Hello,I'm facing problems thinking about how to read RF data using my 03A1 reader using FTM.My main point is to see if I can decrease RF reading times of a message (8 bytes, so really short) using the ISO15693 standard.My first firmware uses 04A1 tag and 03A1 reader, and it's fine, it needs about 80ms to complete the reading/decoding of the NDEF message via RF reader, reading the tag's EEPROM.I was asking myself if it's possible to reduce more this reading time, and I'm struggling in understanding how to read RF data from the 04A1 mailbox using my 03A1 reader.I currently use an Arduino board with Arduino libraries from ST, which lets me configure and write messages to the mailbox via I2C. The main question is: how to read this mailbox using the reader via RF?The library seems not talking about this, only refers to tag mailbox and MCU tag side.I found the embedded library described in the file AN5512, but it only works using STM Cube. Do I need to use it? Is this the only way?Thank you

Hi,I am using stm32mp157c and working initialize mtd nand flash w25n512. I am following the https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/MTD_overview . I don't have choise "Support most SPI Flash chips (AT26DF, M25P, W25X, ...)" in chapter 3.1.2 in my kernel menuconfig. Did I not open a section that I should have opened or is there a different problem?Best Regards,Ali Mesut Ince

MCU STM32F765GZMy Problem:EXTI_LINE_0-4 has separate IRQ handlers but al are occupied.EXTI_LINE_5-9 share the same IRQhandler and also priority. pin 6 is needed with prio 1(brownout mon)EXTI_LINE_10-15 share the same IRQhandler and also priority. pin 12 is needed with prio 2(paperclip btn)I need an interrupt on pin 5 with a low prio(10)Solution: keep EXTI_LINE_5-9 with prio 1. Let handler find out if the interrupt was for pin 5, and if so trigger a low prio software interrupt which in turn wil execute my low prio code.Question: I find the documentation here to be confusing. How can I set up an software interrupt with its own priority to handle this? I dont want to change priority of something else here. Is it possible for the sw interrupt to have its own handler? how?thank you in advance!

Hello,As reported in the picture attached, an error occurs while trying to edit the CSELR register of the DMA. It seems to lack of the definitions of several register...how can i solve it? I am using NucleoSTM32L476RG and STM32IDEThanksRegards

Hi,I'm using extended ID for my CAN bus. I want to filter ID 0x12.My code is working well when I receive an extended ID frame with containing the ID 0x12. If the received ID is something else than 0x12, the FIFO callback isn't triggered.CAN_FilterTypeDef sFilterConfig;     sFilterConfig.FilterBank = 0;   sFilterConfig.FilterMode = CAN_FILTERMODE_IDMASK;   sFilterConfig.FilterScale = CAN_FILTERSCALE_32BIT;   sFilterConfig.FilterIdHigh = 0;   sFilterConfig.FilterIdLow = 0x12 << 3;   sFilterConfig.FilterMaskIdHigh = 0;   sFilterConfig.FilterMaskIdLow = 0xFF << 3;   sFilterConfig.FilterFIFOAssignment = CAN_RX_FIFO0;   sFilterConfig.FilterActivation = ENABLE;   sFilterConfig.SlaveStartFilterBank = 27;     HAL_CAN_ConfigFilter(&hcan1, &sFilterConfig);However, when I receive a standard ID frame, whatever the ID is, my FIFO callback is triggered.So I'd like to discard all the standard ID frames that

The motor will stall at lower RPM,We found that the MCU did not detect a high current pull before the rotor stalled.Stop the motor because of MC_LF_TIMER_FAILURE (RUN_STAY_WHILE_STALL_MS set to 2000, should be enough),Is there any parameter that can be adjusted so that the current is pulled up before the rotor is blocked?In addition, should the detected motor current be pulled high after the rotor is locked (maintain RUN_STAY_WHILE_STALL_MS for some time) ?

Hello everyone.I need to implement a encoder/decoder for ADAT protocol (see https://ackspace.nl/wiki/ADAT_project for more details about ADAT protocol) and I don't know if some STM32 MCUs is able for that.As you can see in the image the encoder must receive four I2S streams and encoding them for ADAT protocol. The decoder must receive the ADAT protocol and split it in four I2S streams.Please, anyone can tell me how I can check if some STM32 MCU has enough processing for that? Thank you in advanced.

Hi,I am using backup sram in stm32f429zi. Data Read write in backup sram section is executing properly and data will retain after power down. But when we do the power UP then my program is not executing from main loop. so my code is not working as required. As soon as I do the hardware reset then my code worked as per requirement and data also retaining in backupsram. so my question is that how can we recognize that the Power is up without using hardware reset? Thanks,Anagha

Using the HAL I2C library, is there any way to generate a continuous stream of scl and sda without a stop bit after the chip address acknowledge and data acknowledge. Otherwise I am planning to use a i2C bitbang library any recommendations? The target chip that I am using does not like the marked segment below

* This should be in MCU, Sorry * * :thinking_face:I'm trying to use a linked folder. We have several software bases that we want to use the same includes (they are all on the same hardware). On AC6 I did this by creating a linked folder. The folder only existed in 1 of the projects but was accessed by all projects.In STM32CubeIDE I can create the link without issue, and the editor uses the link to locate and display files. But the makefile ignores it. So all the makes fail. I could hand-modify the makefile, but since it's generated I don't want to do that. I could also add an include in the tool settings of the 'C Build' properties. What do you suggest? :man:

I am trying to setup SPI communication via DMA on the STM32L4S9AII6 MCU. It seems to be half working as you see in the image "SPI Bug". In this test I am sending a string of 6 bytes. As you can see, only the first half make it out of the MCU alive, but the MCU is obviously trying to send the full 6 bytes. This is over the SPI3 peripheral. Also note the PB12 signal at the bottom of the "SPI Bug" image attached. This is a GPO pin that I assert high when the "HAL_SPI_TxHalfCpltCallback" callback function is called. Likewise, I de-assert the same pin low when the "HAL_SPI_TxCpltCallback" callback function is called. Not sure why the half-transfer complete callback function is getting called at the beginning of the transfer. Maybe that is a hint as to what is wrong here.I am also successfully using UART1 + DMA where I am consistently able to send messages with many bytes.Yes, I have "MX_DMA_Init();" before all other peripherals that use DMA. By the way, when does ST plan to fix this bug, it

When developing a class, can CubeIDE update a method's name in the .cpp file when it's modified in the .h (the sme the other way around)? Or do we have to modify both files?

Hi,I need to use the execution_config to enable autonomous mode for my STWIN, and sample intermittently a couple of sensors. So I put at the root of my SDCARD the two json files (DeviceConfig and execution_config) with the following code supposed to datalog for 1 minute and then pause for 14 minutes. However, It only works the first cycle and then never datalogs again, and I get only one collected data folder in the sdcard{ "info": { "version": "1", "auto_mode": true, "phases_iteration": 0, "start_delay_ms": 5000, "execution_plan": [ "datalog", "idle" ],   "datalog": { "timer_ms": 60000 }, "idle": { "timer_ms": 840000 } } }Any idea Why?thanks,

Hi all,I need to know if TouchGFX in binary from could be use in commercial product. The official site (https://www.touchgfx.com/get-touchgfx/) says:"It is a free tool for production and redistribution on STM32 microcontrollers"so, i think i can use it in commercial product without charge.Thanks in advance for support.

I am porting X-CUBE-CELLULAR to a new modem and host MCU. I am stuck at the initial modem initialization of the AT command channel when sending the cmd "AT" to the modem. The modem is Nimbelink TC4NAG and host MCU is Nucleo 144 F429. Flow control is disabled on the modem and no flow control is being used. Baud rate is 115200. I started with the BG96 modem as my example.I have ported the cellular application and I can confirm UART communication channel is working between the modem and the MCU. My issue is when the command 'AT' is issued by the MCU the "OK" from the modem's response is not processed (it is like the Modem turns off the UART RX interrupt before waiting for the whole "OK" response. I have turned on trace output and I can see what messages the MCU receives via UART. On line 89 of the code snipped below you will see the second time I send the "AT" cmd the UART has the character "O" from the previous AT command' response in the response buffer. Is there a timeout setting to ad

Hi everyone!I've got something strange with my ADCs (working on STM32H743). Everything was working until I realized that both of my ADC values are refreshed only if use other DMA peripheral. For example, it seems that sending SPI refresh the ADC, otherwise values stay the same.You can have a look at my code :void HAL_ADC_MspInit(ADC_HandleTypeDef* hadc) { GPIO_InitTypeDef GPIO_InitStruct = { 0 }; if(hadc->Instance == ADC2) { /* Initializes the peripherals clock */ RCC_PeriphCLKInitTypeDef PeriphClkInitStruct = { 0 }; PeriphClkInitStruct.PeriphClockSelection = RCC_PERIPHCLK_ADC; PeriphClkInitStruct.AdcClockSelection = RCC_ADCCLKSOURCE_CLKP; if(HAL_RCCEx_PeriphCLKConfig(&PeriphClkInitStruct) != HAL_OK) __DEBUG_BKPT();   /* Peripheral clock enable */ __HAL_RCC_ADC12_CLK_ENABLE(); __ADC12_CLK_ENABLE(); __HAL_RCC_DMA1_CLK_ENABLE(); __HAL_RCC_GPIOB_CLK_ENABLE();   GPIO_InitStruct.Pin = GPIO_PIN_0 | GPIO_PIN_1; GPIO_InitStruct.Mode = GPIO_MODE_ANALOG; GPIO_Ini
