Hi, I have a custom board with STM32H7A3 using FMC, LLTC and other modules. I started to develop the firmware to change some images in a display. I made one project on TouchGFX with multiple images and fonts. I verify the BitmapDatabase.cpp and the all images files generated. For each image file generated for example:LOCATION_PRAGMA("ExtFlashSection") KEEP extern const unsigned char image_attention_all[] LOCATION_ATTRIBUTE("ExtFlashSection") = { // 223x265 RGB888 pixels. 0x0b, 0xba, 0xf7, 0x0b, 0xba, 0xf7, 0x0b, 0xba, 0xf7, 0x0b, 0xba, 0xf7, ... ...}In my application.ld file I put that configurations that I view on https://support.touchgfx.com/4.18/docs/development/scenarios/using-non-memory-mapped-flash /* Specify the memory areas */ MEMORY { DTCMRAM (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x20000000, LENGTH = 128K RAM (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x24000000, LENGTH = 1024K ITCMRAM (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x00000000, LENGTH = 64K FLASH1 (rx) : ORIGIN = 0x8000000, LENGTH = 512K FLASH2 (rx) : ORIGIN = 0x8100000, LENGTH = 512K

EDIT: (normal text: fixed/sorted out(see the new program code in the end) | in bold - still needing help)Hi, guys! So, I just got this board yesterday and I am having some trouble.First, the LCD doesn't go on! I plug the power supply, LD9 goes on, plugging the micro A to the computer using the STLINK USB Port, I get red at the LD12 and that's all;I was following a tutorial on Udemy on how to blink a LED, but although the LED goes on, it doesn't blink; I even downloaded CubeProg and did those resets to see if 'd help, but it didn't;Another thing is: How can I completely 'turn off' CM4, so that it doesn't appear on CubeIDE, doesn't generate errors and so on?I tried to disable it using OB, but still. Every time I create an STM32 Project on the IDE it is there on the project tree, and I'd have to setting everything up for it as well. The code I am trying is: #include "stm32h757xx.h"   #define GPIOKEN (1U<<10) //page 492 #define PIN6 (1U << 5) #define LED_PIN (P

I'm using this guide: https://stm32-base.org/guides/connecting-your-debugger.html.

Hi there,I have a small question about the Radio IRQ lines on the STM32WL series. As far as I am aware, there are two MCU interrupts tied to the SUBGHZ radio: the RFBUSY interrupt (EXTI45) and the SUBGHZ_Radio_IRQ (EXTI44). However, when setting up the radio, there is the option to configure 3 separate IRQ lines. What is the purpose of this if there is only one interrupt available on the MCU side? Thanks,Rebecca

I'm having a real nasty bug and finally found the reason for it. But the thing is, that I don't understand where it comes from.I calculate a variable within method A of a class and at the end of said method i pass it to method B by value. When stepping through the code. I get the correct result for my variable of 700 befor passing it to method B, but it evaluates to 200 within method B. The variable is local to method A. I also use the m_ naming convention for class members. I'm fairly desperate by now and willing to share most of my code if it helps, at least the class that is.here are the two methods and the values I call them with:Method A gets called with targetPos as 1000.void Stepper::SetTargetPos(uint16_t targetPos) { if (!m_enabled || targetPos == m_posTimer->CNT) { return; }   if (targetPos > m_posTimer->ARR) { m_targetPos = m_posTimer->ARR; } else { m_targetPos = targetPos; }   uint16_t currentPos = m_posTimer->CNT;   uint16_t di

Hi I am learning to write driver code for SPI. Hello! My case is:I have an array of 100 items, but now I know only the first 10 are used so I'd like to watch only the first ten variables.I know I can list the individual array items one after another (e.g, arr[0], arr[1] and so on to arr[9]), but I was wondering if there's a better way to do it.I imagined something likearr[0-10]arr[:10]arr[0], 10arr, 10Thanks!

Hello everyone,Objective : Send pixel data to LCD module using DSI-HOST on APB command mode. What I can do :+ Read the LCD module's GRAM content ..+ Send basic commands like Turn ON / OFF the Display, Pixels, Sleep IN / OUT ..+ Send long write commands to update some GRAM content.+ Update the whole GRAM content 100 pixels at a time (super slow). The Challenge :- I can't send long write commands with payloads of more than ~350 Bytes (350/3 pixels).- Datasheets of both the MCU and the LCD module clearly mention that payload can be as long as 65536 bytes. But whenever I try to send a payload that's longer than 350 bytes, I get overrun flags and transmission fail until the next payload is loaded to FIFO again.=> Does anyone know why that is ? (350 bytes = OK, more than that is NOK).Context :- MCU : STM32F469- LCD module : OTM8009AThank you

With the HAL on an STM32U5 nucleo i can HAL_SAI_DMAPause() HAL_SAI_DMAResume() HAL_SAI_DMAStop() HAL_SAI_Receive_DMA() HAL_SAI_Transmit_DMA()Wouldn't it make sense to have aHAL_SAI_DMAStart()?With this nomenclature i don't have a clue how to tx/rx data to/from an audio device. Where can i find an official, minimal reproducible example utilizing either the receive-function or the rxCompleteCallbacks?

Hello,I'm trying to use the CSMA feature but got the same problem as herehttps://community.st.com/s/question/0D50X0000B28om0SQA/s2lp-trying-to-get-csmaca-working.I tried to use the S2-LP DK GUI with X-NUCLEO-S2868A2 with NUCLEO-L053R8 to directly configure registers in Registers table (already configure Radio settings through GUI), so you should be able to reproduce the same behaviour. I change through the GUI the following registers :CSMA configurationaddr |  Register  | Value 0x18 |  RSSI_TH | 0x40 (-82 dBm)0x3A |  PROTOCOL1 | CSMA_ON = 0x010x4C | CSMA_CONFIG3 | 0xFA0x4D | CSMA_CONFIG2 | 0x210x4E | CSMA_CONFIG1 | BU_PRSC = 0x20                     CCA_PERIOD = 0x00 (64xTbit)0x4F | CSMA_CONFIG0 | CCA_LEN = 0x01                   &nbsp

Hello,I am working on the STM32G0B1RE processor as a USB-PD SINK.I would like to ask what is the easiest and fastest method (preferably using CubeMX) to request higher voltages from the USB-PD port (for example 9V or 12V)? Can anyone share the simplest code to request a different voltage from USB-PD than 5V?Thank you and best regards.

I saw that with STemWIN library it was possible but is no longer supported on stm32h7 mcu and also in the ST page is reported to use toucgGFX (and stmCube) tools insted STemWIN.Hou can I add a VNC server module on TouchGFX?

Hello Members,I am new to STM32 MCUs. I am trying to generate PWM and try to modify on fly and it works. But my requirement is to have a delay between two pulse on time and it should not align to each other on any edge. Please see the photo to understand the expected output. So requirement is, How to put Delay or offset Between two or multiple PWM Pulse? MCU: STM32L476STM32CubeIDE 1.8.0ThanksBhavik

We are developing both an Android and iOS app that leverages FTM from the ST25DV chip. In the Android version of the NFC Tap app, we can send custom commands and interact with FTM. However, in the iOS app, there is no "send custom command" screen. I know in iOS there is a section for FTM where you can send pictures and files, but why is this functionality missing from the iOS app. More to the point... Can we send custom commands in iOS that leverages FTM mode? Our iOS developer has been struggling for months to get this to work. Can someone please confirm that sending custom commands and FTM is supported in iOS. Thanks in advance.Mariano

I have downloaded the source of the iOS NFC-Tap app (version: en.STSW-ST25IOS002_v3.8.0). When I build the project in xCode, I receive the following error:en.STSW-ST25IOS002_v3.8.0/NFCTap/SwiftTryCatch/SwiftTryCatch.h:30:11: 'STException.h' file not foundHow can I fix this?

I am currently working with the STM32F769I-Eval Board and I want to use the LTDC only using the internal RAM with a 800*480 display with no internal RAMTo achieve this I want to have the frame buffer defined as L8_RGB888 to have a 800*480= 384kB + LUT, of the RAM dedicated to the frame buffer.I have configured LTDC withDisplay Type RGB888Layer 0 pixel format to L8However, when I try to configure the TouchGFX, Frame buffer pixel format can only be set to RGBA2222 (and variants). This creates a 8bpp LUT with equally distributed colors, i.e, only possible values are 0x00,0x55,0xAA, 0xFF, which kills the purpose of the the LUT.Is it possible to really define a LUT and a frame buffer which uses this LUT? Or in other words, to set the Frame buffer pixel format from TouchGFX to L8_RGB888?I am using:STM32 Cube vesrion 1.8STM32Cube MCU Packed for STM32F7 1.16.2X Cube-touchgfx.4.18.1

Hi,I am very new to STM32 & IO-Link community. We are thinking of implementing IO-Link for our sensor based structures. I have purchased two boards (P-NUCLEO-IOD01A1 & P-NUCLEO-IOM01M1) for slave and master communication. Can anybody please guide me how to achieve the following:Communicate between the P-NUCLEO-IOD01A1 & P-NUCLEO-IOM01M1 to read the Sensor Data? How to use the stack to read and output the data from either or both the boards? Thanks  Azeem

Hi, I'm trying to communicate with multiple spi slave sensors using STM32F401.I need to access the sensors many times in 1ms period, so I want to drive SPI1 and SPI2 in parallel.I set SPI1 and SPI2 to use DMA, then called, HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive_DMA function with SPI1 then with SPI2.My expectation was SPI1 sclk and SPI2 sclk signal would output almost simultaneously, but result was not like that.During SPI1 sclk outputting, SPI2 sclk line is silent. After SPI1 sclk output finished, SPI2 sclk started. Can I realize SPI1 and SPI2 output in parallel?

Problem Occurrence Process : Create STM32H747-DISCO Project with TouchGFX Designer -> rename Screen1 of TouchGFX Designer to Main -> rename project files in Windows folder window -> Build in STM32CubeIDE -> Run (error occurred)I proceeded in the same order as in the video below.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q-mfuzW6S-0If you know how to solve this problem or how to use TouchGFX and STM32CubeIDE together without any problems, I hope anyone can let me know.Thank you for your kindness.Version and Hardware:STM32CubeIDE 1.8.0TouchGFX Designer 4.18.1STM32H747-DISCO

When I make debug, program steps appear where there are no brekpoints. It shows the debug steps in the description lines.

Hello guys,I have a STM32WB application that runs bluetooth and PKA peripherals. We did setup this both peripherals a long time ago and was all going smooth. Our PKA is properly working using ISR, all the hardware semaphores were validated (including PKA Hw Semaphore) and running properly, BLE is perfectly communicating.Until couple days ago we found a out a bug that, after a new device is paired to the STM32WB, in the following PKA operation, the ISR simply is not called. Without using the ISR the PKA generates a wrong result aswell.During some debugging, i saw that after a pairing operation, the PKA Control Register assumes the value 0x2200, but i stil didn't find what this means. If we reset the device, we didn't find any problem at all. We're able to communicate using BLE, use the PKA peripheral and everything works properly. Our only problem right now is after we pair a device and tries to use PKA right afterwards. I'm using CubeMX V1.7, STM32WB SDK V1.13.1 and BLE Stack Full V1.1
