I amusing STM32CubeMX version 6.0.1.
My board is based on the STM32L071RBT6 MCU.
I am using the IOC file attached to this post.
The code generator is configured for KEIL MDK 5.27 (same with MDK v5).
The code generator appears to complete successfully -- I get a pop up indicating the same.
However, when I click on either of the two options (Open Folder, Close) I get the same error popup shown below. I also notice that there is no startup or scatter load descriptor either

Hello @RMand
Thanks for the feedback, i did the same scenario and i had no issue.
Please try to uninstall then install keil MDK again. It should works correctly.
Best regards,
Nesrine

I went ahead and uninstalled, and then reinstalled, the latest MDK that is available with support for the STM32F0/L0 MCU families.
But still see the same behavior.
What I do not understand is why the message in the pop up keeps referring to MDK v5.27 (I used to have MDK v5.31 and after the reinstall it is at 5.35)
Cheers

I would like to raise a ticket to resolve this issue.
I do not understand why the CubeMx is looking for MDK v5.27 when I do not even have that tool installed on my PC and I never set up the Cube to refer to this version of the KEIL toolkit.
