I don't know what might be the issue. Please help me.thanks!!

Hello,Im just starting with the nucleo board STM32L476RG using mac (10.13.6) and cube IDE 1.6.1. I also updated the firmware on the ST-link to the newest one when prompted.For the very first program I just wanted to make it blink to see if it works, so I created a project according to the tutorials, added: HAL_GPIO_TogglePin(GPIOA, GPIO_PIN_5);  HAL_Delay(1000);to the while (1) loop (user code begin 3) in the main and set LD2 pin as output in the pinout view.Building is without a problem:12:11:40 **** Incremental Build of configuration Debug for project first_blinking_LED ****make -j3 all arm-none-eabi-size  first_blinking_LED.elf   text  data   bss   dec   hex filename 12036   20  1700  13756  35bc first_blinking_LED.elfFinished building: default.size.stdout12:11:41 Build Finished. 0 errors, 0 warnings. (took 221ms)But when I hit Run main I get (onboard LD1 blinking red and green):S

I'm using a X-NUCLEO-BNRG2A1 shield on a NUCLEO-L476RG board.I am able to advertise 16-bits and 32-bits services using aci_gap_update_adv_data(), but trying with a 128-bits service always ends up with a "BAD PARAMETER" error. What am I missing? (I'm calling aci_gap_update_adv_data() with a single AD_TYPE_128_BIT_SERV_UUID_CMPLT_LIST command).

Hi,I was able to generate code for an STM32G474 with Matlab/Simulink 2020b. After an update to Matlab/Simulink 2021a code generation is no more possible. The only STM device I can choose is "ST10/Super10".What can I do or when will a fix be available?Thanks for help!Thorsten

Hi,I've run into a problem that's a bit puzzling for me: I'm trying to get SDRAM to work on my board. The Hardware is based on the STM32F429 Discovery-Board, but has the SDRAM connected to Bank 1, a NAND-Flash connected to Bank 2 and the ILI9341 LCD Connected only via SPI. SDRAM initializes (no Crashes) and I can run this code: #define SDRAM_BANK_ADDR 0xC0000000 #define SDRAM_SIZE 0x00800000   uint16_t sdram_check_buffer[(SDRAM_SIZE / 4)] __attribute__((section(".bigdata")));   uint32_t SDRAM_Check() { uint16_t dataPattern = 0xAF56; uint32_t error_number = 0;   for (int i = 0; i < (SDRAM_SIZE / 4); i++) { *(__IO uint32_t*) (SDRAM_BANK_ADDR + i) = 0xFFFF; } HAL_Delay(10); for(int i = 0; i < (SDRAM_SIZE / 4); i++){ sdram_check_buffer[i] = dataPattern; } HAL_Delay(10); for (int i = 0; i < (SDRAM_SIZE / 4); i++){ if(sdram_check_buffer[i] != dataPattern) { error_number++; } } return error_number; }Now the problem: When I pause the application,

Is there any way to come around this? Or is this some "dirty trick" of the stupid "STM-Cube-Fan-Group" at STM to force all STM users into their stupid STM-Cube world?(If I try to connect Keil uVision 5.1 to the new Nucleo ARM G474 boards, the Keil Project properties ST Link Properties page tells me "ST-LINK(too recent)"... with an older V2 STLINK module for G074 Nucleo it will work without problem... I unfortunately really need my old "full Keil license" as in this case I want to try programming some RTOS with more than 32kByte Code - and please do not tell me that I should buy a new Keil ARMCC version only to communicate to this completely unnecessary new STLINK V3 interface, which really nobody needs?)

According to the datasheet, F429VI has no pin for LCD_R0, LCD_R1 andLCD_B1. does it mean the chip doesn't support 24bits colors (I don't want to use FMC instead of LCD-TFT)?(the F429 with more pins has all of the color pins, according to the pin definitions )

Using STM32F412RGT6 on a board I've developed.having a problem using bootloader via UART (using CubeProgrammer).Following all described in AN2606.In my application, I'm using bootloader via UART1 (PA9, PA10).BOOT0 is High, BOOT1 is low while attempt to enter bootloader state.Board powered on.Choosing the UART in CubeProgrammer and selecting "connect"Get error:"Error activating device: KO.Please verify the boot mode configuration and check the serial port configuration"After disconnecting all other pins of the MCU, excluding power, SWD, RST, UART1 - CubeProgrammer works !!! :beaming_face_with_smiling_eyes: Start reconnecting all the pins I've disconnected, one at a time, in order to figure out which pin is the problematic one.Turns out that when PA12 is reconnected CubeProgrammer once again won't go into Bootloader.In my board PA12 is used as a UART (UART6_RX) to an external device.This external device is powered-off at the stage of trying to enter Bootloader.How does PA12 influenc

Hi everyone!I'm new to CubeIDE. I've just installed version 1.6.1 on Windows 10 and I find myself in a situation...At my first attempt to make to blink the PC13 Led, the compiler cannot complie those lines and bring the following error:c:\st\stm32cubeide_1.6.1\stm32cubeide\plugins\com.st.stm32cube.ide.mcu.externaltools.gnu-tools-for-stm32.9-2020-q2-update.win32_1.5.0.202011040924\tools\arm-none-eabi\bin\ld.exe: cannot open linker script file C:\Users\NÉXTOR\STM32CubeIDE\workspace_1.6.1\Blink3\STM32F103C8TX_FLASH.ld: No such file or directorycollect2.exe: error: ld returned 1 exit statusI've already checked the following:Those paths and exists, all if themThe STM32F103C8TX_FLASH.ld file is in the path indicated above and it's visible in the project explorer window.I tried a couple of times and I tried in a second workspace to no avail.Well that's it.I wonder if you could help me with this.Thanks in advance.By the way, my name is Nestor and I'm from Argentina.

Hello,I want to activate three output compare interrupts in my timer peripheral. I want to use Output Compare for this purpose because then I can change the time. However, in STM32CubeMx there is a button to activate a global TIM2 interrupt, but there is no output compare interrupt. Even when I activate the output compare. Am I missing something?

I have a screen and two different backgrounds. I have a Toggle button. How to change the background with this button?Andrzej

Posted on January 02, 2018 at 12:18 Hi all, Recently I use STM32CubeMX Ver 4.0 (STMCube V1.0), firmware V1.18 to generate codes for STM32F407 by using SDIO 4-bit bus to access SD card via DMA or standard IO. The generated codes could not function probably. In order to make it work, you have to modify three files generated by STM32CubeMX: 1. bsp_driver_sd.c 2. sd_diskio.c 3. fatfs.c Here are the procedures: 1. bsp_driver_sd.c Modify the BSP_SD_WriteBlocks() and BSP_SD_ReadBlocks_DMA() to support DMA or standard I/O: // A flag indicating if to use DMA for read/write uint8_t BSP_SD_Ext_UseDMA = 1; /*========================================================================== Description DMA or polling mode of Reads block(s) from a specified address in an SD card * @param pData: Pointer to the buffer that will contain the data to transmit * @param ReadAddr: Address from where data is to be read * @param NumOfBlocks: Number of SD blocks to read * @param Timeout:

I can't seem to find it in the datasheet: what is the max allowed kernel clock frequency for SPI123 and SPI45?

Hello,thanks for the update.What do i need to exactly enter when terminal asks for "Enter your root CA:"I entered "Usertrust" or "Tangle" and pressed Enter two times. Program doesnt proceed.Also new lines on the terminal output dont start from the left since, since you are just using "\n" instead of "\r\n" in the code.Also writing the code directly in C++ would be much easier to handle and save all the code redundancies and better to integrate into new projects.Thank you.Best regards,Robert

We would like to know sensing distance target's size spec.Our team had tested with some small pole as 1inch diameter and 2 inch height cylinder that put on table.But from upper to bottom as in front of target VL53L0X cannot detect this cylinder distance.We have tested some another medicine bottle also, it shows similar result.My understanding of TOF is photon detect by SPAD with avalanche but it takes some level of volume reflection at surface in SPAD.If there are some spec of this issue please let me know.

Hi,I'm using STM32F072C8 controller on custom board. I want to use external ready oscillator instead of using crystal component.So need some information on how to interface external oscillator to STM32 controller and configurations that has to be made on software side..?The External oscillator device I'm using is SIT6098EBB.Thank You

Hi,Using the P NUCLEO WB 55 with STM32WB .Encountered with below code, regarding HSE tuning, in workshop tutorial. A reference was given to An5024.This code does not exist in my example project, BLE Heart Rate RTOS, generated with STM32Cube 6.2.0 , FW_WB V1.11.0.Should I add it manually? Will this benefit my current working environment above?Code:/* 1 */   #include "otp.h"   /* 2 */   #warning “Following code is valid only for P-NUCLEO-WB55 boards and should be reimplemented depending on the target HW and HSE capacitor tuning value storage location.“   OTP_ID0_t * p_otp;       /* Read and use HSE_Tuning from OTP */   p_otp = (OTP_ID0_t *) OTP_Read(0);   if (p_otp)   {   LL_RCC_HSE_SetCapacitorTuning(p_otp->hse_tuning);   }

How to store more than one 32 bit variable in eeprom memory in while loop and also to receive downlink?Here,I have attached the code too.

Hello, I see on ST website that there is multiple packages for cellular connection with a cloud. There is X-CUBE-CELLULAR, X-CUBE-CLOUD and X-CUBE-AZURE.On X-CUBE-CLOUD page I can download X-CUBE-AZURE so I guess they are the same package, right ? But what is the difference with CELLULAR ? Is CELLULAR just a part of AZURE ?Best regards,Nathan

Hi!I'm using lis2dw12 on a custom board and trying to acquire the acceleration based on the data ready signal that I routed to INT1.The code was based on this repository but I think I'm doing something wrong because I can't get any signal from the pin while mesuring it with an oscilloscope.Here's my configuration of the device. lis2dw12_reg_t int_route;   /* * Restore default configuration */ lis2dw12_reset_get(&dev_ctx, &rst); lis2dw12_reset_set(&dev_ctx, PROPERTY_ENABLE); do { } while (rst);   /* * Enable Block Data Update */   lis2dw12_block_data_update_set(&dev_ctx, PROPERTY_ENABLE); /* * Set full scale */ lis2dw12_full_scale_set(&dev_ctx, LIS2DW12_8g);   /* * Configure filtering chain * Accelerometer - filter path / bandwidth */ lis2dw12_filter_path_set(&dev_ctx, LIS2DW12_LPF_ON_OUT); lis2dw12_filter_bandwidth_set(&dev_ctx, LIS2DW12_ODR_DIV_4);   /* * Configure power mode */ lis2dw12_power_m

Hi! I am using ISM330DLC to get data from all three gyros and three accelerometers with an ODR of higher than 400Hz. When the circumstance temperature is going down from normal to about -20~-30℃, there are several disturbance in outputs of gyros (different from noise). This phenomenon only appears for gyros in the process of temperature descending. Do you have any suggestions?
