Often I find that MCSDK does not have the exact MCU I need to use so I need to end up modifying the CubeMx *.ico file generated from MCSDK.In trying to determine the relationship of these files I took an existing working project and renamed the *.stmx file to *.stmx_____. I then loaded the *.ico file with CubeMx with no complaints. Next I deleted the drive_parameters.h file then had CubeMx generate new code. The result was a new drive_parameters.h file was generated.Where does the information for this new drive_parameters.h file come from? There was no old drive_parmeters.h file and the *.stmx file was not present.I ask this because sometimes when rebuilding my project I find all my drive_parameters.h values have changed and I need to copy the file over from an archived project.Thanks for any insight you can give on this. A secret decoder ring would be appreciated from ST ;)Brian

Hi! I am using F746ZG + IHM08M1. And I need configuration with 2 insulated current sensors.My question is why in Workbench ICS gain is in range from -5V to 5V where the ADC max working range ist only 3.3V. Which current sensors should I buy 3.3V or 5V?Thank you!

l have initialized the Micron MT25TL01G QSPI chip with the BSP_QSPI_Init() function. I am able to read, write, and erase data to the QSPI using the underlying MT25TL01G functions beneath the BSP. Whenever l remove the BSP initialization l don't receive an output from MT25TL01G_ReadDTR().This may sound silly, but doesn't CubeMx initialize the QSPI Chip with HAL_QSPI_Init? Could this be an QSPI_MspInit() vs HAL_QSPI_MspInit() configuration issue? Parameters: /* QUADSPI parameter configuration*/ hqspi.Instance = QUADSPI; hqspi.Init.ClockPrescaler = 2; hqspi.Init.FifoThreshold = 4; hqspi.Init.SampleShifting = QSPI_SAMPLE_SHIFTING_HALFCYCLE; hqspi.Init.FlashSize = 25; hqspi.Init.ChipSelectHighTime = QSPI_CS_HIGH_TIME_2_CYCLE; hqspi.Init.ClockMode = QSPI_CLOCK_MODE_0; hqspi.Init.FlashID = QSPI_FLASH_ID_1; hqspi.Init.DualFlash = QSPI_DUALFLASH_DISABLE; if (HAL_QSPI_Init(&hqspi) != HAL_OK) {  Error_Handler(); }&nbsp

Assume I create a custom container , containing just a box with a wild card text. Then I create 3 widget instances from this custom container. Now I want for each of container to have different text in the widcard text. How can I do this? How can I access individual widget member in each of the custom container instance?

How to match the output of the internal power amplifier to 50OHM? The Datasheet doesn't provide the output impedance. I know the eval board provides a schematic for the matching, but i don't want to simply copy and paste. I would like to understand. Any help will be appreciated.

I am new to STM32CubeIDE and I was trying to write a simple UART driver using polling method. I was successful when I wrote the function in the main.c and compiled the code. So, I wanted to make an API of the same function and moved the function to separate .c files (in 01-uart/Core/Src/ i.e., where main.c is placed by default on code generation) and added the declaration in respective .h files (in 01-uart/Core/Inc/ i.e., where main.h is placed by default on code generation) just like in any other C project source code. But this threw 150+ errors on build and all related to HAL types. How do I fix it? It would be helpful if someone could give a pointer on how to do this. Attached below is my source code.

@Hi,I'm using STM32F469 MCU for my application where I'm using USB in DEVICE mode in FS.Here I'm unable to go to the "OTG_FS_IRQHandler" interrupt handler and also the virtual comport is not recognized by the PC.It is working fine with the Host mode, where the board is successfully detecting the pen drive and writing data to it.The same library if I'm using with STM32F217, IT IS WORKING.System Clock configured for 168MHz.Here are the functions I have used#define USB_OTG_HS_BASE_ADDR         0x40040000#define USB_OTG_FS_BASE_ADDR         0x50000000void usbDevInit(){  USB_OTG_BSP_disableVBUS(); USBH_Disconnect(&USB_OTG_Core); delay_ms(10); usbStatus = USB_DEV;USBD_Init(&USB_OTG_dev, USB_OTG_FS_CORE_ID, &USR_desc, &USBD_CDC_cb); // USB Device init delay_ms(20);}void USBD_Init(USB_OTG_CORE_HANDLE *pdev,        USB_OT

It consists of several views.When the power is turned on, screens other than the startup screen may be displayed with a glance.How can I get rid of this flicker?Waiting for a while at startup didn't work.Thank you.

Hi,I'm trying to use SPI to communicate between two boards. On the MASTER side, i am using the HAL_SPI_Transmit(&hspi4, (uint8_t*)TxData,sizeof(TxData),100); and on the slave side i have enabled the interrupt, HAL_SPI_Receive_IT(&hspi4,RxData,1); The message that i am trying to send is simply a 0x01. But it doesn't receive properly on the slave side.... Did anyone experience something like this?

Hey,I have a discovery board (https://www.st.com/resource/en/data_brief/32f429idiscovery.pdf)This board has an on board 64 MBit SDRAM.Now i have read in other posts that RAM extension is not possible in an SPC line MCU. However what about the STM32F429.According to the datasheet (https://www.st.com/resource/en/datasheet/stm32f427vg.pdf) the STM32F429 has an"Flexible external memory controller with up to 32-bit data bus: SRAM, PSRAM, SDRAM/LPSDR SDRAM, Compact Flash/NOR/NAND memories"Can this be used to extend the internal RAM? (I know that NXP has an option here with their kinetis MCUs)

 have written this ARM assembly code. It is supposed to put the Fibonacci sequence numbers in R4 register. I'm trying to implement this C code in assembly:int fibbonacci(int n)   {   if(n == 0)   return 0;   else if(n == 1)   return 1;   else   return (fibbonacci(n-1) + fibbonacci(n-2));   }This is the assembly code I have written: AREA |.text|, CODE, READONLY   EXPORT Fib   Fib   ;R0(n) - store the first n numbers in the Fibonacci sequence   ;R1 - address of the first element in the array to store the Fibonacci sequence   MOV R4, #0   MOV R5, #0   MOV R6, #1     FiboR   CMP R0, #1   PUSHEQ {R5, R6, LR}   BEQ Return   SUBS R0, R0, #1   BL FiboR   ADD R4, R2, R3   PUSH {R4, R2, LR}   Return   POP {R2, R3, PC}   ALIGN ENDIt is not behaving exactly like that posted C code so far because I need to keep wo

I know I have arm_math.h so presumably it is a directory issue. Including the error as reference.

Dear experts,I'm using Cube to assign pins for my stuff (yep...) and it offers some pins with _C sufix (PC2_C, PC3_C).From the RM0433 fig.75 I gather this is something with the "analog switch" and in order to use these _C pins as AF for some device (SPI2 in my case) need to set some SYSCFG pins and connect them. Is this all that is needed? what are side effects? If these switch bits are 0 (close) what should be done to the ADC to not interfere with SPI operation?(the board is Nucleo H743)-- pa

Hi, I am new to custom PCB design. I am designing my first PCB with stm32f030 and PowerSTEP01. My application involves SPI communication with PowerSTEP01. I want to use the internal clock of the STM32 MCU to avoid external oscillator and capacitors. Does SPI communication work well without external clock signal? If yes, Should I leave the clock input pins PF0 and PF1 floating or pull down to ground?

We have built custom board using STM32H750VBT6.We have tried to make external loader for this MCU with w25q128Jq NOR flash of winbond.Also take one reference project from community which name is SW_H750_QSPI_Ext_LoaderKeil and modified command for NOR flash also.We can read and erase nor using stm32cube programmer but when we tried to program external flash it gives error as below."Error: Data mismatch found at address 0x90000000 (byte = 0xFF instead of 0x00)"Request to check linker file if we need to change it please suggest us.Also find attached project. @Tesla DeLorean

Hi, everyone. :)I am planning to make communication system with stm MCU.AND, at the same time, I should boot up 'Linux' OS on stm MCU, for matching with other systems.I'm just wondering that stm MCU can carry on Linus OS.If stm MCU can use Linux OS, Which MCU is suitable for debugging and operating?Please, give wisdom.Thank you!

Hi,I'm using a STM32L100RC discovery board for a project. I'm trying to communicate with the USB port (Communication Device Class). After configuring the USB and USB_DEVICE part with STM32CubeMX, I have the following errors on Keil : .\Objects\Keil_TEST.axf: Error: L6218E: Undefined symbol hpcd_USB_FS (referred from stm32l1xx_it.o).Not enough information to list image symbols.Not enough information to list load addresses in the image map.Finished: 2 information, 0 warning and 2 error messages."I tried to add "extern PCD_HandleTypeDef hpcd_USB_FS;" in the file stm32l1xx_it.c. and the header "usbd_conf.h" but it still doesn't work.Does anyone know how to solve this issue? Thank you in advance,Jay.
