The board appears in Device Manager on my Windows 10 PC, and port/baud rate/parity settings match what is in Motor Pilot and STM32CubeProgrammer. Neither Motor Pilot nor STM32CubeProgrammer will connect to the board. I am using the latest drivers. What am I missing?

Hello @sargross,
Refer to how to write a motor control post for providing more details and to "Getting Started with ST Motor Control SDK" documentation available through "Workbench tool">About>Documentations>Documentation.
Using STM32CubeProgrammer, click on "Firmware upgrade", "Refresh device list" and "open in update mode" to upgrade ST link version.

[DETAILS]: cannot connect to board
[EXPECTED BEHAVIOR]: establish a connection
I have read all of the getting started guide, and I do not have a firmware upgrade option in STM32CubeProgrammer v2.20:

Hello @sargross,
Select ST-LINK instead of J-Link option.
