Hi,Is it possible to implement a dynamic bar graph in TouchGFX as shown in picture. If yes, please point me to help/tutorial/example.

HiWhy is FreeRTOS not working?Andrzej

Hi all,in my new project with STM32H7A3 (set up using STMCubeMX Version 6.2.0 and HAL Version 1.9.0) the USB which has been set to CDC is not working. Not even the PC sees any USB device connected - not even wrong configuration or so noted. Nothing seen on PC in Device Manager when the USB is connected.The device is set with Internal FS Phy in Device Mode, Speed = Full Speed, VBus Sensing Enabled, all USB-Device settings configured with default values.When stepping through the code I see, that the Init routine (CDC_Init_HS) is not called by the HAL setup.In my other project with H743 the USB is working and the Init routine is called correctly (but with an older HAL version).Can anyone confirm that the CDC class is working with the new HAL version on STM32H7A3 ?Any help on how to set up the USB as VCP with this processor is very welcome.GS

Hay to everyone,My name is Tony, live in Melbourne, Au.I am fixing electronic boards for house appliance and often use ST products.This time I need to replace a IC from ST with writing : eZPY025, I think is a 100KHz PWM controler. Can't find anywhere Data sheat for it or source to bay.Hopping someone on Forum can help, thanks Tony.

Hi everyone.I would like to know how to use DHCP and check if DHCP is working what I expected.Please, confirm my process for using TCP/IP communication with DHCP on freeRTOS.First, I make CubeMX configuration.Like this, I make DHCP_Module enable.And then, I put TCP/IP echo server C code on RTOS.Below I attach the TCP/IP echo server thread C code./* USER CODE END Header_tcp_echo_server */ void tcp_echo_server(void const * argument) { /* USER CODE BEGIN tcp_echo_server */ struct netconn *conn, *newconn; err_t err, accept_err; struct netbuf *buf; void *data; u16_t len; LWIP_UNUSED_ARG(argument);   /* Create a new connection identifier. */ conn = netconn_new(NETCONN_TCP); if (conn!=NULL) { /* Bind connection to well known port number 7. */ err = netconn_bind(conn, NULL, 7);   if (err == ERR_OK) { /* Tell connection to go into listening mode. */ netconn_listen(conn); /* Infinite loop */ for(;;) { /* Grab new TCP connection.

Hello!We are use STM32H747 and TouchGFX. We are need to use DMA2D. But we have issue with mode DMA2D_R2M.Our configuration hdma2d.Instance = DMA2D; hdma2d.Init.Mode = DMA2D_R2M; hdma2d.Init.ColorMode = DMA2D_OUTPUT_ARGB8888; hdma2d.Init.OutputOffset = 0;   if (HAL_DMA2D_Init(&hdma2d) != HAL_OK) { while (1); }   if (HAL_DMA2D_ConfigLayer(&hdma2d, 1) != HAL_OK) { while (1); }Our testNVIC_EnableIRQ(DMA2D_IRQn);   HAL_DMA2D_Start_IT(&hdma2d, 0x12345678, 0xD0165800, 640, 572);In this case we have callback from DMA with configuration error.For mode DMA2D_R2M - all Ok.Any ideas?

(1) The GUI displays an exception. The problem can not be determined. It is suspected that the data sent by dma2d is incorrect. At present, there is no touchgfx fill interface function???(2) Close the GUI display function, directly call the bottom dma2d write screen cleaning function, can display normal!!!The screen uses DSI MipiGUI display content: Screen display after opening GUI: Close the GUI and use the clear screen function:

HiI have GFX Designer 4.16.1 and STM32CubeIDE 1.6.1. How to start working on the STM32F746G-DISCO.greetingsAndrzej

Hello,Depending on the datasheet of the STM32WB55 MCU, there is an external resistor for the oscillator circuit. In many Nucleo board schematics, it is not used. The datasheet says that the resistor is to avoid overdriving current. How can I decide that overdriving or do I have to limit the current? Does not the MCU limit the current? The schematic in the attachment is from the STM32WB Nucleo Board.Thank you,Batuhan

Hi, I am building an android app to read mailbox with fastReadMailboxMessage() function. I have already had problems with that function and read somewhere on community.st that this function doesn't work and I should just use readMailboxMessage() instead. So Question 1: Does fastReadMailboxMessage() really not work on android java application? Q2: If I use readMailboxMessage() instead does it use the fast read or it's already a slower access? (slower than 53kbps)I also encountered problems with hasHostPutMsg register read through RF. After a successful mailbox read with a phone (all bytes available) hasHostPutMsg register should go back to 0 but for me it stays 1 till I reset the MB. Why could it happen like this? I send 250bytes of data through I2C once, then read with RF and HostPutMsg is still 1 I appreciate Your quick help!

Hello everyone,I'm new here, but already made a few developpment on a ST32F7 chip, but now have a question about USB and virtual COM.Is it possible to use the second USB port of the NUCLEO board to make a virtual COM and manage communication with a PC ? I mean, without using STLINK USB port.If so, could you please explain how to do that, and if there are some example and application notes I can find ?Hoping someone may help me and give some recommendations.Have a nice day,KindlyPatrick

I am a new member, I am learning about UART data transmission of MCU STM32F411RE on a nucleon board. I have read and understood the function HAL_UART_Transmit. However, in this function, there is a part I don't understand. I don't understand the meaning of the program below:if (huart->Init.WordLength == UART_WORDLENGTH_9B)     {       if (UART_WaitOnFlagUntilTimeout(huart, UART_FLAG_TXE, RESET, tickstart, Timeout) != HAL_OK)       {         return HAL_TIMEOUT;       }       tmp = (uint16_t *) pData;       huart->Instance->DR = (*tmp & (uint16_t)0x01FF);       if (huart->Init.Parity == UART_PARITY_NONE)       {        &nbs

Hello everyone,I am trying to install STM32cubef3 patch v1.11.2 ,the zip file download from st web site, and I already installed STM32f3 v1.11.0, but when I use embedded software packages manager choose the zip file, it always display "Missing dependency for this package. -STM32Cube FW_F3 V1.11.0", how can I do ?

1. It is correct to read and write flash through command function when there is no memory mapping enabled（ flash:MX25R6435F ）2. After memory mapping is enabled, after accessing the address of 0x90000000, the MCU crashes and cannot recognize the chip. I suspect that there is a problem with the configuration memory mapping?? I am testing the VL53L0X ability to accurately measuring the distance to objects of different materials and different sizes. The sensor is in continuous mode and I am using VL53L)X_GetRangingMeasurmentData to read the distance and reflectivity value. The parameter I am reading for distance is RangeMilliMeter and the parameter I am using for reflectivity is SignalRateRtnMegaCps. I have found that as the SignalRateRtnMegaCps value goes up the distance error increases. At 25? the distance reading to a large sheet of brown cardboard is about 25.5? and the reflectivity reading is 122,316. But at the same distance, the distance reading to a piece of white cardboard is about 35.3? and the reflectivity value is 58,675. Are large distance errors to be expected as the reflectivity value goes down? Is there anything that can be done to reduce this error? Is it possible to use the Reflectivity reading to reduce this error? I see this question has bee

Hello, I have series of questions related to the data implementations using SPAD zone settings. After reading of manuals i made conclusions how to use this feature of the sensor, but i'm not sure if my conclusions are correct.1. I'm interested in accuracy of data returned by sensor in different zones. I tested all center zones started from 16x16 and reducing it to 4x4 size array. And each redusing gave me differense almost in 1.5cm, so the difference between value that retured in 16x16 case and 4x4 case equals 7-8cm! I had clear conditions of the experiment: sensor was fixed vertically in front of plane wall. I just wondered why the zones with the same center have such differents in output value.2. The second quastions is about if there any possobility to define geometric locations of the zones. User manuals said that 16x16 array has 27 FoV, 8x8 -20 FoV, 4x4-15 FoV. So i'm really wondered how those zones geometricly exists, because the reducing of the FoV is not uniform (if it was unif

Dear Sir/Madame, I am using X-NUCLEO-NFC03A1 connected to our MCU (NXP Kinetis). The communication protocol used is SPI and it works well (sends and receives echo). Therefore, we would like to read a text on the smartphone in "NDEF tag emulator" mode, but in the reponses indicate that the NDEF file is not found.Our goal is to deesign an access control with an NFC reader that is accesser with a smartphone application.The commands used are extracted using the datasheet, page 78-81, D.1.5 Forum Tag Type 4A, and it works well until the commands after "Select Application" because it responds 0x6A 0x82 (file or application not found). The Select application responds 0x90 0x00 0xF1 0x00, but if I change the command to >>> CR95HFDLL_SENDRECV, 02 00 A4040007D276000085010100 28, it responds 0xF2 (I understand that the timeW is exceeded and I put the maximum value 0x60).Could you please help us to solve this situation?Thanks you and Best regards,José Manuel.-

Hi together,I have ADC reading issues with my STM32G431. I read the ADC with DMA. The readings are triggered by a burst of pulses (approx. 750 kHz) and the ADC buffer seems to get filled. However, the ADC readings are way to high.A 2.5 voltage regulator is connected to VDDA. As you can see in the appended Scope-Screenshot the analog signal which I feed into the ADC (CH2) is lower than the reference voltage of the VDDA (CH1). The bursts of pulses is shown on CH3. But all the reading (except a few readings at the beginning and a few readings at the end) are 4095. So I do not understand why it is so. All the time the analog signal is below the ref signal. The settings of the ADC is appended as well. I hope you guys can help me. I am out of ideas how to fix my problem.

I have been using stspin32f0602 based on evspin32f0602s1. But the evaluation kit uses external opamp and comparator ic. I am looking for a way to use the internal opamp and comparator for amp measurements for easier hardware and inventory management. please help me with this.

The new release 5.Y of the STM32 Motor Control Software Development Kit (X-CUBE-MCDSK) offers the new SW tool “STM32 MC Motor Pilot? (real data log capabilities thru customizable interface), support AC Induction Motor and new 6-step control for BLDC motors (as FW example) and many other new features in the FW library (Discontinuous PWM, Single shunt phase shift, Overmodulation, Circle limitation V2 (replacing Legacy Circle limitation).The STM32 Motor Control SDK 5.Y is a step in between the current legacy version (v5.4.6 ) and the coming V6.0 (planned for beginning 2022).We use a “Y? in the naming as FW library is closer to the coming STM32 MC SDK 6.0 while the STM32 Motor Control Workbench, the configurator tool (GUI), is identical with the one present in the STM32 MC SDK4.5.6 (legacy version). Both versions are available at: https://www.st.com/en/embedded-software/x-cDo not hesitate to visite our FAQ.

Hello, I am using the ST25R3916 reader. looking at the schematic of the filter and matching circuit I notice that the cutoff of the filter is lower than 13.5 M. I would like to double-check the L and C of the filter : 270 nH and 680 pF , thanks

Hello all,I am having severe issues trying to compile and getting to work a blink LED example on Simulink using the STM32-MAT/Target version 5.6.At first, I was trying the example on the hands on documentation of the STM32-MAT/Target. Which is blinking a LED using Timers 1, 6, and the pushbutton on my Nucleo board (Nucleo-F767ZI). I was using version 1.6.1 of the STM32CubeIDE, version 6.2 of STMCubeMX, MATLAB/Simulink version 2020B and windows 10.I wasn't able to create a .project file for the IDE until I downloaded Java version 8.45 which correctly linked everything together I assume. However, when it came to building the project, I was getting several errors about undeclared functions and variables that I wasn't able to figure out.I decided to look deeper into the documentation for the STM32-MAT/Target and looked at the last supported software for it (version 5.6 of CubeMX , 1.3 of CubeIDE, and MATLAB/Simulink 2018B). I rolled back the software to those versions thinking it might sol

We are evaluating ST25R3911B  using the X-NUCLEO-NFC05A1 board, with our custom IMX6 system. We have tried RFAL with the nfc_poller_st25r3911 example. Initially, no tag was found. We determined that the problem was our long IRQ handling. Since we had connected the IRQ to an IO expander rather than directly to the CPU, IRQ response time was about 2 ms, and no tag was found. Apparently this is due to overlapping IRQs. After connecting IRQ directly to the CPU, IRQ response time was about 0.2 ms and tags are correctly found. Is this a known issue or limitation? Can it be solved in software/RFAL, or is it necessary to use "fast" IRQ pins?

CubeIDE: 1.51, FW: H7_V1.8.0In the experience of using the F4 series, there is no problem in setting the CDC mode. But this time, the H743BGTx MCU setting cannot be successful, and the computer USB is not listed. The USB initialization is successful without any error message, but there is no response.I also try other usb device type but same problem. (without error but no response.)Does anyone know how to solve it?
