I am using BLE_AT_CLIENT example from STM32CubeIDE 1.7.0 but nothing detected either on ST BLE SENSOR app or on my computer/smartphone normal bluetooth scan. I have 2 B-U585I-IOT02A and both give the exact same error message on teraterm. Also here is the log from console.

Hello,I'm using a Nucleo board (NUCLEO-G070RB) with STM32F103RB MCU and I try to use channel 11 of ADC1 mapped to PC1 to get values from a humidity sensor. I noticed that the values are invalid and it's not because of the sensor. I created a sample application and connected PC1 to VCC but the values are about 2000 instead of 4095. When I connect to GND I get same values instead of 0.Here is the code:#include "stm32f103xb.h" uint32_t adcValue = 0; int main(void) { /* Enable GPIOC clock */ RCC->APB2ENR |= (1U<<4); /* Configure PC1 to analog input */ GPIOC->CRL &= ~(1U<<4); // MODE1[0]: 0 GPIOC->CRL &= ~(1U<<5); // MODE1[1]: 0 input mode GPIOC->CRL &= ~(1U<<6); // CNF1[0]: 0 GPIOC->CRL &= ~(1U<<7); // CNF1[1]: 0 analog mode #if 0 /* Enable GPIOA clock */ RCC->APB2ENR |= (1U<<2); /* Configure PA1 to analog input */ GPIOA->CRL &= ~(1U<<4); // MODE1[0]: 0 GPIOA->CRL &= ~(1U<<5

Hello Everyone, I am trying to transmit data using DMA with SPI1 but each time I end up with a FIFO Error.. I 'm using Direct mode, MINC = 1, PINC = 0, DMA2, STREAM3, CHANNEL 3 For SPI_TX. I'm trying to send "Hello, World!!" But each time the FEIF3 is set. Each Time the FEIF3 Flag in the DMA2->LISR is set and the data gets corrupted & Garbage data is sent. #STM32F4 #DMA #SPI #FIFO #FIFO_ERROR

I use STM32F1 Value Line Discovery Kit.I would like to have a common interrupt handler and call the corresponding handler from that common handler.I am assuming the following.Specifically, I am trying to get the IPSR number from its common handler and call the corresponding function pointer.------------------------------------------- vec_common: // Set this as a common handler for all vector tables. push {r4,r5,r6,r7,r8,r9,r11,LR} MRS r0 , IPSR bl interrput // Call interrput() with the first argument being the value of IPSR. pop {r4-r11, PC} ------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------- typedef void (handler)(void); handler int_hdlr[61];   void interrput(int int_no){ handler hdlr = int_hdlr[int_no]; if(handler){ handler(); // Call the handler for the corresponding interrupt } } -------------------------------------------I generated the UART3 interrupt and looked at the into_no (IPSR) in the interrupt function and found it to be 0

Using STM32H743ZII am using SPI1 in 2 lines Rx only mode with DMA2 Stream 2 as in ST exampleI use Rx DMA with a buffer located in D2 RAM. Using debugger I found that the first reception works well, data gets written into my buffer. But my DMA doesn't fire any interrupt, so the next transfers do not work.Here is my init code :hdma_spi1_rx.Instance = DMA2_Stream2;   hdma_spi1_rx.Init.FIFOMode = DMA_FIFOMODE_DISABLE; hdma_spi1_rx.Init.FIFOThreshold = DMA_FIFO_THRESHOLD_FULL; hdma_spi1_rx.Init.MemBurst = DMA_MBURST_INC4; hdma_spi1_rx.Init.PeriphBurst = DMA_PBURST_INC4; hdma_spi1_rx.Init.Request = DMA_REQUEST_SPI1_RX; hdma_spi1_rx.Init.Direction = DMA_PERIPH_TO_MEMORY; hdma_spi1_rx.Init.PeriphInc = DMA_PINC_DISABLE; hdma_spi1_rx.Init.MemInc = DMA_MINC_ENABLE; hdma_spi1_rx.Init.PeriphDataAlignment = DMA_PDATAALIGN_BYTE; hdma_spi1_rx.Init.MemDataAlignment = DMA_MDATAALIGN_BYTE; hdma_spi1_rx.Init.Mode = DMA_NORMAL; hdma_spi1_rx.Init.Priority = DMA_PRIORITY_HIGH;   if (HAL_DMA_Init(&a

Hello,it seems to me, that cubemx uses a too small framebuffer for the display on the STM32F769 DISCOVERY board. The Display has 800 by 480 pixel but the real size used by the DMA is for 832 by 480. I guess that has to do with the HSYNC, horizontal front and back porch. The problem is, that when you have your framebuffer together with other data in the same memory the dma possibly overwrites parts of other data because of a too small defined framebuffer.If I manually change the settings in the TouchGFXGeneratedHAL.cppLOCATION_PRAGMA("TouchGFX_Framebuffer")uint32_t frameBuf[(832 * 480 * 2 + 3) / 4]LOCATION_ATTRIBUTE("TouchGFX_Framebuffer");it will be overwritten next time you save cubemx settings. If you change it in the cubemx TouchGFX Generator, the framebuffer will be right, but the TouchGFX functions add another 32 pixel to the 832 pixel.Are there any settings I have missed to solve this problem?Best Regards,Kai

I can monitor the SAI2 signals directly from the audio codec pins. The MCLK, SCLK, and Fs signals appear correctly based on my configuration but when I connect my oscilloscope to the GPIO header pins (CN2), the lines all appear low even though they are changing for the codec. This doesn't happen with the I2C1 pins connected to the audio codec. I can monitor those just fine from their respective GPIO header pins, which leads me to believe it isn't an issue with the pins being configured as alternate function. Is there a reason or solution for this?

Hi all,I'am new user on the site and I need help for an error I did not find on internet.I use STM32CUBEIDE 1.8.0When debugging, if I read LIVE EXPRESSION I have the following windows, alse on SFR windows :The other windows works perfectlyI try to reinstall CUBEIDE after delete the old directories and after a clean register with regedit ........ sill the same errorThank you for your helpPatrick

I have this IC with the part number 3485EB, found the datasheet but it doesn't explain what this marking code below the part number (M2123) means. What does that mean?

Hi,I am interested by taking an exemple as a base for starting a project but i can't change his name (StemWin hellowolrd for the STM32H7B3 discovery board).RegardsJP

Look at this forum! Almost no one is getting answers for their questions from ST!I have received one answer from ST only. I guess I am lucky. Thank you. I asked 3 more questions - no luck.I have opened the case with online support, It was "escalated". Still no answer.What is the point of the product if you are not providing some minimal level of support?Did anyone even successfully tested the STEVAL-SPIN3202? Or I just wasting time following ST "manuals"?

Hİ. I have been working on motor control applications. There are PID, FOC and SVPWM blocks that have contain functions like sin(), cos(), clarke(), park() etc. I used CMSIS DSP library called "arm_mat.h". My microprocessor is STM32F407 M4. I can control the motor but i want to reduce my execution times. I use STM32CubeIDE. How can ı enable fpu of STM32F407? Maybe it enable but i dont know how can i view fpu enable or disable in STM32CubeIDE?

Hello,I changed cubeIDE project structure, put files to folders to make it look cleaner, then changed project location. I managed to fix all linker errors etc. code builds and flashes, but the problem I encounter is that when I try to open cubeMx file I get error.Is there a way to make .ioc file active project file? It is the same file just in other location, which was linked in paths.

My fellow student says TIM12 has 2 channels and PH9 is configured for TIM12 channel 2 as per the below datasheet.https://www.st.com/resource/en/datasheet/stm32h743vi.pdfNow I argue that the tim12 channel 2 is configured to PB15.And he stupidly configured this way.""" GPIO_InitStruct.gpio_port    = GPIOH; GPIO_InitStruct.configure.Pin  = GPIO_PIN_9; GPIO_InitStruct.configure.Mode = GPIO_MODE_AF_PP; GPIO_InitStruct.configure.Pull = GPIO_NOPULL; GPIO_InitStruct.configure.Speed = GPIO_SPEED_FREQ_LOW; GPIO_InitStruct.configure.Alternate = GPIO_AF2_TIM12;"""Who is right and who is wrong? is PH9 (my friends) or PB15 correct?

I asked a question before on the routine SPD_GetAvrgMecSpeedUnit but the answers did not address what I was looking for. https://community.st.com/s/question/0D53W00000xsTlzSAE/information-on-the-c-code-procedure-spdgetavrgmecspeedunit-This routine returns the average mechanical rotor speed and is called every Medium Frequency Task (1ms). The routine itself returns a pointer to SpeednPosFdbk_Handle_t..I can't seem to find where the average speed is actually computed.? It is a moving average computed over STO_FIFO_DEPTH_UNIT samples (currently set to 64).The Medium Frequency Task occurs every 1ms but the motor FOC calculations are updated every PWM period. Is the speed of the new sample put in the buffer calculated over 1ms or is it a "instantaneous" value measured between PWM periods?My concern with the moving average filter is the linear phase incurs a large phase delay even at low frequencies (see bode) Thanks for any help you can give,Regards,

Here is my c++ code:void print_console(std::string msg){ const char *p = msg.c_str();  HAL_UART_Transmit_DMA(CONSOLE, p, strlen(msg));  while (console_tx_flag == 0); // Wait until the uart transmit is complete  console_tx_flag = 0;}Does anyone know how to fix this? The error is pointing to the HAL_UART_Transmis_DMA()Thank you!

Hello,I hope someone can help me. After days over days reading docs, other questions and so on i am still confused how all the LTDC and DSI stuff works.OK, so what i have is a STM32F469 Disovery board which already has a display on it.I create a project in touchgfx with just a blue screen and 4 white boxes in the corners.Opened in the IDE i can upload it and it works. No wonder, it is all original.Now i changed the display using the same FPC connector. I am using a small pcb for changing the wires to match the spec of the new display.It is also 2 lane DSI.As program "template" i still use one of the 469-discoI removed all the otm8009a stuff, and used the power-on sequence of the new display with the HX8363 instead of the OTM8009aHAL_DSI_ShortWrite(&hdsi, 0x00, DSI_DCS_SHORT_PKT_WRITE_P1, 0x11, 0x00); HAL_Delay(201); uint8_t enExtCmd[5] = {0xFF, 0x83, 0x63}; HAL_DSI_LongWrite(&hdsi, 0x00, DSI_DCS_LONG_PKT_WRITE, 4, 0xB9, enExtCmd); uint8_t setLaneNumer[15] ={0x80, 0x00, 0x10, 0x

This is running on Linux and I created a test program with the same include and compiled it with g++ without issue.I think I need to tell CudeIDE where the standard libraries are located? If that is so, Where do I find them?Thanks!!

Hello,I am working on a college project and struggle with sending a message to the virtual terminal using USART interrupt.I work with following code:void UART_Send (uint8_t *buffer){ USART1->CR1 |= USART_CR1_TXEIE; // Enable TXE Interrupt USART1->DR = buffer[0]; // Send data }   void USART1_IRQHandler(void) { // Check TXE flag int Tx1_Counter=0; if(USART1->SR & USART_SR_TXE) { Tx1_Counter++; if(Tx1_Counter <= strLength(buffer) - 1) { USART1->DR = buffer[Tx1_Counter] & 0xFF; } else { } // Transmission completes Tx1_Counter = 0; // Clear the counter // Disable TXE interrupt USART1->CR1 &= ~USART_CR1_TXEIE; } }I set up whole init using registers which currently looks like this:#include <stdio.h> #include "stm32f103x6.h" #include "util.h"   void USART_Init (USART_TypeDef * USARTx) { // Default setting: // No hardware flow control, 8 data bits, no parity, 1 start bit and 1 stop bit USA
