Hello! I'm trying to smoothly brake a three phase brushless motor, by short circuiting the phases. At this moment an overvoltage occurs damaging the power circuit. Is this the right way to do it? Thanks

Instead of shorting the phases, I have a another option for you.
Use another one switch(external Switch) when switch is opened it will give high command to MCU. During that time your MCU will stop all PWM.
So this method is smooth than short circuiting the phases.

Dear marco siqueira
Do you have still this problem to solve?
