Hello,I was checking if it is possible to test my M33 NS code I generated using CubeMX would work in Developer Mode. However, the information found on internet suggest it being difficult as it requires the clock to be configured by M33 and also needs RIF accesses making it difficult. Without proper documentation on use case and how to use developer mode, it becomes challenging to work on a project within a stipulated time. So please, I would request for the help and Information to test and debug the code in Developer mode. Thanks for the support. With regardsAmit
Hello! Has anyone tried to deploy multiple neural networks on a stm32n6 at once? I'm developing an application which requires 5 NN. I created 5 .c libraries to deploy each NN on the NPU, I assume is because of the APIs that they overlap. So I'm curious if anyone has tried this and how it was solved. My last option is to create a bigger models that contains all 5 on onnx, then deploy it, idk if someone knows if this could work to.
Hello,I don't have so much experience with the boards of STM32 and I'm struggling a bit (actually a lot) with a quite simple task.I want to run a blinking test with the board STM32MP257F-EV1.I installed the STM32CubeMX, STM32CubeIDE and STM32CubeProgrammer.First I generated the code with CubeMX and added the code for blinking in the CubeIDE. Then I clicked on Run -> Debug and there was this error:Error message from debugger back end:Remote communication error. Target disconnected: (undocumented errno 10061).I changed the BOOT switches to 0 1 0 0, and then did Run -> Debug again. This time there was this error:Open On-Chip Debugger 0.12.0+dev-00608-gd8ed48fef (2025-02-06-11:17) [https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/OpenOCD]Licensed under GNU GPL v2For bug reports, readhttp://openocd.org/doc/doxygen/bugs.htmlsrst_only srst_pulls_trst srst_gates_jtag srst_open_drain connect_deassert_srstInfo : Listening on port 6666 for tcl connectionsInfo : Listening on port 4444 for telnet connec
Hi everyone, I am trying to read pulses of a rotary incremental encoder npn on the screen connected to a Jetson sbc, through SPI connection with a STM32 NUCLEO-G474RE. On CubeMx i already modified pins, generated code and flashed on stm32. Once i run the python code on Jetson, no pulses are seen on the monitor. Do you have any suggestion? Thank you in advance. Enrico
Hey guys!I am currently working with Secure Boot using ARM TrustZones, Secure and Non-Secure!I have ***ed up my code majorly hehe, and I cant just Ctrl + Z everything since I have edited in a lot of files and generated code from CubeMX (UART, HAL, HASH etc), is there a smooth way to go back to an older version of the entire folder, for example an older version of NonSecure and Secure etc. Thanks in advance!
Hello, I didn't find the layout this board online. can someone help me find the layout of this STEVAL-L99MH98 board? Layout I am asking is not present in the user manual of this board. Thank you, Br, Gopal
Hello, Does anyone know where I can find the safety manual for L99mh98 octal half bridge driver? br, Gopal [moderation edit: removed label Gate Drivers, added Automotive Power]
Hello, I updated my StellarStudio from 9.0.0 to 9.0.2 and pin configuration editor stopped working showing just only white page. Reverting version back to 9 is working fine again. Tested MCU is SR5E1E5. Thanks!
Hello, I am working with STM32WLE5CC and using the LSCO output (configured via HAL_RCCEx_EnableLSCO(RCC_LSCOSOURCE_LSI), source = LSI) to observe the low‑speed clock externally. In my application: LSI is used as the RTC clock source RTC is used as the wake‑up source from Stop2 mode RTC is configured in binary‑only mode AsynchPrediv = 30 Wake‑up period = 5 seconds According to RM0461: “The clock on LSCO is available in Run, Stop, Standby and Shutdown modes.” “In Stop 2 mode, all I/O pins keep the same state as in the Run mode.” This observation is independent of RF RX/TX activity and refers only to the Run ↔ Stop2 transition. However, on hardware I observe the following behavior: When transitioning from Run → Stop2, the LSCO pin stops toggling for a short time (~104 µs), then resumes. When transitioning from Stop2 → Run, the LSCO pin stops toggling for a longer time (~530 µs) before toggling again. This occurs even though: LSCO is enabled LSI
Hello, I am currently using the NUCLEO-U545RE-Q and trying to set low-power modes with FreeRTOS. I have already seen videos from official ST channel and read documentation but I cannot get to set this functioning when using FreeRTOS and RTC. My goal is to blink an LED every 5 seconds and in the reamaining time go to STOP mode for low power consumption. This are my functions: void StartDefaultTask(void *argument) { /* USER CODE BEGIN defaultTask */ /* Infinite loop */ while(1) { osSemaphoreAcquire(BinarySemaphoreHandle, osWaitForever); printf("Toggle Led\n"); BSP_LED_Toggle(LED_GREEN); } /* USER CODE END defaultTask */ } /* Private application code --------------------------------------------------*/ /* USER CODE BEGIN Application */ void HAL_RTCEx_WakeUpTimerEventCallback(RTC_HandleTypeDef *hrtc) { printf("RTC Callback\n"); osSemaphoreRelease(BinarySemaphoreHandle); } void PreSleepProcessing(uint32_t ulExpectedIdleTime) { HAL_SuspendTick(); /* Start low power timer
Hi,I am trying to link up a Nucleo-F411RE board to a STLINK-V3PWR unit via the SWD (CN6) header.I am going to make a breakout board for the connector. See image below, I am assuming that I do not have to connect T_VCP_RX and T_VCP_TX to anything on the Nucleo board, am I right?
Hi Do any example bootloader files exist for the SR5E1E5 micro series. I can see that there are flash examples in the ESDK area of the StellarStudio, but I cannot find any bootloader example files. If there is no example code, then are there any application notes on the process for creating a bootloader that can program the Flash? Many thanks in advance.
Hello.I'm having trouble transfer the UserApp to SBSFU. Here's the description of the issue.I am working on SBSFU on STM32H753-Eval, So i altered the given sample for my UART to map to ST-LINK VCP. I am able to see logs post this changes. Later I Dissabled all security stuffs with below macro and fully erase the board (by setting RDP level 1->0 ).I'm using the 2-Image example code, All security feature were disabled by#define SECBOOT_DISABLE_SECURITY_IPS in app_sfu.h. I loaded SBSFU.elf onto the board and transferred the UserApp.sfb via YMODEM. However the program went into a infinite reset loop. It is rebooting every time i send UserApp.sfb. I tried Increasing the Download Timeout from 3000 to 10000 from this macro, same issue /* Teraterm YMODEM */ /* #define SFU_COM_YMODEM_DOWNLOAD_TIMEOUT ((uint32_t)3000U) */ #define SFU_COM_YMODEM_DOWNLOAD_TIMEOUT ((uint32_t)10000U) /* IIs there any specific step i need to follow ?... kindly guide me here.&nb
Hi,while integrating the module, we noticed that UDP client connections appear to be explicitly blocked in the driver (w61_at_net.c) for mission_t01 firmware (LwIP offload). The following code only allows TCP and SSL connections:if ((conn->Protocol != W61_NET_TCP_CONNECTION) && (conn->Protocol != W61_NET_TCP_SSL_CONNECTION) #if (W61_NET_IPV6_ENABLE == 1) && (conn->Protocol != W61_NET_TCPV6_CONNECTION) && (conn->Protocol != W61_NET_TCPV6_SSL_CONNECTION) #endif /* W61_NET_IPV6_ENABLE */ ) { NET_LOG_ERROR("Only TCP and SSL protocols are supported for client connections\n"); return W61_STATUS_ERROR; }However, according to the official AT command documentation, UDP client connections are supported:https://applist67.github.io/Web_AT_Documentation_ST67/v2.0.106/index.html#establish-udp-connectionAfter commenting out this restriction, I was able to establish a UDP client connection successfully, and communication seems to work.Is there a specific reason why
Hi,I am presently planning to use Viper265K part for High Voltage Buck converter design with below requirements: MinMax Vin200900V Vout4.5 V+/-5%Iout0.44 A Pout2 W With above requirements the duty cycle for the device is observed to be 0.5%. Please can you help me to know if the device can be used for such low duty cycle and what would be recommendation from your side for achieving above design requirement.
Hi,We are using the ST Micro Devices SLVU2.8‑8A1 TVS array on the primary side of the Ethernet connector for ESD protection in a 1000BASE‑T Ethernet design. It is observed that when the SLVU2.8‑8A1 is mounted, the 1G Ethernet link reports FCS errors with ~100-metre cables, whilst shorter-length cables work error-free.When the device is removed, the Ethernet link becomes fully stable and error‑free on the same hardware with longer length cables.Ideally the device should not interact with the Ethernet data being transmitted. Please check how the device can interact with normal datalink propagation. The problem is observed in designs with PHYs from two leading manufacturers. Attaching the images of the device as well. Thanks & Regards,Rohit Dixit
Hi,I'm trying to control a BLDC motor connected to B-G431-ESC1 driver in Open Loop Voltage mode. With Motor Pilot control there's no problems. I'm not able to find the correct HAL commands to use for:A) Set Open Loop Voltage mode ( B) Set the reference voltageC) Set the speed in RPMStart, Stop, Ack Fault commands are ok. AI gave me a lot of indications but nothing seems work ok. Many thanks who will help me.Bye Rossano

Hi everyone,I am developing a project on the STM32N657X0H3Q where I need to implement a Dual CDC ACM composite device.I am following the "Standalone" implementation to avoid a full ThreadX dependency, as I plan to integrate this with a FreeRTOS project (using X-CUBE-FREERTOS).While looking at the USBX configuration in CubeMX and the ST Wiki (Introduction to USBX), I noticed the option USBD_COMPOSITE_USE_IAD ( As seen in the picture). If I enable USBD_COMPOSITE_USE_IAD , can I simply increase the number of CDC ACM class instances in CubeMX to 2?Does CubeMX automatically handle the IAD grouping for the second CDC instance, or do I need to manually adjust the interface descriptors in the generated ux_device_descriptors.c ?Can you provide an approach to configure this using MX? Which are all the files that should be edited to configure this.
Hello,I came across the following problem: whenever firmware writes some data to flash memory, the NRST pin doesn't work. I mean, when low level is asserted on NRST pin the device starts to run software not at 0x0800... address but at 0x1FFF.... The same happens in the debugger: when I press "Reset the chip..." button. I get the message: "Break at address "0x1fff5236" with no debug information available, or outside of program code."The data is written to flash memory page which is not used by the running program code. Data is correctly written and no error is shown in the FLASH->SR register. I didn't change any option bytes. The device runs at 80 MHz, BOOT0 pin is grounded. What am I doing wrong ?
Hi I have a question regarding use of STL6P3LLH6 MOSFET in the reference design as shown in EVAL-SCS001V1. In this reference, there is only one STL6P3LLH6(T1) used as shown below: But in the datasheet of STUSB4500, Fig 10 shows use of 2 such MOSFETs as shown below. What is the advantage of using 2 of these? In my design, i will use STUSB4500 to negotiate only fixed 20V, 2.5A. So, wondering if i need to put 2 MOSFETs or would it be OK with only one? Thanks!
I have an issue were the Linux kernel is booting, then it just stops printing out messages from USART6.Meanwhile, optee, u-boot and TF-a is printing out messages from USART6. But not Linux after a while. What can have caused this?My processor is: STM32MP257F.
Hi Community,I am working on STM32H747I-DISCO Board and trying to bringup digital MEMS Mic (MP34DT05) which is integrated on STM32H7-DISCO Board.I am trying to record random voice for 5 seconds and need to play back via audio jack out which is connected to codec also it is integrated on the board. I am sharing you schematic of the board as below:MP34DT05 is connected to MCU directly with SAI4 Interface and Solder Brifdges are provided to connect via codec Here I developed the application code to interface and record via MIC and playback via Audio Jack out./* Includes ------------------------------------------------------------------*/ #include "main.h" /* Private includes ----------------------------------------------------------*/ /* USER CODE BEGIN Includes */ #include "stm32h747i_discovery_audio.h" #include <math.h> #include"log.h" #include<string.h> #include "pdm_config.h" #include "pdm2pcm_glo.h" #include <stdio.h> /* USER CODE END Includes */ /* Private t
Hi,I'm working on to get the multiple SAI to Codec to work synchronized as the connection below,1x MCLK1x BCLK1x FSYNC4x DIN4x DOUTWhere the three Clocks 1x lines (MCLK, BCLK & LRCLK) from one SAI master (actual pinout clock) & other SAI (pinout DIN & DOUT) sync clock internally (not sure possible b/w the SAI).SAI1 (clock master) -> MCLK, BCLK, FSYNC, DIN/DOUT -> codec1SAI2 (clock slave) -> (SAI1 MCLK, BCLK, FSYNC), DIN/DOUT -> codec2SAI3 (clock slave) -> (SAI1 MCLK, BCLK, FSYNC), DIN/DOUT -> codec3SAI4 (clock slave) -> (SAI1 MCLK, BCLK, FSYNC), DIN/DOUT -> codec4According to the TRM RM0436 Rev 7 55.4.4 External synchronization should be used between the SAI.does this need external pin connection between two SAI (all three clocks)? I'm facing error when arecord on SAI1 in the background and trying to start playback on SAI2, attached dts overlay filearecord -D hw:0,0 -f S16_LE -r 48000 -c 2 -d 0 /dev/null &sleep 1aplay -D hw:0,2 -f
I want to measure the MCU temperature using the internal temperature sensor of the STM32U356VGT.Could you provide details on the accuracy of the temperature readings? Additionally, I would like to understand whether the sensor requires user calibration for reliable results, or if it is factory-calibrated and ready to use as-is.
