I have been Working on Creating USB device mode for STM32 NUCLEO-L4P5ZG ,but the device(other than ST link) is not showing connected in device manager. Is it required to install any driver for the PC in order to recognize the device?

What kind/class of device?

Have you connected the other USB cable to the board (bottom edge)?

.

The device is Mouse. yes, I have connected the bottom edge.

presently I'm configuring the OTG mode ,in that host mode is working but for device mode it is not showing the connected device in the USB port manager

You're going to get another device for the PC. A USB bus analyzer.

Can you please provide that device details for reference.

USB bus analyzer is a little box like this. You plug it between your device and the PC.

Thanks for reply .The issue is displayed as follow in my desktop "The last connected USB device not recognized."

Will this issue get resolved with that USB bus analyzer?

Not directly resolved, but the analyzer will help to understand where is the problem.

It can be "software", like an error in handling request for descriptors, or hardware (bad voltage, bad connection etc).
