Teseo-LIV3F, no satellite position.

Hello, Can you help me?

I assembled a module on the Teseo-liv3f basis with a passive antenna (A25-4102920-AMT02). And I can not get the coordinates in nmea messages (screenshot in attach). What could be the problem?

The module in your hands isn't the final one.

It's a prototyping sample built in ~Nov 2017.

On board there isn't the final firmware.

We could plan a firmware-update of the module to promote the module to the final firmware.

@Francesco, On which board are you testing the module?

if in your board you can reset the module (just with a simple push-button or similar..) yes you can.

I can force the Reset pin to a low level (pin9 - SYS_RESETn) as described in the manual: "When the user wants to update the Teseo-LIV3F, Teseo-LIV3F must be powered and under reset; the user must configure the tool, select binary image and start firmware upgrade process. Only when the process has started, user must take Teseo-LIV3F out of reset."

I made several tests and Teseo, with the FW update, is working: it receives GPS and GLONASS.

I have one more question: how can I receive GALILEO satellite? Is there a configuration/enable?

Teseo-Suite require an activation key to unlock some feature, how can I have that?

To enable Galileo you have to reconfigure the module.

Have a look into the attached presentation (slide 7) where all the possible configurations are listed (with related command).

For Teseo-Suite you can ask activation key to the Teseo-suite support.
