Pasting Image gives "Something went wrong; check link"

I can’t post a screenshot because I just get that error!

Why is it telling me to check a link? It’s not  a link - it’s an image!

 

I also can’t attach the images as attachments - it gives the exact same message.

Thanks for reporting this issue. 

The errors you received are due to all attachments uploading being disabled as a security measure, following the PHP vulnerability discovered yesterday.
Attachment uploads have been disabled since around 2 PM CEST October 21. We expect all attachment uploading to work as intended later today. 

I will provide an update here once the issue is resolved.
