Why does ST not publish a list of known problems with STM32CubeIDE and STM32CubeMX, and possible workarounds, until they are fixed?

I have spent hours trying to find bugs, and when I report them I am told they are "known problems". And the ST employee points to a number, that is internal to ST only.

Companies publish Errata sheets all the time when the chip does not work as advertised with workarounds. Why not have one for your software tools?

Hello there,

STM32CubeMX publishes the known issues in the release note for each version.

STM32CubeIDE used to do the same thing but to keep it more of a "living document" if additional problems were found during a release we decided to move the known problems to the wiki, so you can find it here.

Thanks I did not know that was in the WiKi. I will browse it now.

Release notes usually tell what bugs it fixed. I do not remember seeing anything about errors in the released version. That may be because I usually switch early in the release before the errors are found.
