Solved

Hi, I'm using a STM32L100RC discovery board and I'm trying to send/receive words through the Virtual Com Port (VCP). Nevertheless, even after installing the STM32 Virtual COM Port Driver (STSW-STM32102), the board is not connected as a VCP but as a USB device. I tried to reinstall everything, to change the ports used for the usb cable but nothing is working. Does someone has any idea about how to fix this issue?Thank you in advance,Jay.

Hi,how can i output the reference Voltage to PB0 or B1 at a STM32L1(51RCT6A) µC ?I've enable the "Voltage reference out" at cubeMX.At the RM0038 Figure 28, is see a second switch to PB0 or PB1, how i can enable that?THX

Thank you for helping.How can I change the value displayed / set in the textArea to the value brought from the variable instead of the touchgfx setting value?Wildcards are used for the textArea.I wrote the following code in the View constructor, but it didn't show up.Thank you.int tmp, f10, f01tmp = hoge.getValue ();f10 = tmp / 10;f01 = tmp% 10;Unicode :: snprintf (textAreaFirstBuffer, TEXTAREAFIRST_SIZE, "% 02d", f10 * 10 + f01);textAreaFirst.setWildcard (textAreaFirstBuffer);textAreaFirst.invalidate ();

I would like to run Azure RTOS application on Cortex-M of STM32MP1 SOC. Is Azure RTOS available for Cortex-M of STM32MP1 devices? any example code?

I'm working on a project with version 5.2 of X-CUBE-CELLULAR and there is an new version 6.0. I tried to download it and use it to update my project but I see that folders structure is not the same, thus updating my project is difficult. What is the easiest way to do that ?

we have a spc560B-DIS board. we can program a sample from spc5 studio using STK 5.2 software on this board. in the next step, we create a new spc5 program (blinking LED ) and successfully build it. but we can not program and debug this on this board. Are there some setting for spc560B-DIS board that we do not consider?

Hi, I am using STM32H750VB Controller. I am using DMA transmit and Receive(Circular Mode) .In receive I am defining an DMA array of fixed size of 10 bytes. My problem is that when 5 bytes of data(first data) is received the array gets updated (Position 0 - 5) and when after some seconds if I receive the second data with 6 bytes the array gets updated (Position 6 to 10).Is there a way to update or reinitialize the DMA array so that if second data comes it starts from array initial position.(Position 0 to 6) . I have also tried with normal DMA mode and also Circular DMA mode. Have attached the settings screenshot.

Hi,I've configured 3 ADC channels (IN2, IN3,IN4) in DMA mode (device=STM32L475RCTX running at 80MHz) as shown:  I want to set a sample time of 6400Hz (156.25ms) so here's the TIM4 configuration In order to test the sample time I toggle an output pin in the irq callback:  Everything is okay except for the jitter on this output: This jitter is about of 5us. Why? How can avoid this? I've tried to change the DMA priority interrupt without success.thanks in advance,gaston

Hi, I am developing with STM8S003F3.I want to store user-specific information somewhere in the flash and read only that area with ST-LINK.Is there such a way?Regards, Gotoda

Hai,I am using stm32fo70c6 when i upload the usb_cdc code and connected with usb , it is showing in the device manager as either stm32 DFU mode or stm32 bootloader, it has not detect as a com port, if can anyone knows suggest me , how stm32f070c6 detect as a com port, in some systems it is showing as virtual com port ,some other systems it is showing as either stm32 DFU mode or stm32 bootloader, how can I overcome this error

Hello everyone, I'm working on a project that I did not create, it is finished and I have to reopen it to do some changes. The project is based on STM32L496 microcontroller with x-cube-cellular package. It connects to Azure cloud to send sensors data. What I want to do is to change the modem configuration with AT commands to have the best connection. I would like to send the "newscanmode" AT command, available in at_custom_modem_signalling_bg96.c file, but how to send the command ? Is there a function to do this ? Thanks

I have an EVSPIN32F02Q1S1 board to experiment. Each boot pin has a connection to Vcc via a diode (D1, D4, D7) - which are not mounted on the board. When driving a phase full on the pull up MOSFET breaks down about every 2.5ms. The time varies depending on other IO signals.I can not find a reference data sheet or application note about the MOSFET driver circuitry of this chip.Anybody knows how to drive this pin?If I need 100% Vcc output, is populating those diodes all that is required?What are the implications?

Dear all,I am working on STM32F413 microcontroller. I want to transmit data on UART without using any HAL function. And I want to send data in non blocking mode means on interrupt mode not in polling mode.Can anyone help me out in this?Thanks

Hi ST community,I am interrested in using the STM32F767-Nucleo board for SPI communication. My system is as follows. I have one STM32F767-Nucleo board which is my SPI slave and a Raspberry Pi which acts as SPI master device. The Raspi should read data via SPI from the Nucleo board. There is also one wire which is used from the Nucleo board to tell the Raspi when data is ready to be read. So every time data is ready the STM32 toggles this GPIO pin and the Raspi gets an interrupt and forces a read command. Now my problem is not the SPI communication, no this works very well. The problem is the GPIO pin which forces interrupts at the Raspi and after that SPI read commands for the STM32. After some time of working properly the GPIO pin does nothing for about 400ms to 500ms and I don't know why this happens (see picture GPIO_stop_working.png) . I use the DMA to transfer data from the memory to the SPI peripheral. If timer 3 generates an Interrupt (this happens every 100ms) HAL_TIM_PeriodEla

I'm connecting a X-NUCLEO-PLC01A1 with my DK2 card. The Inputs are working fine and for the outputs I can read the fault status , I'm getting 0000 0000 1000 0101, then all is right, the 3 error leds are off, and the OE signal is in 0 (I tested also with OE = 1); but I not getting anything in the outputs. I can see in the diagram that one of the leds is named PG (Power good) but it's off. I connected the GND / 24V to the left of the input connector. The led turns flash when I power on/off the system.Then I have two problems, the PG led and the outputs.I appreciate any insights Thanks

Hello. I am trying to read ReRAM( FUJITSU: MB85AS4MT) by using HAL_SPI_Receive().But the LSB is recognized as 0 even the reply from ReRAM is returning 1 to LSB. (ex: '11111111' is recognized as '11111110', or '01010101''' is recognised '01010100' )As far as I see the signals by the Oscilloscope, ReRAM returns the proper signal. I guess it is an STM32 board side problem. Could someone solve the issue?System details STM32F429 Discovery1 ReRAM : MB85AS4MT(ReRAM)The picturs shows ReRAM read operation part, singal when ReRAM reply '11111111' but STM32 recognize it as '11111110' and my implementation.Thank youvery much for your help.

I want to programme STM32 MCU connected to ESP8266 using USART now i want to programme these STM32 MCU using laptop at remote place connected to internet.how can i make this possible ?

I am using the example for a LWIP HTTP server, given by STM here. However, the clock configuration configures the supply to be PWR_LDO_SUPPLY. However, my board is configured to accept PWR_SMPS_DIRECT_SUPPLY, and I do not have the tools to reconfigure my board. Could someone explain how I can change this option in the example? I tried doing it directly but it has way more dependencies elsewhere and there is no .ioc configuration to generate it automatically.I am new to STM32 boards and lower level MCU in general, so please keep that in mind.

Hello,I can run the GUI on the screen, however, for some unknown reason, the touch does not respond. I have tested the touch function separately in the while loop and it handles the x and y coordinates correctly with the same code and with checking the touch press (I mean what you see below inside sampleTouch, just without "return true", because return true will exit the while loop). Where is your definition of (0, 0), upper-left corner, or lower-left corner? I have tested both. nothing happens :(This is my implementation inside "STM32TouchController.cpp":bool STM32TouchController::sampleTouch(int32_t &x, int32_t &y) {   if (XPT2046_TouchPressed()) { XPT2046_TouchGetCoordinates((uint16_t*) &x, (uint16_t*) &y); return true; }   return false;   }

Hello,Not sure if this is the correct place for an issue report. If there is a better way, please let me know.I am using TouchGFX Designer 4.16.0 and noticed that when I use the listLayout containerit seems to only support "East" layout. Even if I change it to "South" and save the project and "Generate code", the generated code shows "East"listLayout1.setDirection(touchgfx::EAST);My environment is the STM32F769I-Discovery board with the screen set to Portrait mode,in case that matters.Is anyone else seeing this?

Hello I am using STM32F429I - Discovery Board. I designed an GUI on TouchGFX. I want to display readed ADC values on screen. How can I do this connection?

I'm trying to use the internal reference voltage of 2.048V in my application, since I'm powering the microcontroller with 2.8V. But when I select the reference source and enable the VRefBuff with this lines: HAL_SYSCFG_VREFBUF_VoltageScalingConfig(SYSCFG_VREFBUF_VOLTAGE_SCALE0); HAL_SYSCFG_VREFBUF_HighImpedanceConfig(SYSCFG_VREFBUF_HIGH_IMPEDANCE_DISABLE); if (HAL_SYSCFG_EnableVREFBUF() != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); }the microcontroller will go directly to the error handler. Is this because in this package the VRef is bonded to VDDA? meaning I will only be able to use VDDA as reference in this chip?

There saw that there is no gyroscope in this model, so I dont understand how we can to differentiate between (for example) - stationary mode, when we have g in the X axis and '0' on the other. AND movement so there is g in X axis and '0' on other axis (perhaps movement on one of the axis).how can we tell if we are stationary \ moving in this example.
