Welcome, @dave239955, to the community!

Footprints are typically included in newer datasheets, but unfortunately this is still missing here. In the meantime, ST has a cooperation with UltraLibrarian, which is also referred to via the CAD Resources tab, but unfortunately the footprint for the PPAK 5L in connection with the LF50ABPT-TR is still missing, too.

Workaround: the LDFMPT-TR also uses an absolutely identical package, so you can use its footprint even if it is a different LDO. Simply select tab CAD Resources and get the footprint from there.

Is that helpful?

You can get footprints at

  • SnapEDA.com
  • mouser.ca (See ECAD icon on page for part, I see a few different LF50AB)

Please don't use the footprint from the document on bdtic.com as it is from 2004 and much older than the current one mentioned above.
