Using STM32WLE5 sub-GHz in high-power mode (22 dBm) with internal LDO

Hi,

I just want to make sure that it is possible Using STM32WLE5 SUBGHZ IN HIGH-POWER MODE (22 DBM) , higher frequency band , WITH THE INTERNAL LDO  ?   (without the internal SMPS )

I am asking because i see in the CUBE-MX under the tools tab that there is no option to select "high-power" when selecting "SMPS OFF"

Thank You,

Viola

Hello @viola

As you can see on the chapter 4.3.3 of the RM0461, the transmitter for high output power does not need SMPS to be configured :

For the CubeMX part, can you please give more details (how to reproduce).

Best Regards.

Hi ,

As you can see in the picture below , I dont have the option for "high power" when "SMPS"  is OFF

Thank you so much for this escalation. It is sent to the CubeMX team for update on the future (under internal ticket number 195795). That may depend on the available data for simulation (test results...) .

Best Regards.
