New forum doesn't provide PDF preview?

There is a PDF attached.

On the old forum, attached PDFs could be viewed online - without having to download.

I can’t see how to do that now - clicking, or right-clicking and choosing ‘open in new tab’ both just try to start a download.

Am I missing something?

I just received confirmation that when user clicks on the PDF link, it directly downloads the file because this behavior is the browser default.

But I’m still using the same Browser as before?

And, on other pages, I can right-click a PDF, choose ‘Open in new tab’, and it will open in the Browser - without downloading.
