I am using Nucleo STM32L496ZG board. I need to drive Eight 64Mb NOR flash memories. Will FSMC be useful in this case? Please help

You'd need an address decoder, but looks doable.

Or you could use a single 512Mb (64MB) QSPI NOR FLASH

Can you tell me why I need to have addr decoder when chip select lines are available for each NOR flash?
