Hi,I'm measuring a buffered voltage using injected conversions, triggered by a timer. I've limited the frequency of the ADC to F_adc < F_adc_hclk/4 as mentioned in the reference manual. When I use the synchronous clock (ADC_CLOCK_SYNC_PCLK_DIV4) I get some erratic measurements when compared to the asynchronous clock (ADC_CLOCK_ASYNC_DIV4). I find this to be strange as both my AHB clock and SYSCLK are running at the same frequency (160MHz).I would like to use the synchronous clock as this is recommended by ST when using timers as ADC trigger. Does anyone have an idea how to fix/circumvent this problem?

When I set the tx power as 25 dBm in the application what would be output tolerance. What would be the output power accuracy? We understand that tolerance resolution would be the parameter to drive the step size. RegardsPrabhu

I would like to get an clear answer about how I can support an eMMC Flash with FatFS on an STM32 (F4xx, F7xx, H7xx).It seems that STM32CubeMX doesn't want to generate a driver when the SDMMC controller is configured in MMC mode.Maybe there is another way outside of STM32Cube? Does ST provide necessary driver code to do that?

Dear Sir/Madame,I'm currently using ST25R95 for a design and I have a question from my software colleagues. Is the device capable of writing on Tags with a protected acess (by password for example)  ? We are using NFC TAGs Type 1.We would like to garantee that we can read and write the memory of the tags but without the possibility to copy what we are reading. We would like to ensure that no other reader than our can access to the memory of the tags.Thx in advance, Sincerely,S.T

Hello everyone,I just want to make sure that there is no OTP (one time programmable memory) in the STM32H745zi, I could not fine it in this device. Can someone confirm this?RegardsAlan

Hi,due to global shortage of MCU components we need to migrate our originally STM32G030K6 based application to alternative MCU. We have identified that following MCUs are compatible with original MCU (i.e when importing the configuration from STM32G030K6 to these listed MCUs no issues are reported by STM32CubeMX).STM32G030K8STM32G031K6STM32G031K8STM32G041K6STM32G041K8Based on RM0454 document (Reference manual for STM32G0x0 based MCUs) I assume that the binary compiled for STM32G030K6 can be programmed also to STM32G030K8 as the memory map seems to be identical. Is my assumption correct? The other listed MCUs are listed in the RM0444 document (Reference manual for STM32G0x1 based MCUs). This document lists the same memory map structure for the peripherals that we are using on the original STM32G030K6 MCU. Can I assume that the binary compiled for the STM32G030K6 MCU works also for STM32G0x1 based MCUs?

I've to count till 30ms, but i've to restart the count if a signal goes above a threshold. So i want to use analog watchdog as trigger source for the timer. I set up the timer in "slave reset mode" and with "ETR1 through ADC" as Trigger Source. I've also set ETR remap capabilities for TIM! in the correct way. The problem is that the timer never reset so it count to 30 ms every time. Anyone have any advice? Thanks, Marco

Hi,I have an STM32G0 with VBATT input for the RTC. When I restart the circuit, the time is reset. At the power On I write this instruction :  HAL_RTCEx_BKUPRead(&hrtc, RTC_BKP_DR1);Before of the Power Off :HAL_RTCEx_BKUPWrite(&hrtc, RTC_BKP_DR1, 0x32F2);Thanks for your Help.Pascal

Hello all,is there any example how to communicate with M7 and M4 in a STM32H745zi? Or any example how it is done communication with ST Cube would be great. Thanks in advanceAlan

I'm running Ubuntu 18.04 and recently purchased the STEVAL-MKI109V3 motherboard and STEVAL-MKI207V1 adapter. I downloaded and successfully installed Unico STSW-MKI109L according to the user manual. In Unico, I select Device Type iNemo Intertial Modules, and from Device Name I select STEVAL-MKI207V1 and the Select Device button. When the popup dialog says "Port not open," I select ttyACM0 from the dropdown box (as shown by dmesg) and when I connect, the error dialog says:"ERROR: The board does not respond. The device selected might be not supported by the motherboard.Motherboard:       ProfiMEMSToolFirmware version:  V2.18.6Unico version:     9.9.0.0Device selected:   STEVAL-MKI207V1 (ISM330DHCX)Setdb command:   *setdb207v1Please check motherboard and firmware version. For firmware upgrade, please follow instructions on the motherboard user manual."The st.com website says the STEVAL-MKI207V

Hi,I'm working on STM32MP157A-DK1. By following this linkhttps://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/STM32MP1_Distribution_Package tried building the image for STM32MP157A-DK1 but i facing the error ERROR: icu-66.1-r0 do_compile: oe_runmake failed during build. attached build log.i tried to resolve with the command "bitbake -c cleanall icu-native" and build still it fails. if i separately build "bitbake icu-native" it build fine but if i run command bitbake st-image-westonthe error comes up.

I have decided to implement my firmware in C++ on an STM32 Arm Cortex M4 microcontroller. However, I find it difficult to get started. I lack good examples and learning tools.Does anyone know good examples of firmware in C++?

Hello ST Community and Experts, I have an STM32STM32H745ZI and i have programmed it to send and receive some CAN messages from an other STM32 F446RE Nucleo Board. I would like to know if i can use STM32STM32H745ZI to connect to a different CAN Busnoperated at 24 Volts? I was unable to find the details in the technical specification regarding the above point. Thanks Krishna

I'm using a nucleo-f7 development board as the basis for a data logger. The logger is using three spi slaves with DMA to grab data streaming from a sensor suite and write it to a USB flash drive with occasional data headers. The problem I'm having is that I'm getting an occasional very long write time. I'm writing data from three separate A2Ds to three separate files. Normally the time it takes to f_write data to the USB flash drive is around 600 ms, but occasionally this will jump to 1800 ms. Currently, the system uses DMA TC interrupt that writes data from the smaller 4096 byte DMA buffer to a significantly larger 90 kilobyte circular "data buffer". I've made these data buffers as large as I can to help account for random write delays, but this occasional 1200 ms delay for a single modality is too much and will cause the system to overrun each data buffer. Here are the main functions that control the file system and controls the DMA buffer transfers. I'm hoping for some advice on lim

Hi, My board consists of stm32f469 that interfaces SDRAM via FMC. I want to execute code from SDRAM. Code is loaded from internal flash to SDRAM at address 0xc0000000. But running the code from this region causes hard-fault. Is there a restriction with stm32469 to run code from SDRAM?Thanks,Ari

* I want to know how to read 2 or more sensors data in (stm32f042g6) through ADC,*stm32f042g6-> This is my controller has only one ADC (with 9 channels),Eg: Suppose Channel No :1 (temp-sensor) Channel No :2 (gas-sensor) connected,*In this scenario how i read two sensors data at a time (Suggest which method is recommended among poll, interrupt,Dmd)Examples are recommended,

I try implement a function to detect how the MCU start from, reset from watchdog or hardfault or recycle power.Watchdog reset, if the code goes to dead loop, it will trigger WD, but I have no good idea how to capture it.Recycle power, I can use PVD_IRQHandler() interrupt, but I can't find how to configure the PWR_PVD parameter from STMCube .Hardfault, I can use the HardFault_Hander() interrupt routine, it works for me.

Hello,I am looking to be able to do in-the-field firmware upgrades with the STM32G071 board. I have used the STMCubeProg tool to be able to modify the nBOOT0 user bit with the ST-Link built into the NUCLEO board. What I am looking to do is to modify nBOOT0 to 0 through the firmware on the device. Then I am assuming that I can reset the device, and then using a connected UART comms, I can update the firmware, After that, I can set the nBOOT0 pin back to 0.The issues are that I can't figure out how to modify the nBOOT0 bit in the firmware. Also, I am unsure if my STM32G071 will be able to flip its nBOOT0 pin back itself after the firmware update. I have read through the AN2606 and AN3155 and cannot find an answer to my question. Everything points back to the STM32Prog tool which I don't want to have to rely on.

Hi I'm trying to run example if memory share on Nucleo H745. But I'm getting following errors

We are porting an existing vxWorks project to STM32. I am able to import the existing source files into a STM project, but I cannot get it to compile any of the files.I have tried a variety of project types and always refresh the project after adding the files. Please provide or point me to instructions for doing this.BTW - I can successfully import examples, build and run them on a eval board.

Hello,I would like to know the behavior of the BOOT0 pin on a factory fresh STM32G474 device. I'm wondering if I can use PB6 as a general input without causing side effects if the flash option register is at factory defaults. The reference manual shows: "Reset value: 0xFXXX XXXX", but what are the *** *** values as shipped from the factory?Thank you for any insight you can provide - much appreciated!Regards,Dave

Good morning. This would be for an ST employee, please. If possible, I would like to contact the group responsible for the Sensor webinar coming up in a week or so. I'm looking to find out if there is any support information that I can get before the actual webinar takes place. One of the specific items would be which project download will be used. There appears to be two downloads with conflicting version numbers: en.fp-sns-datalog1.zip and en.stsw-stwinkt01.zip . Also, and if not already planned, it would be nice to see each module (BLE, Serial and WiFi) working as they should, up front and with the ST BLE Sensor app. I can successfully recompile and install each module, connect only with the phone, and can't get any data to transmit to wifi, BLE, file or Watson.  I've been through all of the briefs and user manual but I'm overlooking something and I'd like to find out what that is before the webinar. Thanks,TJM

Hello, i want to create a custom board for stm32 h7 series and run Free RTOS on it for a specific application. Which is the most advanced debug i can use to ensure i get all the correct debug tools on the market for this project both software and hardware. I m aware about the basic debugging like SWD or JTAG but it seems like they can be used in much more advanced ways. Also i want to program the board through DFU and USB_FS connection? will that be possible using the BOOT pins on STM32H755Bit3 processor . Thank you
