No, whenever I encounter these boxed pastes, often from within the page, I get the HTML failing warning. It's not the use of bad words.

I get these boxes occasionally, and had not really figured the mechanics, was just frustrated and broken.

Tips, buy me a coffee, or three.. PayPal Venmo Up vote any posts that you find helpful, it shows what's working..

It's not the forum - it's a Windows "feature".

See: https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-boards-and-hardware/technical-document-organization/m-p/638832/highlight/true#M17158

EDIT

and a Windows feature which is widely despised:

Likewise.

You can use Ctrl+Shift+v to paste plain text instead that will be displayed without formatting of any kind.

Yes, that's definitely available in Chrome (see the other thread:(

but is it universal across all browsers?

I think it's fairly new on Chrome?

Simply press the 'Post' button again and it will post OK

EDIT:

I see @waclawek.jan has already reported this:

Works on Chrome, Firefox for the last decade or more. Less for Edge since it didn't exist for that long. What else is relevant?
