Solved

I've grabbed the latest SVD files from https://www.st.com/resource/en/svd/stm32l4plus_svd.zip, and confirmed that the RTC section is incorrect. It contains an ISR register, as in an original STM32L4 RTC, but not the SR and ICSR registers as in the STM32L4 Plus line. I've checked all of the files in stm32l4plus_svd.zip and none of them has the SR and ICSR registers for the RTC. I haven't looked at these in depth, so there may be other errors as well. Please provide an updated SVD ASAP! Thanks.

Hello, I'm playing nfc on the ST25R3916 board.Currently, Tag is ISO/IEC 15693 and Firmware uses STSW-ST25R011.Write works well, but sometimes "time out errors" occur in the Read, GetSystem Information command, which requires response data. Is there a reason and solution?Below is the code for the current test.static Menu_Callback_Status_t tabTagWriteNdef(void) {   ReturnCode rc;   rfalNfcvInventoryRes InvRes = gDevList[0].dev.nfcv.InvRes;   uint16_t rcvLen;   uint8_t buffTmp[0x20]; // GetsystemInfo response data   uint8_t rxBuf[ 1 + 4 + RFAL_CRC_LEN ]; // Read response data         rc = rfalNfcvPollerReadSingleBlock(RFAL_NFCV_REQ_FLAG_DEFAULT, InvRes.UID, 0, rxBuf, sizeof(rxBuf), &rcvLen);   rc = rfalNfcvPollerGetSystemInformation(RFAL_NFCV_REQ_FLAG_DEFAULT, InvRes.UID, (uint8_t *)buffTmp, sizeof(buffTmp), &rcvLen );   return MEND_CALLBACK_LAST; }I'd appreciate it if you could answer me.

I am using the following settings: STM32 CubeMX version 6.3.0Microcontroller: STM32L4P5ZGTxPEnabled peripherals: ADC1: SCAN mode: disabledCONT and DISCONT mode disabledContinuous DMA requests enabledUsing EXTI 11 to runDMA1 channel 1: Circular modeMemory word incrementsNo DMA synchronization requestsWhen I generated the code (checked for both Keil and Cube IDE), the initialization part of the main looked like this: ... MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_ADC1_Init(); MX_DMA_Init(); ...The ADC runs, and if the interrupts are set, you'll get the interrupts. But the DMA callback routine is never entered. When I changed the order to first initialize the DMA, and then the ADC1, the problem was solved. I would like to see if anyone can confirm this, or is it due to something else (possibly?).

In the card that comes with the board says it has 16 Kbytes of EEPROM. Here is the link from the website (can't find anything about EEPROM): https://www.st.com/en/microcontrollers-microprocessors/stm32l462re.htmlAlso can't find anything about EEPROM in the datasheet nor the HAL Drivers files.

I've designed an FOC driver borad using STM32F302.The ADC that samples the resistor current is set left-align in the generated code by MotorControl Workbench 5.4.7.Does ADC have to be left-aligned?Due to this, the ADC value is always out of bound

Hello everyone,I looked into DS11597 Rev 4 datasheet (page 104) and the mentioned TN1263 (SPC582Bx IO definition: Signal description and input multiplexing tables) documents, but I could not figure out, whether the SPC582B60E1Cx with 3 (x=0,D) CAN interfaces is able to output CAN4_sys1 peripheral. I need CAN output on the pins 61 and 62 (i.e., PC12 and PC13 or PAD[44] and PAD[45]).I assume, that the 0 and D version only has CAN0_sys0,CAN1_sys0,CAN2_sys0, am I right? In the SPC5 Studio it seems as if I can only use the version with 7 CAN interfaces.Could you tell me, how to select the version with 3 CAN interfaces in the PinMap Editor? Is it possible to get samples of the SPC582B60E1CG or ..CH or ..MG or ..MH?Thank you very much for your answers in advance.Best regards,Christopher Seifert

Hello,I compared the datasheet of L6562 and L6562A. Section 7.2 of L6562A mentioned that inv pin has dual functions and can be used as disable function. Is there the same function in L6562?If not, what way should L6599A use the switch to control L6562? (I saw in L6599A that L6599A can control L6562, mentioned in Figure21).Thank you

As the datasheet wrote, the full scale of angular rate measurement range is 2000 dps, and the output value is a 16-bit word in two’s complement, so when we set the angular rate measurement range to 2000 dps, the sensitivity (unit mdps/LSB)could be caculated : 2000 * 1000 / 32767 = 61.03. （1 dps = 1000 mdps）But the datasheet wrote it is 70 (Typ.) Why it is 70 but not 61.03？The same way we caculate the sensitivity of acceleration(unit mg/LSB): 16 *1000 / 32767 = 0.488, it match the value wrote in the datasheet.

Hi, When selecting LSI as output for LSCO pin, and generating code with integrated STM32CubeMX, no output is seen on LSCO pin. I have to manually add a call to this to see LSI on LSCO pin.HAL_RCCEx_EnableLSCO(RCC_LSCOSOURCE_LSI);When using MCO pin instead of LSCO pin, the code for source clock selection is generated correctly.I'm using STM32CubeIDE v1.7.0. and STM32L432KCU MCU.Thanks and kind regards,Pedro.

Can the AM3160 document also be used for a SPC563M64L5 microcontroller?

Hello everyone.I have 2 incremental encoders. One of them has the output voltage of signals A and B 5 volts and the other one 24 volts. I need to count the increments with stm32f4 and timers in the mode encoder. But I have to first convert the 5 and 24 volts to 3.3. Can I use a comparator like LM393? Does it support high frequency of the encoder?Or do you have any other suggestions? I also tried Voltage Divider but it didn't work.Thank you so much.

I am using CAN in normal mode and produced code using STM32CubeMX ide for Keil uVision IDE. While running the code my program stuck in HAL_CAN_INIT(). It produces a timeout error.I am not having any CAN transceiver so I am having only STM32 Nucleo Board connected to the power supply. So How to resolve this issue. Is there any way to debug the code without transceiver?

In order to test the X-NUCLEO-6283A1 I installed its GUI (en.VD6283_Setup_v1.0.0.exe).I also installed the ST Link USB driver (as suggested in the GUI Guidelines) and the board is correctly recognized by the host. The GUI seems working fine the very first time. However the communication between the GUI and the Nucleo board is glitchy/faulty and errors are reported when the GUI is started the next time or Start button is clicked. If bluetooth is disabled (as suggested in the GUI guidelines) I cannot even establish the communication with the Nucleo board. The Flash FW button is not working. I have to manually load the BIN file (console_app_VD6283.bin) by dragging it in the NOD_F401RE drive.Could you check the application FW and GUI SW?Notes: on the same host I can correctly run GUIs for VL53L0X, VL53L1, VL53L1X and VL53L5CX.

Hello everyone,I'm currently developing a project using Touchgfx on a custom board with a STM32F469II and a 1024x600 screen on RGB565 format. i'm using an external flash running at 100 MHz and an external SDRAM of 8 MB with 4 banks used like so:The first bank contains the first frame buffer. The second bank contains the second frame buffer (use for multi-buffering).The third bank is the animation storage space (use for slide transition between screens). The end of the third bank and the forth bank contains the dynamic bitmap cache where I put pictures from the SD card (my external flash of 8MB is already full).I'm having a trouble where, when I'm performing some animations, a part of the screen is swapped horizontally (see pictures where I've reproduced what this looks like). This happens for a frame or 2 at a time but is very noticeable. Here's what information I could gather:This only happens when the DMA2D in on (If I stop it, the MCU load reaches above 80%, the screen visibly lags a

I've been developing with STM32F4 products for years. Never used HAL or Cube products as I've hand configured everything.Beginning a new MultiCore project using STM32H745. I find using CubeMX that when I select a peripheral (like SDMMC1 or SAI4 for example) - the tool selects what pins it wants to assign - and will NOT let me assign a different alternative pin.How can I force the tool to use MY pin selection? If I have used one of the peripheral default pins for something else - It make the whole peripheral RED and will not take my inputs. So far I find the tool very unusable so I'm hoping someone can tell me how I can tell the tool what I want - not what it wants. Please Note - Use SAI4 for example - I selected the alternative pin, I assigned its function from the dropdown list - but when I try to enable the peripheral - its ALL RED - so I have pins assigned but no peripheral enabled or recognized for code generation. Thanks

I design a stm32h743 board without conformal coating, it works good, when I shacked board, stm32h743 failed and burnt.what's that reason?thank you

Hi,I'm working QSMP-1570 SOM. There is STM32MP157C on it. I am trying to communicate between processors using RPMSG.I see that RPMSG's are formed under /dev.ttyRPMSG0, ttyRPMSG1.I'm opened serial port in linux side;if ((fd = open("/dev/ttyRPMSG0", O_RDONLY | O_NOCTTY)) < 0)  {    GL.status |= YNDL_STATUS_FATAL_ERROR;    fd = STDERR_FILENO;    return EXIT_FAILURE;  }Then when i call function write();write(fd, buffer, 200); // return -1Function retruns errno:11 (Resource temporarily unavailable)Buffer in IPCC isn't it ring buffer?Why am I getting an error ?

Hello :)I'm new with TouchGFX and I'm doing official TouchGFX tutorials.I came up with the problem - code is properly generated and target/simulation can be run, but when I use buttons up/down then not number but question mark is displayed.I'm using STM32F7508-DK.Does anyone have any idea what is the problem?

In STM32CubeIDE 1.7.0, when I enable ethernet MII, I get a conflict on several ADC inputs, but in particular on IN10 (PC0) which is hardwired to the Arduino connector ARD_A0 and does not go anywhere near the ethernet interface.Any ideas how this can be corrected?ThanksJohn

Hello,I am building a project using a batch script which is calling stm32cubeidec.exe to build the separate entities. The project contains a bootloader as well as main application code. I am wondering the best way to combine the two binary files in the batch script into one complete binary for flashing.I have a specific bootloader size and I know where the application code will be flashed. I just need to figure out the best way to combine them into one binary file.

I find an error in the RM0090(STM32F4 Reference manual) as follows:But I don't know how to report it. Please help me.

I have a code for stm32g070 which configure the adc as continuous conversion mode, sequencer set to fully configurable, scan conversion mode, dma continuous request, end of sequence conversion, oversampling mode right shift to 5 and ratio 32x.Also I configure the dma as circular mode with peripheral to memory direction, using an array buffer uint16_t with 1200 halfword size, and enabling half transfer, complete transfer, and error transfer interrupt. When the conversion start, the half transfer rise, but the buffer is completely full, and after complete transfer end, the buffer is overwritten. Here the code:void my_adc_start_scanning_channels_with_dma(void){ __IO uint32_t backup_setting_adc_dma_transfer = 0U; __IO uint32_t wait_loop_index = 0UL;   if(LL_ADC_IsInternalRegulatorEnabled(MY_ADC_HANDLER) != 0){ if(LL_ADC_IsEnabled(MY_ADC_HANDLER)){ LL_ADC_Disable(MY_ADC_HANDLER);   while(LL_ADC_IsDisableOngoing(MY_ADC_HANDLER) != 0); }   LL_ADC_DisableInternalReg

I just got an STM32 Nucleo 64 - F411RE.The board has a crystal installed on the debugger, and a crystal oscillator on the board.Do I need to install an external crystal in the provided space X3? and how can I do so?It's my first time using STM32 I don't really know what to do.I will be using the board with FREE RTOS to drive motors for a robotic arm.
