I couldn't find it in the datasheet,, what capacity is this

You can interpret return value as boolean (and pass value as boolean for gpio read and write as long as you compile you project in C but as soon as tried to compile in C++ those are not compatibles with boolean but return GPIO_PIN_SET or GPIO_PIN_RESET which is not interpreted as boolean by the compiler. This is issue is on compilation side or HAL library side ? NB : Screenshot show error as int and not boolean. And I imported stbool :#ifndef __cplusplus   #define bool _Bool #define true 1 #define false 0 #else /* __cplusplus */   /* Supporting _Bool in C++ is a GCC extension. */ #define _Bool bool   #if __cplusplus < 201103L /* Defining these macros in C++98 is a GCC extension. */ #define bool bool #define false false #define true true #endif   #endif /* __cplusplus */NB : partially solved this issue by adding -fpermissive to my flags compiler as suggested by the compiler message. Thanks for your help.

I'm using the X-NUCLEO-53L1A1 and the STM32F401. As the user manual suggests. The GUI opens, but cannot detect the sensor. "Sensor Not Detected. Please ensure sensor connected then Press Black Reset Button on the Nucleo". The X-NUCLEO-53L1A1 is seated correctly in the STM32F401.Pressing the black button LD2 turns off briefly then turns back on but noting happens in the GUI. I've installed STSW-LINK007. Current Firmware: Version: V2.J39.M27Type: STM32 Debug+Mass storage + VCPThe host PC has the STLINK VP drivers installed. The ST virtual COM port is shown in my device manager. LD1 is lit red, so the Nucleo Kit is connected to the PC. I also have the VL53L5CX GUI. This works fine. I've seen that a few people have also run into this problem, but there does not seem to be any answers. Do you know what is happening @John E KVAM ?

Hi, I am working on FCCU module in SPC584B. I have enabled the IRQ Alarm for the Faults. When the Fault is simulated using fake fault, i am getting the IRQ Interrupt. But, on getting the Interrupt if i do not clear the fault, the interrupt keeps triggering. Is there a way that i can clear the IRQ interrupt Status Flag to de-assert the Interrupt.

Hello!I have been trying to configure the STM32F407VE as a SPI slave. My first time configuring a SPI device ever so its all new to me. You can see my SPI settings and code as an attachment.I am using software SS as I only have one slave and one master. Though I am polling the SS line of the master device to make sure I sync up okay as I best as I can before I only react on the master's clock signals later. The master device is a playstation 2 running a playstation 1 game. So far what I observe on my logic analyzer matches online docs which is reassuring. Here are the docs I am referring to.https://gamesx.com/controldata/psxcont/psxcont.htmhttps://store.curiousinventor.com/guides/PS2Where I am so far is that I am able to receive a byte from the master and am able to take some action on it. For my example, I can issue an acknowledge to the master to say I got the data okay. From what I understand, this is not part of SPI but is required when talking to a playstation 2 or 1 before it sen

Dear Sir/Madam,              This mail is regarding to know the status(lifecycle) of the component. We wanted to know the part status of these components like whether it is active or obsolete, and wanted to know whether it is RoHS complaint ,if in case it is obsolete means could you please suggest us an alternative part number for this. Please find the part details below.74V1G14CTR Ic, Digital, Sgl Inverter, Schmitt TrigKindly revert back to us ASAP.

In developing some activity classification models using the LSM6DSOX, I have noticed that some information regarding the computation of features appears absent from the documentation. For some features (mean, min, max, maybe more), it would appear that the raw components (X, Y, and Z) as well as the norm are scaled by a factor of 1/1000; similarly, the norm squared variable seems to get scaled by 1/1,000,000. However, this does not seem to hold for other features like variance or energy. This is based on analysis of results returned from the Unico API (as accessed from this repo: https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STMems_Machine_Learning_Core/tree/master/tools/mlc_python_script). Below I have displayed two printouts comparing the Unico result and manual computation of features in Python.Max value:Unico results: F27_MAX_on_ACC_X F28_MAX_on_ACC_V F29_MAX_on_ACC_V2 0 0.003998 0.006924 0.000048 1 0.003998 0.006924 0.000048   Manual results: A_X [mg] ACC_V ACC_V2 0 4.0 6.928203 48.

I adjust the code and now I don't have compiler errors but I have 3 link errors. The 3 library that I added in the link section are not found. I remove the extensionwhen add them in the list and set the files correct path. The attachments show my settings and the error.

I'm generating a CubeMX project for STM32H753.In the clock config, set the systick divisor 8 (see picture).Difference in the ioc file: for divisor 1:RCC.CortexFreq_Value=400000000For divisor 8:RCC.CortexFreq_Value=50000000RCC.Cortex_Div=SYSTICK_CLKSOURCE_HCLK_DIV8But the generated code is same for divisor 1 and 8.I don't understand where this divisor is used

I need to connect a Waveshare Electronics 5.5" HDMI AMOLED display that does not provide it's supported modes, their website states it needs to be configured manually with the followingmax_framebuffer_height=1920max_usb_current=1config_hdmi_boost=10hdmi_group=2hdmi_force_hotplug=1hdmi_mode=87hdmi_timings=1080 1 26 4 50 1920 1 8 2 6 0 0 0 60 0 135580000 3How would I do this on the openstlinux_eglfs st-example-image-qt image ?Thanks in advance.

I am using STM32H753 for driving 800x480 TFT LCD. Currently I am using External SDRAM for my FRAME BUFFER. I am using DMA2D and TFT LCD module of MCU.#define LCD_LAYER0_FRAME_BUFFER ((int)0xC0000000)#define LCD_LAYER1_FRAME_BUFFER ((int)0xC0300000)My code is working fine with above configuration.Currently I need only one layer for LCD.1) Can I use internal MEMORY of MCU instead of external SDRAM ?2) How to calculate frame buffer size for 800x480 TFT-LCD for RGB565 format ?

I am trying to use the ST25R3916DiscoComm.lib/.h/.dll in a QT project that were installed as a part of ST25R3916DiscoComm GUI application. I am able to use all these 3 files from within QT Creator (meaning that my program works well when launched from QT Creator with the release target, MSVC 2019 32-bit). However when I deploy the program I am getting an error indicating that Qt5SerialPortd.dll is missing. The emphasis here is the 'd' following Qt5SerialPort. I suspect that the *.lib supplied was built for a debug target (?). I am not sure what the problem is here. Any help is greatly appreciated.

As per datasheet of stm32f769ni, LSI frequency is temperature dependent. So watchdog reset timer can be affected as the LSI frequency varies. Is there any method to configure IWDG reload timer with specific interval of time with updated LSI frequency.

Hi All,today I have installed new STM32CubeIDE 1.8.0. Despite the current toolchain 9-2020-q2 is very old the new IDE does not update it. Will there be any GNU Tools for STM32 updates, or I should now use GNU Tools for ARM?Regards,Dmitry

Hello,I am using STM32F429BI.I use CubeIDE 1.7.0 and CubeMX. I use touchGFX 4.16.1 as a graphic tool. The LCD specification used is attached as a file.LTDC is set up like the attached image  My question is1. Are there any wrong LTDC settings?2. Do I need to initialize the LCD driver (ST7282) in the LCD after setting the LTDC?3. There are Sync mode and DE mode in the LCD data sheet. Is it possible to set Sync mode and DE mode in LTDC?If possible, what should I do?Thanks in advance.

Hi,I'm debugging code with floats. I am using live expressions to watch the values, but even though I choose the decimal format I am not getting the decimal places for float values. I seem to remember doing this in another project and getting the decimal places. Are there any settings you need to configure to get the thing to display floats correctly or doesn't the IDE do this?

Hi, I wish to use scroll wheel to set clocks and calendars.i.e. 0 to 23 for hours 0 to 59 for minutes and seconds 1 to 12 for months 1 to 28, 29, 30, 31 for datesFor calendars the month and dates need to start from 1 not zero. How can I set this when I initialize the scroll wheel.I see there is a setOffset, but it is s protected function and cannot be used.

Hi,I work with a development team that is developing a product that has a STM32L4S9 MCU and a IS66WVH8M8ALL-100 HyperBus PSRAM.Recently, we found in the STM32L4 Errata that actually this MCU does not support PSRAM. We noticed that the self-refresh was not occuring and data was being lost/corrupted.We tried changing the OctoSPI configuration, but any attempt did not work.  We measured nCS pin, and in fact it is not released in time (4us) to allow the refresh to occur. In our project we use this memory configured as memory mapped, so we can extend the internal memory . The RAM is used to save various user data, framebuffers and more.By looking at the HAL code we see that there is a memory type HAL_OSPI_MEMTYPE_MACRONIX_RAM. But we could not find any other OctoSPI RAM memory that is not PSRAM and has density of 64Mb (8MB).I wonder if someone has faced this same problem and could use, maybe, some OctoSPI Static RAM instead, that does not require self-refresh function.*We already know a

Can someone please test this?TouchGFX 4.18.0STM32CubeIDE 1.8.0STM32F469I-DISCOCreate a simple screen on TouchGFX and try to compile the project on CubeIDE.You would expect this to work "straight out the box". I am getting compile errors. This is surely a code/library configuration bug. There is no problem with STM32F746G-DISCO.

Hi,I was wondering if any of you have tried connecting the ST25R3911B to an external 50 ohm antenna via coaxial cable. My understanding is that this chip has a 50 ohm output and connecting an external antenna is possible although you lose the automatic tuning feature. I'm struggling to work out how the circuit would work in differential mode if you need to use 4 pins on the chip but the coaxial cable has only 2 connections. Are there any schematics somewhere that we could use as a reference when a connection to an external antenna is needed? Thanks
