I want to avoid using VIAs between the balls in my design with the UFBGA 100 package as it increases the cost considerably and I am not comfortable with these small tolerances.
This seems feasible if only the NRST pin is can be routed through PC0. Could this create some strange behavior or startup problems? Alternatively, could I mask off that pin so it is not soldered to the pad, or will this create issues with lifting the package (using non soldermas defined pads) .
Thanks for any help in advance!

You can connect NRST to PC0 (or any other default high impedance pin) without issues as long as you keep PC0 in a high impedance state.

Thank you for your answer TDK! I will do some tests and try this out. Cheers!
